Everything from #salmankhan and his sarcastic remarks, #akshaykumar and his reluctance with promotion for a film, #saifalikhan clearly hating a comedy & co actors refusing to shoot together like #shahidkapoor and #kareenakapoorkhan . Ajay devgan once said something on this " Jab aap script padhte ho to aap film ko imagine karte ho lekin kayin baar jab film ki shooting ho rahi hoti hai to product kuch aur hi nikalta hai"... that is why actors select some scripts but the lack of vision of directors those scripts can never turn out to be good films.

Ranbir too was honest and critical about Besharam in the promotion interviews and warned the audience that the quality won’t be as good as his last release YJHD.
He was even skeptical about jagga jasoos. He also made it clear (in the aib podcast) that he won't collaborate with Basu again.
@@shivanshtripathi976 the promotions of Jagga Jasoos were awkward as hell but the movie itself was pretty good tbh! This style of cinema is new for indian viewers in my opinion. I watched the movie and I thoroughly enjoyed the weirdness, the quirkiness, the suspense and the beautiful picturization

Ranbir's criticism were not related to the film though, it was majorly related to the sheer unprofessionalism from Basu's side which resulted in long delay of the film (as it affected him financially too since he was also the producer of the movie).

The ‘Madame Web’ lore is so fascinating but they really fumbled the bag. It’s meant to be fantastical. Also, Dakota Johnson is a delight whether she’s promoting something or not 😂

Abhay Deol is an oddball, yet I respect him because he was never bad with his work and had guts to showcase his views on several topics
Even during Acharya (Telugu) promotions, Koratala mostly avoided talking about the movie, rather he talked only about his previous or future ventures.
And during Radhe Shyam promotions too, Prabhas and Pooja weren't on talking terms, looked distant from each other
And by the way, I didn't know that there's a film called Madame Web with Marvel associating with it

I can totally see how Dakota and Co. were told they are in a Marvel movie and they must've thought they are working for a Marvel Studios film. But in reality its just a movie based on Marvel comic 😂. No wonder she fired her PR later. And I totally understand, for non superhero fans its tough to understand difference betweenwhats a Marvel production and what's a Marvel Studios production. I really feel bad for the fans. In the comicbook, Ezekiel Sims was gifted with Spider-Totem powers by a mysterious ritual, realized that his newfound abilities were comparable to those of Spider-Man. He even joined the Spider Society, aiding in the formation of WebCorps as a front. It's sad to see Sony sabotage good characters from the comics without a proper vision of their Spider-Man villains universe without Spider-Man (sounds stupid, tbh).

I think one compilation can be made for all movies of Akshay Kumar itself. There are several movies where he takes cut from profits but also when its not a good product he will distance himself knowing that it will not make money but at same time will reduce his star value if people keep that movie in memory.

Hi jammy, hats off to u man on bringing the real actor of the year randeep hooda on your channel interview program. I was yesterday so so upset and sad when i saw u and anupama mam discussing latest mediocre releases of hindi cinema and ignoring one of the very good movie Veer Savarkar released in the last couple of weeks. When an actor is putting his heart and soul on telling a story of an unsung national hero nobody in the film industry so called big names or big critics r staying away from randeep as if he has done some crime. The way u and anupama mam in the late take appreciated aadujeevitham s director and effort and their ambition all were noteworthy but no mention of Savarkar movie and the great actor randeep had badly hurt me and i believe so many but today i salute u for bringing the real hero randeep to the forefront who dared to bring our forgotten national hero Veer Savarkar to big screen. I hope bollywood come out of their bubble and start genuinely appreciating quality actors and quality work or else lifelong they will have to keep remaking south muvs. Once again thanks a lot jammy on bringing happiness and smile and a sense of pride in me while watching this interview with randeep. unverified fact and known only through insiders that Amitabh decided to stay away from any Brahmastra promotions was because apparently the first promo/teaser did not have his name in it and was thus rubbed off the wrong way. the production house and its owner in question are still trying to mend their ways with not just him but the family as well.

Recently Guntur Kaaram wasn't even promoted in anyway other than songs, posters and a trailer. They knew they were doomed lol. One Event and that's it. One interview after the release when film got negative talk. There was something so wrong in the making and guess we'll never know what happened.
The movie always had issues right from the beginning. From what could have been an action thriller, the movie underwent several changes, technicians getting replaced, one song getting scraped thanks to the heroes disapproval, Trivikram not fully investing his time to this, the movie was a disaster from the beginning.

Prithviraj - he had acted in a movie RANAM which was average at best, but it wasn't that bad either. But he ensured to bad mouth his own movie on interviews that it hurt his co-stars so much. In fact he said it this way, "Actors will have to act in such movies also!"

I cannot condone Abhay Deol's condemnation of 'Aisha'. I loved that film and I have read 'Emma' and seen 'Clueles, and 'Aisha' was amazing for me. Also what is wrong with a movie being about clothes? Mean Girls, Devil Wears Prada, Marie Antoinette and Clueless were all celebrated because of the clothes. I love him, but this was wrong
Bcs they weren't only about clothes. MG and DWP had interesting dynamic and conflict going on b/w the characters with amazing acting by the cast.
Aisha's maker only saw the fashion aspect of Hollywood movies and made it whole personality of the movie and above that they got Soonam Kapoor who can't act.
@@Vor567tez I disagree again. Emma is an extremely entitled person, and Sonam did a good job at displaying that and also going through a redemption arc to be a better and humble person. There are interesting dynamics in this movie as well, they are just more related to romantic relationship and friendship dynamics. Also the personality of the movie was Amit Trivedi's music- pure genius

I think it's disingenuous to imply that simply because they're Marvel characters being portrayed, that one shouldn't care whether Sony made Madame Web or whether Disney/Marvel made it.
Sony made this dumpster fire and others such as Venom 2 and Morbius.
People already are assuming that these are part of the Disney/Marvel canon and it's disappointing to see you be so dismissive of it as well when you could use this opportunity to educate your viewers on the difference.
Yes, Disney/Marvel made Thor: Love and Thunder but they've also delivered Guardians 3, Wakanda Forever, Moon Knight, Werewolf By Night, Wandavision, Shang-Chi, Loki Season 2 not too long ago. All fare that I can vehemently argue that Sony isn't capable of producing at this point.
To just sum them all up as 'Marvel bad' is unfair to the actual good movies that Disney/Marvel has made.
By all means, criticize Disney/Marvel for their misfires ( Thor Love and Thunder being one of them or The Marvels or Secret Invasion ) but I think it's important to make the distinction between the studios as well. I'd also go as far as to say that even the worst Disney/Marvel film/show isn't as terrible as something like Morbius or Madame Web.
Marvel is producing bad movies/shows if you ask me. They have been creating mess like love & thunder, She-Hulk,etc. They haven’t been the same since the Endgame.

It would be wrong to assume that both the actors and directors were always on the same page.
As you mentioned, in the movie Jung, the producer was a stickler for sticking to a budget. And, in Sanjay Gupta's interview, he had actually told them to shoot the remaining sequences between Juhu and Lokhandwala - not beyond those boundaries.
However, kudos also to the producer for releasing a movie without its actors, director and even script writer, It Must have been flattening for them to see a product that became hot despite all odds.
The actors are paid huge amounts , close to maybe 50% of the movies budget.
It , but is the only ethical thing to do , is to promote the movie you've been paid so much for .
Otherwise, return the signing amount .
That nobody will do .
Make a video on weird marketing promotion done by actors that worked and that did not worked !
If the actors think these movies are not going to work in the box-office then why did they commit to the role 🤔🤔

I mean sometimes the narration and script looks and sounds promising but while shooting they realise what a shit show its gonna be.
Wish actors and technician have some input on the screenplay and scenes, because after working in several films, actors know what works and what doesn't, and not knowing when you are in hot water for the choices you are associated with. That hurts careers in a long run
contract , maybe they find it engaging while signing but end result disappoints

for a film in 1971. The film went on till 1976 till the director left. A new director came in & shot with Shatrughan Sinha & new actors
in 1980s & in 1993 (Big B didn’t return so they used a body double). Ultimately he film released in 2008.
