OUTSTANDING SOUNDTRACK!!!
The evil guy "Sato" was played by Yūsaku Matsuda, who is considered one of Japan's most important film actors. At the time of the recording, he was suffering from terminal bladder cancer. He already knew that he would not live much longer and yet he delivered this incredible performance.
He died on November 6, 1989 at the age of 40 from the effects of his cancer, just over a month after the premiere of Black Rain.

Black Rain 1989 upscaled to 4K from the Blu-ray version, with no DNR used. Edited and color graded in HDR and Dolby Vision. 4000 Nits. Although UA-cam currently doesn't support Dolby Vision, the video is HDR compatible. If UA-cam ever supports Dolby Vision in the future, this video should play in Dolby Vision as intended.
- Watch in HDR for best results! Watching this in SDR may produce colour inaccuracies due to the way UA-cam converts HDR to SDR.
