I love this channel so much. It's wonderful to see someone cover my home state. It looks like you guys have fun doing it to. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your content.
I know, right? This channel kicks ass especially being in metro Detroit Michigan and seeking a fun. I love the music in this presentation, the tedious tune jingles my ringle
I REALLY appreciate how respectful you are in the cemetery. We have a local one that is know nationally as one of the most haunted, and jacka**es from all around come and are so disrespectful in it. Well done.
Damn I miss Studio 28!! I grew up right by it so we used to walk to it to catch a movie. Hit the arcade. We'd go everyday during the summer. Rockford dam is really nice. My kids like seeing all the turtles all over the rocks by the waterfalls. And the town has little music festivals up there during the summer. It's cool to see some places I've been on this video.
I walked to the Ada cemetery with a friend once down a 4 wheeler path in the woods. Dnr stopped us and asked how we liked the cemetery. I told them it was a bit disappointing lol. He agreed. Said it used to be much nicer.
Hell's Bridge doesn't make any sense. People can't take a second and think, "Why would a town leave one guy in charge of all the kids?" There are older folks with mobility issues who can't go walking through the woods but could still watch the kids. A few pre-teens might be too young to go out but could watch the kids. Now if they said he snuck away from the search, came back and the did his murdering... that would be more logical than a whole town deciding that leaving ALL their kids with ONE person was a good idea. But he'd have to kill the babysitters too, and... Oh... Am I writing a movie?
Studio 28 was the place to be in Wyoming til I graduated and moved away in 1982. It actually expanded AFTER 1982 I believe and enjoyed another strong 20+ years I think. It's fun to reminisce - thanks.
I once drove my friend down to Findlay Cemetary, wrapping a Darth Vader breathing effect speaker with a sock in the back seat. I told them the story of the witch as we pulled up, then turned it on when we left. Pretended not to hear the heavy breathing. Soon enough: "Guys...?Do y'all hear anything?" "No?" We played dumb and I turned it off for a bit. I can't exaggerate how far she leaped forward in the car when I turned it on again. Perfect prank on the perfect night. To this day, she refuses to go anywhere with us at night haha
Aw things that go bump in the night. We love to see scary things, we love the goose bumps that they provide. Our imaginations are in full creative mode when the setting is just right. However even though we find it hard to believe that they truly do exist, a mounting body of pictorial evidence both past and present is growing leading to some very interesting head scratching. Special effects are getting so good you can hardly tell if it is live or is it Memorex? I will follow Ronald Reagan's advice; Trust but Verify. Till then I will not be taking any midnight strolls thru graveyards anytime soon.
Restless. I live in a small town named Morrice MI In this town on a road named Scribner , is this cemetery with headstones that are said to glow I know this because I used to live near this cemetery and hear random screams , and truckloads of teenagers, stopping by and asking if it’s true. A trip to the cemetery is actually quite sad as you can see whole families were wiped out by I’m guessing the same sickness. One after the other. So if you’re ever on I 69 It’s worth stopping by. This legend has to be 100 years old. And just so I get credit ( because I’m petty like that😅.). S.I. 85 acres on scribner B/t Bradon and lovejoy. If anyone knows more, or has seen it, please respond
MAN. i spent A LOT of time in studio 28. back when movies were good and they didnt cost much. hang out with my friends and watch 2 movies and have dinner to together at studio 28
A good cemetery story might come from an old cemetery on the east side of Ionia. I don't recall the real name but when I was in high school (graduated in 1981) the name we knew was "Mini-Ha-Ha". We used to hang out in that cemetery on Friday nights. We were never destructive. It was just a place to hang out and have a few beers w/o being bothered by the police. Rumor has in that certain statues in the cemetery would "cry" blood during full moons, and the mausoleums were/are haunted. The cemetery is roughly 20-25 acres and sits up very high on a hill, overlooking M-21. I didn't live in Ionia so I am sure that there are many stories to be told about this old cemetery that I have never heard. One particular Friday night back in 1981 or 1982, a bunch of my friends and I were walking around the outer drive of the hill that the cemetery sat on. There was snow on the ground and there was a full moon that night. Other than the large shadows cast by the trees, the cemetery was lit up by the moon. I had stopped next to large tree to "relieve" myself (too many Strohs beers) and through the wind whistling in the large pine trees I heard something somewhat quietly growling. My friends had kept walking so I was standing there alone. I didn't stick around to find out what it was that was growling at me. I quickly finished my business and ran back to my friends. Flash forward 25 years....I drove my 3 (young at the time) kids through the cemetery. I told them of how my friends and I used to hang out there on Friday nights. It was the middle of the day and the kids were terrified....lol. Haven't been back since.
Lol, I worked at the tannery in 1971, Guy was working in the maintenance department. I last saw him at the Lakeside Inn in Sand Lake. He didn't recognize me at first. I heard from a friend at work who lived near Baptist Lake and knew Guy that he had been in a fight with a chainsaw. Small world Chuck.
Another less known ghost story of the area is the Conservation Rd. ghost. I grew up in Lowell and we spent many nights driving Conservation Rd with the headlights off looking. 😂
So far, I have not experienced anything I would call a ghost. I have seen some really strange things, though, things that don't have practical explanations. I just say there's forces that aren't catalogued, controlled, or measured.
The Ada witch has moved north of 5 mile into the Cannonsburg State game area. I’m a retired senior and my buddies and I did some gummy’s for our arthritis of course and we walked in the state game area and we saw the witch nice lady though.😂

It saddens us to know that some people have to be destructive to fulfill their fake thrills.

I love seeing places I know in these videos. Thank you so much for sharing these stories with us - and debunking them!
Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Looking forward to future exploring your channel.

"I had a roommate who was a poltergeist once." Which would have been an improvement over some of mine.
🤣😂🤣
That was hysterical when your son said “HELP”! Lol been there 👍👍

A haunted place in michigan based in history, would be the tale of dungeon swamp in newaygo country. about the family feud and murders.
Tell me more I live about 20 minutes from Newaygo and I’ve never heard of this
@@MedicinalMagic Yeah its more up by white cloud, but its easy to look up on youtube theres a few podcasts on it.

Old friend is resting in Findlay since 2001, rip DJN
I can say the ada witch story dates back to at least the early 90s as I' heard that tail in lowell around then.
I've heard that the Comstock Park cemetery is haunted by civil war
Hauntings are fun to pretend. Ghost stories are enjoyable at Halloween. But no, ghosts are not real.
Who is Vixion ?? Good story.
Happy Halloween to you and Poppins .
"Vik"ing's "son" - vikson. That's Noah!

Grew up two miles upstream from where your standing.
Nice! I grew up 15 miles east of the headwaters of the Rogue!
Are you related to Guy Hayden by chance?
