- We're British couple Jack and Paige and today we're leaving Skardu, Pakistan, and heading back to the bustling cities. We take a crazy taxi drive from our hotel to the airport where a local Baltistani musician plays us his own songs and sings them for us, we enter the amazingly small Skardu airport and are greeted by friendly military guards. We tour the airport, buy some snacks, and head on the most scenic airport shuttle in the world. We board the plane and try PIA plane food and get incredible crystal clear views of the legendary Nangar Parbat.
✈️ This is one of the most challenging flights in the world for pilots and the most dangerous in Pakistan because they have to get up and over an immediate 4000M valley and then straight into 8000M mountain ranges. The weather can change at any moment in these parts and turbulence is to be expected.

Finally a vlogger who can put himself in the other person's shoes. Some people rush through Pakistan without learning about the culture and eating McDonalds all the time, because they are scared as visitors, in a strange land. To them I say stop being so scared all the damn time.

The prayer is basically what muslims recite every time they start a journey, a prayer for protection during the travel, if you will.
Here is the translation: " Glory unto Him Who created this (transport), for us, though we were unable to create it on our own. And unto our Lord we shall return.

I like the airport that was amazing view surrounded by valleys and mountains. Beautiful airport and i like the snack and especially the disposable green colour glasses.
Pakistan has the potential to be a major tourism destination. 3 airlines applied to start from Skardu airport in future you will see more airplanes there. The prayers in the plane is actually Dua for journey. Thanks for showing the world how beautiful and safe pakistan is. As more tourism comes they will upgrade the terminal of the airport.
