- Temporary hair dyes can be an easy, low-cost way to switch up your hair color without the use of harmful chemicals. We tested four kinds of temporary hair dye: Good Dye Young Poser Paste, Gemini Naturals Get Hued, Manic Panic Dye Hard, and Mofajang.
Producer Nico puts four temporary hair dyes in different price ranges to the test to find the best one. She tests the dyes on color payoff, transfer-proofness, and how easily they wash out. In the end, she ranks each temporary hair dye from best to worst.

Suggestion: Maybe next time use the same color for each dye. Then we would really be able to tell which one works best.
And really let the dye dry before a color test

And i think she should give them all the same test. The first one got the best pay response because her hair was the freshest for that try. She had already washed and put in multiple colors by the time she got to the last one. So Ofcourse it was her least favorite.

I like that she’s doing it because a lot of colors only work on light colored hair and if you are brunette (like me) you’d have to bleach your hair and these are supposed to be fast.

I dont think this was a very good test because
1) some of these products clearly state "to be used on damp hair"
2) you should have done the tests on separate days, seems sketch that the order you applied the dyes was the exact order they got in their final ranking
3) I think that electric pink looked really nice on you lol

Obviously maybe the two in the middle were switched, but it would be weird that they did that.
Furawa Gal yeah, that’s a great point, but still she could have tried all of them first and only after filmed the “first I tried” stuff. I mean, she could have talked as she applied the dyes, but there is a whole separate scene of her just talking, with no dye. Those are the clues that make me feel like first they filmed her trying everything and then made the extra parts. But maybe this video really is made all in that exact order. I don’t know. I just suggested that maybe it isn’t.

She rinsed it before she started just because it looks dry doesnt mean it is. You could be swimming and sometimes curly hair will look dry when its actually soaking wet

When you see her washing her hair in the sink, her curls droop down which is what her hair looks like when it's wet, before she applies the product it's kind of obvious her hair is dry as her curls bounce up, and frizz Is starting to form on her scalp.
I'm not a professional though, but I have 3b-3c hair and that's what I notice when my hair is wet. Her hair is damp and most, but definately not wet

Mofajang is supposed to go on damp hair period. I’ve used their dye in three different colors and it clearly says on the instructions to use on damp hair. Your not supposed to use it on dry hair

Yeah, I also felt like it was kinda biased because she didn’t use the same color for all the brands. Like with the Manic Panic, red is usually know for staining things easily (at least compared to the other colors) it gave an unfair advantage for colors that don’t stain as easily.
Manic panic was me fav! It complimented her so well and actually looked natural!
i’m so glad you did this with dark, curly, thick hair. i’ve seen a few videos likes this with blonde straight thin hair and of course the color is going to take well.

I've tried the manic panic and Gemini Naturals get hued, and the Gemini Naturals one was better by far! I've tried on damp and dry hair and both her pretty easy to apply, but my favorite way was applying damp in sections (looks really natural) and then adding a bit more on dry hair for some vibrant pops. Glad I'm not missing out! I'll just buy more colors from them!

I use it while my hair is still damp and apply it along with a curl cream and dry it with a diffuser and it makes my hair extra curly and it doesn’t feel crunchy. Also it doesn’t transfer as much

Yes you have such a natural beauty. Your due comparison was really great and informative. I'm the same and dont use any permanent dyed but prefer semi permanent that comes out with each wash. I use Natural Instincts. I liked the second one example. Thanks for doing this video for us.

I bought the gold mofajang and applied it to my curly hair. And used water to run it through better. I let it air dry and it defined my curls beautifully for a party. I went to bed with it in my hair without any transfer to the pillow. I think your hair needed more time to dry and sometimes looked like some product was heavier on some of your curls....
But great video! I only knew of two of those products and I'm super excited to hear Hailey Williams has hair products!

Tried manic panic for the first time this week. Ordered from amazon and was surprised by how small the container was and thought oh heck no - no way that’ll cover my whole head of medium long hair - surprised me - it got the job done with half the container woahh yay now I have this cool dark purple look
5:30 tbh all these colors looked so cool in your hair. i like the way it... toned it and sort of kept your original. it made them all match you pretty good without the color looking messed up for your skintone.

The green dye would probably work if you were doing a 'Forest Nymph' cosplay! It turns ur naturally curly texture to that of like a soft forest moss, and adding some bright flowers, and some fae eyeliner would've probaby looked really nice!
