I heard you say you are on one of the CT forums. Do you ever post on there? I've never seen anything, and your knowledge on the Cybertruck could help a lot of people. Nice job on the videos!
Im on one, but please feel free to share
This car is a money maker for us as a auto detailing biz lol since it’s not like a fridge needs a lot maintenance lol 💰

Great series, thank you. I will definitely try this on my Cybertruck. How would you treat the glass?
Like any other glass, clean it and coat it.
Great video. As per the panel prep do you do the same with Alcoa rims and diamond plate… wipe till towel doesn’t stay black?
Thanks
Yes I do!
Hey man just a quick question about your DIY detail iron remover. Is it safe for use on older rubbers and plastics? I have a 1997 toyota corolla and the current iron-removing clay lubricant that i have hasnt been the nicest to my cars exterior rubbers and trims. When i checked the bottle later it said "not to be used on older plastics"😂😅. so i am looking for an alternative that is safe for older vehicles too.
Yes, absolutely
Hello. I put metal ceramic on my Cybertruck last weekend, it worked great really happy with the results. This weekend I washed it with rinse less wash, and wanted to apply ceramic gloss. It came out pretty streaky and splotchy. Did I use too much perhaps? How can I fix?
Did you follow the instructions on dilution ratio of 256/1? Too much can cause streaks especially on a cybertruck.
@@diydetailofficial I think so, 4 caps into my bucket. I think the streaks came after the ceramic gloss. Appreciate the reply.
I do dealer prep what best way to clean it they gave me there cyber sheld what your thoughts on it
Never heard of cyber shield
Do you have any recommended detailers in the Austin, Texas area that use your detailing principles, methods, and products? I'd like to keep the stainless steel look if possible.
Ask in our facebook group, or do it yourself.

Talking about white seats. Toyota Tundra Capstone! Looks amazing but easily stained blue

What are your thoughts on the Everbrite - Protectaclear product versus metal ceramic coating?
It’s designed for aluminum.
@@diydetailofficial perhaps you saw the wrong thing - it says stainless steel - Everbrite is advertising it as a cybertruck kit - protectaclear
@andrewwhited-investinglife1735 it’s now advertised as such. Early adopters of the product are now starting to experience issues with delamination unfortunately.
@@diydetailofficial thanks for being so responsive dude! - buying rinseless shit from your website to give it a try :)
So I have water spot remover, panel prep, and iron remover. Will that be enough to remove everything off my paint in order to apply my ceramic coating? I know there is a spray wax on my car
i don’t have all clean sadly…
To remove all vestiges of the wax ideally you will polish.
so even with all clean on top of all the other chemical decon, there will still likely be some of the spray wax left on the paint that would interfere with the cross linking of the ceramic coating?
Yes
thx for the interesting video. Can you put a wax over the metal ceramic? 🙏🏼
Yes you can!
@@diydetailofficial 1 more question, how long does the metal ceramic work? Is it more resistant if you put, let say after a week, the 5y ceramic on top of the metal ceramic? (I guess that the normal ceramic will bond to the metal ceramic and stronger then a wax)
It's not for a car, but for high-end interior objects finished with non-ferrous metals. Want to give them the highest protection against fingerprints, little scratches, liquids with acids (like white wine) 🙏🏼
These vehicles look like something out of an 80s scifi movie. Not my cup of tea but interesting video guys.
Thank you.
basically selling product
Actually trying to prevent people from getting in over their heads
Can we use wheel acid to wash
I would not
when is the cybertruck kit coming out?
Not in the plans
7:24 note that the CT uses cold rolled steel, not hot
Thank you.
As always, the amazing stuff
Glad you think so!
You should have shown us the difference between products on the truck
Between what products?
@@diydetailofficial Bar Keepers + Widex... and Guest's products
We don’t use other people’s products on our channel
@@diydetailofficial the difference between Bar Keepers and Windex and your product then
@@diydetailofficial then (show us) how much better you claim your product is than Bar Keepers and Windex
What a gimmick of a vehicle. "Look at me"

Their stock is so beat down but they have 2 million trucks preordered, new models coming, highest margins and the least debt of all car companies. It takes balls to short that stock and risk falling in front of that freight train full of cybertrucks.
True
Those kids who know about the CyberTruck are actually an Extra reason to use the metal coating, cause they're gonna be leaving their fingerprints on the surface while admiring the CyberTruck haha

The knowledge shared here will be a boon to any detailer's business
Thank you.
Do Tesla drivers look after them cars ????
No more or less than other brands.
@@diydetailofficial 😎
No body who owns a cyber truck is washing it themselves
Wait for 2nd owner
False statement. My friend washes his.
Detailers need information too
The owner of this cybertruck definitely does wash it himself.
Not true, I washed my Cybertruck yesterday.
Absolutely ugly vehicle.
It’s definitely not for everyone.
First!!
Thank you.
So many videos on a vehicle very few will own. Desperate for content
Wrong, there’s 2 million + pre orders
Just trying to prevent people from making irreparable mistakes.
Theres so many videos on you tube detailing regular cars. All those tips and instructions will not help you with this one.
Let's move on from the Tesla
Last long form video, we just did 3 👍
