    1) The (mute) guy in the desert was finding it hard to ask if you needed any help, even though you yourself had stopped there to help someone else. lol.
    2) The girls wear blue (qameez) and white (shalwar) mixed uniform, with a white scarf. That's the official uniform for government-run schools. The uniforms of private schools differ from school to school. It's a shame that these lovely souls have to walk long-distances to schools due to unavailability of any commute system to and from schools.
    3) The hanging metal chains on the trucks, regularly touching the ground, are there to prevent electrostatic discharge-related incidents. The rest of the paintings and the decorations on the trucks are for mere aesthetic purposes.
    4) I am a resident of Skardu. Love all your videos. I hope your short stay here was peaceful, enjoyable and memorable. Have safe tours wherever you go.

When a truck driver at Pakistan leaves his home he does not know when will return and even if will he return. Some times his trip may become months long. He spends his time with his family and wife in his memory.
The concept behind the art is to make the truck decorative like driver's wife with with ornaments. It keeps driver feel like at home.

I wanted to share that Gilgit is a very safe and beautiful region, full of warm and welcoming people. They have so much kindness and culture to share, and seeing this represented globally would mean a lot. Thank you for considering this!

Warm Welcome to Pakistan !!! Pakistan's truck painting is a vibrant folk art that transforms trucks into moving canvases with intricate designs, cultural symbols, and vivid colors. Drivers often spend substantial amounts on these decorations, seeing them as a source of pride and a reflection of personal and cultural identity.

Pakistani truck art began in the 1920s and evolved in the 1950s-60s as truck drivers started decorating their vehicles with colorful, symbolic artwork, turning it into a cultural tradition. These designs, featuring flowers, animals, and religious symbols, vary by region-Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan each have distinct styles. Today, this vibrant art form is internationally recognized and appears in various products like clothing and accessories.

Im Pakistani, and the mute guy even gave me creepy feellings. The moment you feel something is out of the ordinary, just start moving. ❤

Yes this is a good advice , even for men, just being aware of your surroundings, I was working on the ships world wide for 20 years and this is a safety thing you pick up as you go along. The docks were always in the toughest poorest most dangerous areas of the city and even the taxi drivers would sometimes refuse to bring us back to the ship, thats when we asked the mission to seaman to help out, which they were only too pleased to do. Anyway good luck, you are doing really well so far, long may it continue. ❤❤❤❤

@krikkosadventure oh Kristina, just bcz you have a good heart doesn't mean others have too. Yes, it might be a miscommunication situation, but he shouldn't have come stand so close to you. He should've kept some distance. Anyway, eagerly waiting for your next video. ❤️❤️❤️
