Rinskess wash on a towel works well for cleaning high spots after the fact. The day after I did the interior ceramic coating I saw my tablet style infotainment screen in the sun. It looked fine without the sun shining on it, but with the sun, it was very cloudy. I gave it another wipe down with a rinseless wash towel and it cleared it right up.
Okay, holy cow is the DIY line up incredible. I only use it for my own car and truck but take care of my parents & girlfriend's vehicles as well. I've been adding DIY products over the last few months and EVERY SINGLE one that I tried has gotten me excited on how well it works. Incredible suds? Awesome! The interior ceramic, is insane. Tree sap remover, gold polish, waterless wash, rinse less wash. And nothing smells of chemicals, all smell great! Thank you Ivan and Nick for putting together such an awesome line-up. Makes me tempted to get back into detailing for a living again!
Fun fact. The cybertruck doesn’t have traditional side impact door beams. It doesn’t need them. The stainless steel skin takes 70% of impact loads. The remainder is taken by the unibody. It’s a different approach to structural safety.
It was very funny of Nick since at 11pm he was past his beauty sleep😜😜😜😴😴😴 Nick now has learned that Yvan doesn't cut corners and doesn't leave anything out no matter the time.
What's the life expectancy of one application? I know that there are many variables the will affect durability (kids, high traffic, sun exposure if garage kept or outdoors), how often the vehicle is maintained, etc. But how long can I expect in a daily driver with maybe one adult passenger that's not a slob (LOL)? I'm looking to purchase this very soon. Never mind, just as I was about to send the comment, you answered the question @ 21:40 . Thanks.
I believe therexwasxan error on the voltage. The cybertruck does use 48v but it also has 12v. I believe some of the basic stuff, like interior lights, do still run on 12v.
You guys know I love this product and it is going strong for over a year in my daily driver. I am not a fan of the yolk but I also do not like flat bottom steering wheels. I like my hands at 5 and 7 on the steering wheel in the apex of a turn. Thank you guys for another good video!
Tesla has revised the steering wheels across all models to address delamination. My 2023 Y had that issue and Tesla replaced it under warranty with a revised unit.
Hi Ivan and Nick,I applied the interior ceramic to my vehicle about 4 months ago. How can you tell when the interior ceramic needs a boost? Great video by the way really enjoyed watching. Very educational. Thanks guys, great as always
Pro Tip: Coat the white surfaces FIRST. That way you are assured the applicator pads are clean and any missed marks, stains, or just plain dirt picked up from the darker areas to be treated does not show on the white. Otherwise a good video. I just used your ceramic product on my new C8’s dashboard yesterday.
Actually, most Tesla drivers use their phone as a keyless entry token, fully automatic, you can leave it in your pocket. The key cards are usually handled as a backup when the phone is empty.
True. The key card is just a backup. Since I bought my Tesla I’ve only ever used the key cards for the tint shop and even then it wasn’t necessary. They texted me and said I can remote start the car using the app when they wanted to move my car after it was done being tinted
Hey quick question. If I want the protection of your interior ceramic, but the gloss of a glossy interior dressing, would I apply your interior ceramic, then a glossy interior dressing?
Thanks for this video. How do you treat the windows interiorly after applying the interior ceramic coating? Which has more applications: your panel prep or your Rinseless Wash? What's the maintenance process after applying the Interior Ceramic coat? What products do you use? How frequently do you need to reapply the interior ceramic coat and the maintenance schedule? Can the Rinseless Wash be used prior to prepping the exterior for a ceramic coat?
Interior windows, simply clean. DIY Detail Rinseless Wash is more versatile.simply keep clean with DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect or DIY Detail Rinseless Wash. On high traffic areas once a year. DIY Detail Rinseless Wash can be used prior to a coating, but panel prep is the best choice.
We actually just recommend Rinseless Wash to prep for Interior Ceramic. Panel Prep is a bit too strong for vinyl and leather, we like to err on the safe side
My god was this an interesting and informative video!! Looking forward to coating my car (binge watching your videos on interior ceramic before I do mine). But tell me, why is Interior clean and protect recommended more than just continuing to use a dampened towel of rinseless wash for future cleaning once you’ve coated the interior (sorry if I missed that part of the video)?
Would you recommend charging clients before or after delivering your car detailing services to them? And is it a good idea to give them a tip option since you're delivering a service? Would love to know your opinion!
Can you tell me if it is ok at 50f to do rinseless wash and to use clay cloth with ceramic gloss what is the best temperature to do it i have no garage Thank-you love videos and podcasts
Hello DIY, I am an auto tech student and I detail on the side as a hobby. I plan on having an automotive repair/diagnostics business and I would like to add some paint correction and surface protection services. How does one go about becoming a dealer with DIY Detail? Thank you.
Hello DIY Detail. Do you have any tips/suggestions for making a car smell good? Is it as simple as just cleaning the interior thoroughly? Or is there something more your could do, like use an air freshener? I just don't find them lasting a very long time. Thank you.
Thank you @@diydetailofficial. What about the air vents. I have read you need to clean them about once a year? If it has to be cleaned do you have a product for this purpose? /Emil.
Good afternoon! After the carpets are cleaned with rinseless wash or interior cleaner and protect. What happens to the chemical that may linger on the fibers of the carpets?
Yvan, Nick if im getting ready to use interior ceramic in my truck is interior clean and protect a good cleaner for that or should i stick to rinseless cause it leaves nothing behind??
I have the interior cleaner, my only concern is if it's toxic. I have a toddler that touches everything and puts it in his mouth. Is the cleaner safe to use in areas he sits or should I just use only the rinse-less?
I don’t have experience with interior ceramic. Once the floor mats get dirty and I pressure wash them, is another application of the interior ceramic required?
How would you compare diy rinseless wash to rags to riches in order to pre-soak microfiber towels to dissolve any dirt and stop them to be hydrophobic. I know you may not answer this question because it’s completely different products. Let’s look this way. How would you rate on a scale 1 to 10 DIY rinseless wash for pre-soaking microfiber towels? Or All Clean
[Rant] I've been watching the Cybertruck videos solely out of curiosity. Hated pretty much everything about it, when it was introduced, and thought I'd take an actual look. To me, the exterior finish is unacceptable. Call me crazy, I expect the body panels to match. White, I repeat, white interior in a _truck_ says it all. From a driving perspective, can't see how the mumbo-jumbo steering has any predictability at all. Plus, the thing weighs, what, about seventy seven tons. Trying to picture its handling, given its sheer mass, as it tries to hop around a corner. Reminds in of a Golf R, one of the poorest handling new cars I'd experienced, but it sure was full of electronic doohickeys. Their relevance to the authenticity of an automotive experience is beyond me. Same goes for the Cybertruck. [/Rant]
I must say that interior ceramic is my least favorite product from your line of DIY. The final effect is disappointing on my mini cooper and the upholstery now looks dry out. Wonder if there was any damage done tbh from this product. And yes, I used everything suggested from this video. After all I spent over $300 on your products. At $50 I expected way better and less to worry about. Sorry, just an honest opinion. Wish I went with a different brand for interior.
Was your mini new or previously enjoyed? We have never had something like that reported ( and it’s a top seller). Having been in detailing over 40 years, I’ve often seen vehicles that have been processed by the auction or dealership have such issues. The products they use ( cleaners and dressings) harm the interior. Once the dressing is removed it looks horrible, and the only way to counter it is a dressing
@@diydetailofficial my last 3 cars were brand new. I have always used 303 automotive protection until yesterday when I tried ceramic coating spray. I cleaned the surface prior to applying ceramic coating.

Hi Ivan and Nick,I applied the interior ceramic to my vehicle about 4 months ago. How can you tell when the interior ceramic needs a boost? Great video by the way really enjoyed watching. Very educational. Thanks guys, great as always

What do you use to clean the applicator you are using for ceramic interior
just let it soak in a wash bucket with Rinseless or Incredible Suds or even All Clean in there, and then wash it and it won't come out hydrophobic
