John Candy + Clyde Kusatsu = Comedy Genius

  • This is my favorite John Candy scene from the movie "Volunteers." How could you not love this guy? Clyde Kusatsu plays the Commie brainwasher & his shabanga comedic skill is the cherry on top! Clyde goes toe-to-toe with "Tom Tuttle from Tacoma" & the result is comedy genius. Enjoy!

Clyde Kusatsu is just as good as John Candy in this. Without either of them, this would only have been half as funny.

Agree. I'm actually more drawn to his character than JC in this scene. "You bet...." And by the end of the scene Candy is so thoroughly brainwashed that CK can't stand him...LMAO !
