Your model is so unique! I really love that. I have zero skills in visual art. Im relegated to vroid studio. But I WISH I was able to do something so freaking cool.
If you have time for occasional practice in blender, look up the donut blender tutorial series. It is by the UA-camr Blender Guru, and is a good place to start learning Blender for absolute beginners. Also check out Ducky 3D’s channel. He mostly does motion graphics, but a lot of his videos are beginner friendly so long as you understand the basic. 😊 Have fun!
your whole art style is so unique and I am loving it omg like it's a lower resolution than usual but it feels like it's supposed to be. it would taste like the nongrainy green apples
You are now my favorite all-naturally sourced Wizard. Jokes aside, your model is really cool! I've been learning blender for some time now and wanted to try my hand at making a vtuber model, this video was really helpful. Thank You!
thanks for compiling this video and list! I was looking into Vtubing last year, around may, and nothing was really encompassing the steps from Modelling to Vtubing software; I think I`ll give it a shot again with the model I made around then :D
Funny enough I too started at 2020, but instead of focusing on 3D I mostly focused on Programming instead (I learnt Python and C# + Unity), with splashes of audio and video editing, story/script writing, and of course 3D animation.
Thank you for sharing your workflow! Your style is so punchy and charming! (But please equalize and edit your audio a little more, it was really distracting and some parts were difficult to listen to.)
your model looks amazing... I Have been searching for tutorials, and I did found... but either they are tooooo lengthy and complex, or too short, like brushing off the topics. I am hoping your tutorials would be good.
Hi there! I have done sculpting, retopology, texturing and a little bit of rigging in Blender so I think going through your steps might be feasible for me to try! The only thing is that I have never touched Unity. But I want to try this!
I also haven't touched unity that much except for making vtubers, but priichu's tutorial I've mentioned is pretty much all I needed to know about the program for this specific purpose 😊
A good video so far compare to usual tutorial, though it seem you are using Blender 3.5 version. Don't know if there are any part of your video tutorial get outdated-no longer valid with the 4.0 version here ? (so viewer do know where to research more to adjust it)
@@sagehoge your character may not be able to open/close their mouth when you try to speak. Also, eye blinking may not be possible without shape keys. However, if you are going for a mouthless character (like someone wearing a mask) you can skip making shape keys if you want 😁
@@TheVanillaLog hey while I have you here I'm moving my model from mixamo to blender and its not keeping its mesh what do I need to do add it back or do I need to repaint it?
@@sagehoge I haven't used mixamo in a while, but I never experienced this problem when using it. Is the mesh appearing in the Blender's outliner? It could just be placed outside your field of view in the 3d viewport.
please do yourself a favor and pass your audio through a noise gate and background suppression next time, in audacity just have a 30 second bit where you are not talking, and select it to normalize your audio to remove those back ground noises. that dog is just too much. Alternatively if using nvidia graphics card you can use nvidia broadcast to clean up the audio as you record it.
"vertex by vertex modeling" ...You mean box modeling? I'm pretty sure that's called box modeling. Or sub-d modeling. Something like that. But anyways I'm sure there's an actual name for that and it's probably one of those.

I already have the secondary effects on me so I will start to make VTubers :v
Nice video.
About low quality hair, that, maybe, because you not set texel dencity, or something like that.
if i added a black outline in blender, then it will show in unity? because without outline, my model look so flat D:
Thank you!
I'm here so I can transform my fish twink into a fish twunk
I started with blender a year ago, I'm still learning, but I wish get skill with time 😭🥰
The background music is too loud in some parts.

Damn with how much effort it makes to get all the physics down makes me believe even more that most vtubers are secretly men
