In fact, i find from your video that most of Northern Pakistan is really beautiful because it is so near to those wonderful mountain ranges (K2 is just beyond). One major difference between Pakistan and India that I noticed from many traveler's videos is: Althouth both countries are poor, but Pakistani kept their streets and cities much cleaner than Indian. India just has too many filthy dirt streets and cities.

But since you are there in summer, please do not miss out on trying all the different varieties of Mangoes you can find once you get out of northern Pakistan. I can assure you they are unlike any other Mangoes you would have tried in East Asia or Latin America.

Most of the Deserts all over the world are very hot, dry and barren but this one is called cold desert because the temperature there drops to below zero celsius in winter and its the only desert in the world which is surrounded by snow covered mountains and river on the other side.Glad you enjoyed the quad bike ride. Next time do try jeep safarai and just walking on the sand dunes, which I personally enjoy more than the other activities.

This area is also part of Jammu Kashmir state and disputed territory. However it is under Pakistan administrative control

I won't say only in the world. The Atacama desert in South America is very cold as well. Probably the coldest in Pakistan.
