"I'm just a southern peasant" - says the son of the cheif of the southern water tribe. He actually is technically a prince.
Chief*
He says he’s kinda prince too
Prince of one village with like 30 people living there, that being said constant fire nation attacks is never good for population growth.
Eh that's like Vegeta calling himself a prince of saiyans when there's barely any of them left.
@@Direk091 eh, at least the population cant be counted on only two hands
"What was her name, wasn't she in the Kyoshi episode." bruh her name is Avatar Kyoshi lol
No, I believe they were talking about the Water Avatar before Kyoshi. Except that was a guy, not a woman -- so they got that part off at least.
+Ahsim Nreiziev They were talking about the last Water Avatar, but I'm pretty sure he hasn't been introduced yet, and they thought it was Kyoshi, and they also thought that the Avatar introduced in the "Kyoshi episode" was named something else.
Is it a spoiler to say his name? Should we not name them until they are introduced?
They were talking about past avatars, and like how we already saw roku and kyoshi, and if maybe we would see the water avatar.
Ahsim Nreiziev they haven't introduced that yet
unfortunately we couldn't see their reaction to Uncle Iroh spitting hot fire with Zuko's crew.

It's amazing how people can't just keep their fucking mouths shut. What is the point of this dumb ass post?
How is saying a city's name spoilers? Calm the hell down. I bet they don't even know what that place is lol XD
It is weird that I am hooked on your reactions to this show as much as I was hooked onto the show itself.
Benedict Marck same..now we gotta wait a whole week
I was the same with Doug Walker's Vlogs.
Benedict Marck. No, no it is not.
Tristen Vena he is not saying it's the same he said Doug's vlogs where addicting to him 😄
Benedict Marck Eh, Blind Wave is more funny and less political
when he realizes that waterbending is just as strong as firebending
When they realize how well the writers have balanced all the elements.
Ryan Akers i wonder if he'll still be as much of a fire fanboy when you know who joins
He wasn't impressed enough with Bumi to change his mind about firebending the first time, so I don't see why Bumi joining the group would change things now. . . .oops, SPOILERS.
In all seriousness, I'm curious if opinions will change once they see the full range of all the elements.

I mean it was pretty obvious they weren’t gonna kill Zuko off like that, but just think about what Iroh was thinking in the moment he found the ship in flames. He lost his other “son” in that moment, at least until he found out Zuko made it out alive like a badass.
Aw Iroh... wait that's a spoiler due. But you're right Zuko's a badass.
And nobody really talks about it
Stop spoling it people
@@sadiqahmed4143 They already finished the show 2 years back.
4:10 he's technically correct, it's just the south is small enough they just need a cheif not a king, but as the chief's first born son, Sokka is in the same power bracket as Yue
The Northern leader's title is also 'Chief'. So Sokka has exactly the same precendence as Yue.

Mickey: "damn so she cheating"
😂😂😂 Bruh his comments always catches me off guard in the best way
It's interesting to note that the war has fucked with all the nations in peculiar ways: The NWT is mired in deep dysfunction. The people stubbornly cling to
sexist traditions that actively hindered war efforts against the Fire
Nation. We witness this with Sokka's chauvinism early in the book, and now with the Northern ideology.
They refuse to adapt and learn about their enemy, preferring to
retreat behind their own frozen walls. As a result, they are ill-prepared when the Fire Nation navy arrives at their doorstep, and would have fallen to the ensuing siege if not for the timely interventions of the show’s protagonists.
Through external and internal factors, the Water Tribes have become
fragile and rigid - uncharacteristic for societies based on the element
of *change.*
Damn, that's deep.
Bobby Magnus Shiit man.
They should call themselves the Ice Tribe now then.
I'm pretty sure the NWT ignored the SWT when they were getting raided by the Fire Nation as well.
Well that's true but Sokka's friction with competent and powerful girls is caused by his insecurities about his own masculinity. And that came to be as he was the only man in his own village
I love how they were celebrating Avatar Aang coming to their tribe. They have no idea that every place Aang goes to, gets all fucked up.

One of my favorite episodes from the series, this is the episode when I started thinking "Damn, Katara is a badass."
Ikr.
The Avatar that was in the Kyoshi episode was actually named "Kyoshi", and she was an earthbender, not a waterbender.
She IS a waterbender ;)
And an airbender...
and a firebender.
You know what I meant. She was *originally* a earthbender, from the Earth Kingdom.
I think it was a reference to the first (or second? Not sure) episode of Legend of Korra xD
@@Arkayjiya Second
Katara : "I don't wanna heal, i want to fight!"
Mickey : "No one ever wants to play the healer"
One point Mickey... too true!!!
this is the episode that made me fall in love with water bending when I first watched it :)
This is the episode that made me fall in love with Katara AND waterbending XD
The Katara/Pakku fight is one of my favorite fights in the first half of the ATLA series!!
I love Katara's line:
"You can't knock me down!"
Then he did. Lel
good call on the necklace before the reveal
and that pakku vs katara fight is still as good as the first time i watched it
One of my favorite fight scenes from the series, stands as a testament to just how far Katara has come as a waterbender in a short amount of time. Remember, this was a girl who could barely bend a sphere of water and accidentally froze Sokka instead of the Fire Nation soldiers, now she's holding her own against Pakku.
well said
Rana is water, Suraj is earth, Micky is air and Nahid is fire!
Micky is earth, Suraj is definitely air.
Photoshop your stupid
Spurs,giants and Oregon Fan You’re*
Photoshop Air nomads apparently have great senses of humor. That’s definitely more like Suraj
Rana Water, Suraj Water, Micky Air, Nahid Fire
“Are we here? I think we’re here. We’ve done it.”
I love how you guys act and talk like you’re on Team Avatar
You guys have only gotten a glimpse, Katara is the baddest BAMF to come out of the water tribe.
Nahid: i think they look old like grandmas
Me: LOL
Rana: "Go cry about your nephew. What are you doing?!"
Also Rana: "I knew uncle wouldn't be like that."

Katara be like ... CASH ME OUSSIDE, HOW BOW DAH?!
Chai Tea lol
Chai Tea shut up lol
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha you killing me cant get this out of head anymore haha
Except Katara is full of win and sugar.
The zoom-in reactions have me dying.
water is the best element xD
I agree. For me it would be Water > Air > Earth > Fire
to be honest all elements are cool, if I would have anyone would be cool to me :P, but I prefer this order
water > fire > air > earth.
i put fire in second because fire is badass xD
Fire is the weakest
I think air just slightly (and I'm talking slightly) beats it out. Air > Water > Earth > Fire
I think Air is probably the best.
The editing in this 😂😂
When I watched Blind Wave watch it, sometimes I wondered if they (mainly Eric) had actually watched a few of them before hand.
The more I watch the Normies.... I am CERTAIN they have not watched it before.
+1angrykoala
Don't you mean Aaron? Because Aaron is the one that has already watched some of the episodes. It is completely blind for Eric and Shane
+Scar
Normies have called out a couple things, but Aaron calls out something big at least once every episode. I honestly think he forgot he watched those episodes, so he thinks he's just making honest predictions.
@@ximienlum3089 Aaron does that in a ton of reactions. Like he'll call out shit in shows that there's no way he'd be able to just guess. He's definitely lying when he says he's never watched a lot of the shows they react to.
Slim Brady it’s a kids show. A lot of shit the happens is quite predictable.
@@kagani6202 Exactly

Well they are in the north pole, the ice is there cause the place is cold, its not that the ice makes it cold, so fire would not be able to melt it as well. Also i think in the world of avatar Fire and water are more opposites.
Fire vs Water = Fire goes out and water evaporates.
but what would happen if waterbenders werent able to do waterbending?????
If only the show would answer that question!! ;)

They actually did show how Zuko survived for a split second during the explosion he is seen putting himself in a ball of fire to tank the blast
The edits have gotten so good and the close ups are hilarious
18:38
I was really creeped out by her looking at the screen...like, I thought she was staring at me and it really had me shook when she started pointing at the screen like she could see me! 😅
I also wanted the dragon first, until I saw Appa headbutt and airbend in the episode with the eyeless anteater, Appa was badass in that and I immediately wanted him.
Iroh: why don’t you join me?
Zuko:..............
Iroh: or just stay there
Oh fuck yeah! Season finale is gonna be lit; and Katara is a badass Rana
Katara = GOAT
I remember when I Rana was like the water tribe sucks now she loves them
I get so much LIFE from these back tuh backs. Thank you again guys.
Lmao i love those close ups hahaha
cant wait for the finale and book 2
ΒΙαziκeη If you become a patreon you can watch all of that today.
I watched all episodes up to the swamp so dont worry
That blue spirit reveal thoe
The pan-out on the Fire Nation's fleet gives me chills every time.
I think these two episodes maybe were the best of your Avatar reactions so far. You all seemed to be in good spirits.
It’s so funny to watch you guys react, I’m so intrigued
So you mentioned how you wish that you could've seen how Zuko survived the explosion. If you pay attention during the explosion scene, you see it register in his face right before the explosion and then if you watch the flames, he bends the flames around him in a sphere, you can see them part around him
Katara got her ass whoop. But she will learn thanks to the master and her skills.
The editing was on point. Props to the editor
Yes I have been waiting for you guys to start watching this show again
Nice one as always guys!
In playing devil's advocate for the Northern Water Tribe...
There's a couple things to keep in mind when viewing this situation. Firstly, we are viewing the dispute from Katara's point of view. She is the only water bender from the southern tribe. She has had to muddle along without a teacher for years, and use her abilities in many ways just to get by. Both fighting and healing have been necessary, with no tradition, culture, or philosophy to build upon or guide her actions. Coming in like this to a society that is 1) not constantly on the edge of collapse due to the war and low population 2) has prospered over the last one-hundred years and does not lack for benders, and 3) possesses a strict culture built on a solid foundation... It's quite a culture-shock on both sides. To Katara it is unfair.
To the Northern tribe, this little 14-year-old girl who has clearly gone through intense, traumatizing situations is spitting on their civilization and way of life. She is a child, and they are adults. When your kid starts to yell and break things, it is called a temper tantrum. Any good parent would not give into such behavior. And, as a fourteen-year-old (almost a woman in their eyes!) she is expected to behave better. The negative impression of her is not simply "because girl. hur-hur."
The primitive - if magical - nature of the world is something else to consider as well. Historically, women were forbidden from fighting because they couldn't keep up with men. Men have greater bone density, and lower nerve density. This means that it is harder to break our bones, and we actually(scientifically) do feel pain to a lesser degree than women. On top of this, men have somewhere around 40% more muscle mass in their upper body on average. When combat consists of swords, spears, armor, etc... and farming means people out in the fields with tools(not riding tractors or airplanes to spray fertilizer... these add up to a huge advantage on either field. Bending levels the playing field a LOT. Yes, it does. A LOT. But, this is still the mindset that the Avatar world is in. The American Military has done extensive research on the topic in an effort to find the most effective soldiers available.
This isn't even taking into account pregnancy and the desire to protect the next generation. And yes, I know Katar wasn't pregnant. But, as a woman she can become so eventually.
It's a cold and hard and unemotional argument(much like the frozen glacier upon which their society is built). But, it has merit. And, before anyone starts calling me an asshole: Katara's a badass. She kicks ass with the best of them. Good for her. I can only dream of being a water bender(seriously, water bending is overpowered as hell).
AND! For those who think I'm trying to make some sort of political statement and say "it's logical to oppress the women!" That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying "Given the circumstances, the Northern Water Tribe's attitude is understandable."
Now... midnight snack time... **wanders off to the kitchen**
"Devil's advocate" just say you're sexist and go lmao. All those laws of the real world don't even apply here because of BENDING. It's literally a superpower ffs, that not all people have no less. You're just ruining your chances of building a good military by reducing your forces in this world based on baseless sexism ; if anything both men and women should've been taught to fight and heal for the most effective output. Also, in the Fire Nation, there is greater gender equality, women were encouraged to fight and take powerful positions as well, that's one of the reasons why they were the most advanced of all nations. While the Water Tribe couldn't do shit to protect themselves when the Fire Nation arrived at their doorstep, they paralyzed themselves from their rigid laws and that's what makes them a backward society. There's literally no merit to it in this world, please shut up.
Nana
Men and women aren’t equal. It’s ok to be sexist.
@@FirstLast-wu1gl he didn't say that at all so re read what he wrote its rules in the middle east that's not fair and you can't do anything about it.
Yes😊

Katara is QUEEN
ummm I like playing the healer ;)
Robert Bradburn I'm going to go stand in some fire , just for you.
Pakku is a awesome waterbender
wtf I literally just started watching the show a few days ago and you guys are too! Now I have to watch all the reactions. EDIT: just realised you've been doing these videos for like 2 months now.
Ayyyy so much litness is about to happen. Also, it's like I think Tsunade from Naruto said. A healer needs to be OP because they aren't allowed to die. Cuz then who will heal if the healers get killed and can't fight back?
awesome can't wait for the next reaction...it's the only thing I look forward to every week
I'm so excited for you guys to watch the final 2 episodes, y'all are gonna fucking love them haha.
Gotta love dem random close ups 😂😂😂
"Sokka deserves a little vacation, he's had it rough" lmao you have no idea
One thing that I just thought of while watching reactions. The Deserter said that powerful Waterbenders have healing abilities... Is it the powerful ones that gain it without training or is The Northern Tribe not only excluding women from battle, but at the same time excluding some of their most powerful benders?
a bit of a plot hole
So PUMPED to watch your reaction for the finale. Y'all are NOT PREPARED.
awesome reactions :3 I honeslty like it best when it´s just the four of you
Damn the more you talk about it the more I want HBO to make a short mini series of avatar

One of my favorite fights in the whole series.
Triggered! Rana called Fire Nation, Fire Tribe lol but great reaction as always, next part is the best part :D
Haha I love how offended Rana was for Appa when Nahid was saying Roku had a dragon
so 2 episodes every wednesday? wish it was 2 days a week hehe ;-;
I am so pumped about the two part ending and season two!
hopefully at some point you all went back and took another look at the explosion that destroyed zuko's ship this episode. there are clearly a few frames where zuko is putting up a fire barrier.
This was my favorite episode! As a kid idk i loved the waterbenders and the water tribe. Katara had her moment of redemption!
siege of the north part 2 is my favorite ATLA episode you guys are in for a real treat
can't wait for next week!!!!
Can't wait to see y'all's next reaction this is one of the Avatar series most popular episodes but you still haven't seen the best of it yet :)
If you mean the next 2 episodes. They've already seen it/them...
Oh are those uploaded already?
Yeah, they are uploaded to patreon to people who pay to see them first, so they are already in 2x3/4 episodes
It’s crazy looking back, uncle truly never wanted Zuko to capture the avatar... instead he wanted to use this journey to allow to find his true self !
P.S i wonder what would’ve happened if zuko actually did capture the avatar and was on the door steps of the fire nation capital.. what would iroh have done
"And now the Fire Nation is going to kill everybody" That killed me x,D
cant wait for next week now!
Rewatching this cause other channels are starting avatar 😂 guys this is still so good 🥰
Zuko made a fire shield in the last minute which protected most of him before he flew into the water
Yooo I can't wait to so you guys react to the next season it's really good!
This is genuine reactions.
it would just be helpful if every water bender trained in fighting and healing
The fact that you guys are basically voicing my thoughts on sexist water bending from when I first watched this episode is amazing
I'm like #1300! also keep up the great work guys!
While they should have a choice as to whether they want to or not, there should be a division of skilled healers in a war.
The lady in episode you guy was talking.
She is Avatar kyoshi.
yes uncle iroh knows it was the general who try to kill zuko.
Hype for the finale!
Avatar fans, you know what to hype for!!!
