What's the little exclamation triangle that is above the shift bars? A warning light of some sort? It's also on in my car, is it something to worry about?
Serious question for you. I noticed in your system, lights, you have the same as I do, 3 way blinker and the mirror lights. Just like mine...My first 2006 M5 had daytime running lights as well, BMW said they all should have them in '06, they thought maybe someone had done some different computer programming on my car..What gives, you know anything about this? I really see no need for the lights then other to flash when you pass etc....any thoughts?
I think you can chose s6 in the m menus by turning DSC off in the setting then the s6 will appear because as you said s6 will not appear until the traction is off in the setting you are turning the DSC on you need to turn the traction of to make s6 appear so with this trick with the M button you will access to s6 quickly Sorry for my bad English

7:40 you could have just said, go to DSC settings in the menu and switch it to DSC "OFF'. no need to do anything on the gear selector console.

that's a warning that you have completely disabled the traction control. so be careful.

for sure, these gearboxes in the SMGIII are 7 speed. The Manual gearbox is 6 speed.
