The glass was clearly gimicked, you can easily tell. Marty was trying to work you guys and succeeded.
I'd be shocked if it wasn't sugar glass or something similar. Real glass, as CM Punk will tell you, is just a bad idea to work with. Way to unpredictable.
You just need to watch a Jun Kasai match to see what real glass does.

I tripped and fell through a real old style glass window & it didn’t really cut me much. Got really lucky. So Marty’s story is possible.

Marty shouldn't have been begging for rides to Wrestlemania, he should have taken a cab and left them the bill ala Jamie Dundee. Speaking of which, when are we getting a Jamie Dundee episode? His ties to wrestling and him being a fixture on Jerry Springer would make for a great episode.
Jamie Dundee's affinity for the n word probably makes him not an ideal choice.

I also favored marty. Playing at recess, we would pretend we were the rockers.. i was always marty : ) . I remember just crying my eyes out when they broke up.
Same. I think up until 1991, alot of people thought Marty was the better of the two. By 1991, Shawn had really started, IMO, getting better than Marty in the ring and just in charisma and facial expressions.
I always thought Matt Borne was Dark Side's Endboss. I think that episode opened alot of people's eyes as to what a total scumbag human being Borne was.
I'd say Grizzly Smith would be the endboss, I had heard bits of the pedo stuff but sadly that didn't seem that uncommon with wrestling in the south, but the stuff about being tied to Jakes oldest sisters murder was next level.
If you think Matt Borne was a scumbag, what would you think about Hardbody Harrison? Or Juana Barraza who murdered at least 30 people, though possibly up to 50? I wonder if DSotD will ever have the balls to cover these people, because they absolutely got no redeeming features and the crew can't twist stuff around like they did with Bam Bam Bigelow (leaving out his first prison stint, that he raped a woman twice and even changing the mexico story from the truth (he was sent there to murder the mother and kidnap the child) into fiction ("rescue mission" lol), Bigelow was a horrible and he was always honest about it (going so far as saying that if it wasn't for wrestling, he'd either be dead or on death row)

Yep he was,but if it wasn't for Matt Borne's love for underage girls we wouldn't have ever had the Road Warriors. Him and Arn Anderson were brought in to be the tag champs in GCW. But it didn't happen because the police in Atlanta were looking for Matt to question him about a 13 year old. So Arn got pushed down the card and Ole went to Eddy Sharkey and got the Road Warriors. And WTF was going on in Portland? It's about as bad as Memphis. Buck Zummhoffe,Art Barr and Matt Bourne to name just a few

@isaiahpavlik1430 I'm not talking about his in ring "prime", I'm talking about his wild "party with Marty" shenanigans. It seems those really hit their prime in the 90s. I assume that's what the OP meant when he compared him to Bagwell.

I feel bad for Dan Mirade that had deal with Marty for weeks or hours at a time for his original show on MWF Boston Wrestling . Just a jittery, giggly, emotional mess. People like that make my nerves bad.

The glass was real. Although not "Plate" glass which is 6mm thick it looks to be 3 mm glass which is used in a lot of windows. You can tell by the way it looks after being broken it's real glass. Not Plexi nor sugar.
Why are the producers so mean and cruel like they have something personal against him
