Homemade granola bars
Ingredients:
2 tbsp chopped roasted almonds
2 tbsp roasted pumpkin seeds
1/3 cup dark chocolate (85% cocoa) chopped
1 cup natural organic creamy peanut butter
2/3 cup honey
2 and 1/2 cups of quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 tsp sea salt
Recipe:
In a large bowl add your 1 cup of natural organic peanut butter and your 2/3 cup of honey and blend it all together. Now add your two and a half cups of quick cooking rolled oats and your chocolate your almonds and your pumpkin seeds and blend everything until it's all combined and the oats are all absorbed in the peanut butter and honey. Get a baking tray I used a 9x9 inch and line it with parchment paper. Take your granola and add it on the parchment paper in your baking tray and push it down till it meets all the ends. If it doesn't reach all the way to the end it's okay. Then lay a piece of parchment paper on top refrigerate it for at least one and a half to two hours then remove it from the refrigerator and slice it in granola bars or bite size pieces. And stored in the refrigerator.
