Were Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl Actually Friends?

Together, Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, and Krist Novoselic comprised the band Nirvana. With releases like Nevermind and In Utero (with Bleach before Dave), you'd think the three would be inseparable. But there's a growing belief among fans that near the end Kurt couldn't stand either of them, and the only thing keeping them together was the band. Courtney Love would later emphasize Kurt's hatred of Dave in a MySpace post, but she was in a feud with him at the time. The only reputable source for Kurt's feelings on Dave is Kurt, so we'll likely never know.
