That's because it was taken and made from an actual 2D anime screenshot unlike a majority of anime CG models which are also usually not baked enough and don't intend to be the focus for very long on screen.
@@hangry3102 The hard part is making it still look "anime" and not look weird no matter where your perspective. If it is as easy as "taking screenshot from the actual anime" then there would've been tons of models like this on the internet.
Rentaro after watching this guide: So now i can not just see how they move and talk with voice, but also a 3D? *Ordering the best PC for 3D Modelling and downloading blender as crazy*
You make me realize that im overthinking my topology when modeling. Im working harder than i should when your videos show me how i can achieve the look i want with so much less stress.
I'm 1 year into graphic design college, and now I'm starting my animation study and Blender is the app we use, I think I'll use your channel to practice at home
I can appreciate that someone finally outlines the process without taking several hours with multiple detours along the way. Drivers are not necessary at all and just this artist's personal preference. You can just use shape keys + traditional rigging with human metarigs. Since she does not rig her model here.
I was confused at first ,but I think I understand now what the dynamic shadow was for You used a sort of local color texture (the one with the lines and shadows baked in) for the base and use the shadows to overwrite it when going into full shadow. But since the shadow color is the same it transitions smoothly between the two. That's a very cool concept! Thank you for sharing
Making 2D anime look so good when you convert it to 3D is very difficult, I implore you to make a video detailing the process to do to texturize and the nodes part, please, pleaseeeeee
please make an in depth tutorial for beginners or a course on how you make your characters. It would really be helpful especially since the tutorials you listed are in japanese Dx
Holy shit, holy shit, It's her! The one who posted that 3D Shizuka. Not only that, she comes out with a tutorial on it as well. God bless thee, instant sub!!
Definitely watching the full video on the other channel. I learned a lot from this, but watching it a little slower sounds like a great idea. I feel like I might be able to actually do it now if I follow along! Edit: I don't know if I ever found the other channel. I would appreciate some help.
Instant subscribe! Very straightforward and to the point. Very smooth. This is just so amazing. I'm learning so much just watching your process. Your commentary is also really helpful and very good!
Followup: I've tried following your approach for making the head almost exactly, and I must say, it feels good and makes sense. I'll definitely be practicing with this workflow and working on it to suit my own needs. Thanks again for this video! Also subbed to your second channel and followed the full timelapse through the head at quarter speed to help with the process. :)
You are real Shrek, I respect it. For some reason, when I try to move the vertex in one of the planes, it also moves in the others, which is why it is simply impossible to build a model based on the reference.
Having your voice over makes a really big difference in terms of the ease at which I can follow along. Granted I feel there are some features that blender should add for 3D modelling for the viewport, like being able to do a CT-scrolling through the 3D model... if that makes sense ; )
I like that you use a character from 100 girlfriend. I m planning to watch the anime after I m done with my finals. I m also planning to download Blender and learn to create some anime characters too, maybe from chainsaw man or games like princess connect and arknights but either way it's really cool to learn 3d modelling.
Oh, I absolutely love this animation🥰, I am in awe of your detailed modeling skills.☺ Congratulations, you are my first commenter on youtube🥳, I can't wait to see what you will create in the future!😉
BROOOO I LOVE HER SO MUCHHH!!! I FORGOT THE CHARACTER'S NAME, BUT SHE IS THE CUTESTTTTT ONE EVERRRRR!!!! SO CUTEEEEEE ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER!!!! 0:06 Ah yeah thats her name XD
This is the most anime looking 3D anime model I've ever seen

I recconend also look at last 3 Guilty Gear games - it have great models and cell shading
Many top studios do make it pretty good too, if they're not rushed, ufotable for example.
@@Xenotester those games had always did a great job replicating the anime style, dragon ball fighterz
I think you'd be hired as a 3D artist for this, this is so stellar! Awesome work!
More like 3D Artist, Developer is specifically focused on a game. While (at least from what I saw) she is more focused on the modeling in Blender.
Developer do the programming, 3d artist do the modelling ^^
i doutb she is jobless with the modeling skill she has
@@Kraykat0 depends on how old she is and she could be a freelancer.
@@B5KDEVin the gaming industry, everyone is referred to as a "dev" the one you're talking about is the programmer
Rentarou be going crazy with this one. Incredibly good model and cool video

"Her hair is really straightforward and simple so I'll skip it" BRO WHAT????
😂😂😂. For real
Look up any tutorial for hair curves and there you go
People always say blender can do anything, but what you did really made me feel that statement!
EXACTLY, which is why im learning blender over other animation programs.
I wanna learn blender just so I can make models, no animating lol
Your workflow of directly creating a topologized model is really fascinating. Thank you for posting
That's how you did it in the "olden times" done that a s well long ago :)
That's incredible, looks like she was taken directly out the anime but she has a full 3D structure! Phenomenal!
I'd actually love to see a slower tutorial that also explains the tools used ^^ I think that would be very nice for beginners!
Agreed, maybe with a "Must Known Hotkeys" part.
I don't know if you still need it but Nhij Quang have anime girl modeling tutorial where he do it this way. That's pretty good tut for beginner
@@яиграювбравлстарс-з7и thx
yes absolutely im so thankful for this video i really loved all the process

Your channel is one of the main channels that got me into 3D anime art. Very inspirational work!
Is this a divine gift?
I just finished the anime recently and shizuka is my favorite
Thank you and amazing job
As a learned of cad modeling 3d forms I’m so impressed that some one invented this technology
I can appreciate that someone finally outlines the process without taking several hours with multiple detours along the way.

She looks so cute, I've been struggling with rigging and shape keys lately
Incredible results, this is on par with best looking anime games and 3D animations out there.
モデル3dめちゃかわいいです。
FINALLY SOMEONE THAT EXPLAINS WHAT TF THEY ARE DOING WITH THE EXTRUDE THING, THANK YOU !!!!!
Really impressive work of yours. The explaination is also very clear despite the length of the whole video. 😮
Shizuka is my favorite from the series
Wow, it's really amazing because it turns out that behind the 3D character the process of making it is very complex and quite complicated
I've never seen a pro at blender at young age. I already know that ur gonna be successful on the future, goodluck
Wow, the result is absolutely gorgeous
this is the first thing ive seen in a while thats made me want to re pick up blender and continue learning it

Oh god... I wanna see Karane... You did an awesome job !!!
Creating a topologized model directly in your workflow is truly fascinating. Thank you for sharing this! 😊👍
I would love to see a slowed down version of this! Especially the shading that looks stellar!

Watching: Looks EZ

This looks so AMAZINGG its the most anime looking 2D Model ive ever seen!!
She's so cute! You did an amazing job with the shading.
i love this video from the fact that, is not a tutorial but i learned a new method of 3d modeling
It's an amazing model, very cute! i always wanted to make a 3d model but i find it really hard to get into, it never clicked for me
Now i need this to become a V-Tuber
Ahhhhh...The effort, the time taken, the detail
This is so amazinggggg!!! I never seen the process of making a 3d model and its so cool, plus i love shizuka 😭😭😭💖
thats the best 3d anime model ive ever seen in my entire life, if animators did 3d animes like that would be really decent
It seriously looks 2D. SO GOOD!!

Caramba!! essa foi a explicação mais rápida e precisa que ja vi sobre "Cabeças 3D de Anime"... Muito obrigado! ganhou um inscrito
The model looks both amazing and cute
Whenever I see a vidoe like this, it reminds me just how incredibly powerful blender can be if you really want to understand it
i cant believe i just found your channel today, the end result is amazing! by far the best 3D anime character made in blender
Holy shit, holy shit, It's her! The one who posted that 3D Shizuka. Not only that, she comes out with a tutorial on it as well. God bless thee, instant sub!!
I like your tutorial better. It's way more easier to understand than other tutorial
OMGGG I FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE ELSE WHO KNOWS ABOUT THE 100 GIRLFRIENDS WHO REALLY LOVE YOU
woah it has the feel and aesthetics of 2d art, but its 3d and can be animated and posed easily nice work!!
I absolutely love it, and it’s true to the style, looks just like the anime character, but it’s 3D. Amazing work! :)
Normally making an anime character 3D distorts the image, but this is very good.
Youre so talented !
your model looks so expressive and full of life , amazing work
DUDE THIS JUST REMINDED ME OF MAUL'S ZANE COSPLAY DUDE ITS LIKE 2D BUT 3D OH MY GOD
