Greetings to Harry and the beautiful and friendly people of Pakistan from the Philippines. Wow! Pakistan has a cold desert within mountains. That's cool. As i learned, the 2nd highest mountain in the World next to Mt. Everest of Nepal is in Pakistan, and that's K2 or Mt. Karakoram.
K2 is the second largest summit.

Pakistan has some of the vast deserts in Sindh province. look up "Thar desert", then there is "Cholistan". The one you are visiting is amazing though The Cold Desert, also known as the Katpana Desert or Biama Nakpo which is 2,226 metres (7,303 ft) above sea level...
