Did y'all notice how quiet Dave was as he drove into yard at Memphis. It's a feeling like no other when you go through a live change. " Is this the right thing for me to do?" Hope things go well for you. I've really enjoyed your vlogs. God speed.
TBH a lot of people that are content creators on youtube get like that when they are about to make a big change, sense some are speculating he's going to be traveling cross country and doing vlogs and others thinking hes going to another company. But no one really knows in till he tells us, but whatever it is he has the thought of "what if" that no one likes the newer content he brings and the 10k-12k$ he made a month becomes half that or even lower. THATS what becomes so nerve racking to content creators and the main thing people need to realize is channels don't grow just from the "true fans" of theirs it grows with those who are new that come and like, sub, and share their content to bring in more people who have the same taste. The good thing for Dave is WHATEVER he does I'd still watch and on top of that if it isn't successful he still has his CDL's to fall back on.
I hope whatever he does continues to bring him up I actually enjoy watching his videos and I have to agree about him being so quiet when he drove into the yard I felt that. But I hope whatever you do brings you more success man! I'll continue to watch!
Not me when I hit the yard for Werner in 2011 in West Memphis I was so happy I was singing outloud I vowed to never be locked in a cab for pennies again and it wouldn't have mattered really how much money was to be made driving OTR wasn't for me! Nothing more than a moving jail cell! I was in the worst shape of my life physically and mentally and all I can say is if you can drive OTR you're a badass, I have never see hated anything more in my life!

Hopefully he makes a updated video sooner rather then later so we can figure out what he’s up to and what his plans on! So excited to figure see what he has planned.. I’m thinking either travel RV videos? I noticed he had his new gladiator and a new camper.. and he has his new motorcycle.. maybe he’s moving on from trucking and jumping on the travel vlogs? Maybe he’s going to become an owner op? Or maybe he got an offer to a better paying company driver job? Who knows, guess we shall see!! I’ve never worked for a big mega carrier, but I know once you have two years or more exp, you can easily find much better paying jobs. I’m on pace for $86,400 for the year so far and it seems to get better year after year.. so if he’s moving from a mega carrier to a better OTR job, that will be exciting as well.. maybe we will get to see some new scenery and less tractor supplies, lol.

I got terminated from CFI after driving for them for ten years without any accident. I was terminated for urinating on the side of the road. Some driver decided to snitch on me,It happened one week after Pandemic hits,I’m so glad they terminated me though because now I own three trucks and hired three former CFI drivers to drive for me. The drivers are happy because they can pick and choose what lane to run and I pay them better then CFI paid them.
You motivated me to get into something like this. I won’t ever forget your first video with CFI. Still would work for them… unless on your next video is a negative impact lol. We all go through changes and try new things. Hope for the best bud!

I dont blame him after the recent merges and changes in management they care more about the bottom dollar than theyre drivers. They are imposing harsh rules on the drivers and they are going the way of a cdl mill because they can train hire and recover cost and turn a profit faster with new drivers than experienced one because they dont have to pay them as much.

Thank you for giving me and the thousands of others who’ve watched your videos, countless hours of entertainment. And on a personal note, I wanted to thank you for giving the folks who don’t drive, a real look into our lives.

So after 5 months, how are you liking CFI? What are some of the pros and cons? They keep calling me asking me to try it out but I'm just hesitant

I'm waiting on my test which is a 6week wait which I'm on my 3rd but my process was fun met great ppl in school but going on the road was nerve racking. The maneuvers were easy for me at least but it was fun going to school. But I was able to do it online for the book portion.the yard where we drive is cool. Good luck fam. Hope you the best if you go through with it.
oh yea the road was nervous the college I went to had a road course where they were gonna teach us to shift the higher gears before the road but the police class was using it so we had to learn it on the road

It’s been a pleasure riding with you and I believe I’ve seen every one of your videos and it’s been fun. I drive with a mega carrier and I thought about switching to a different megacarrier but I don’t believe the grass will be greener on the other side. My plans have always beenTwo purchase my own truck in January and that’s what I will continue to do. Good luck and I will continue to support your future endeavors.

Jerry with Murphco Logistics was absolutely a great person to give me the chance to check it out the gig. Plus, momma doesn't like me being gone, she had enough of that when I was active duty. When I quit Knight Transportation 20 years ago it was because they were lying about getting me home and I had been gone for over a month. I just wanted a reset with the wife and kids and they wouldn't accommodate. Now I own and operate my own equipment and it has been very rewarding to build up my own company and not a mega carrier.
How's it been so far? I'm also planning on buying my own rig in a few months
@@albertovilla2181 with diesel prices high and per mile rates low it is a rough market. Many drivers jump on loads without doing the math and lose money. Be ready to sit and wait for loads when brokers won’t budge on cost. There are good rates to be found but many drivers take less which hurts future loads. Good luck out there!
It’s an amazing yet sad feeling going through a terminal entrance for the last time, everywhere I went had been an upgrade so I’ve never wondered if I’m doing the right thing but it’s still scary being in the unknown

If you remember from his last Q&A, he makes WAY more money on UA-cam than trucking. Maybe he's realized he can travel the country on his terms and make content and still make way more.

Maybe, but I think he's going to lose viewers if he stops making trucking content. He is a trucking channel after all. But it is possible though.
Well because of trucking is why he is making more money on UA-cam. I’ve seen people quitting trucking and their views went down a lot

He's not a rookie, not a veteran but not a rookie either...He's a smart guy, Dave knows that MANY trucking companies now more than ever are needing drivers post Covid....People aren't going back to work it seems 🤔
Trucking industry have need drivers way before covid. Trucking industry didn’t get hit hard with lay off due to Covid. Most people not wanting to go back to work probably weren’t in the trucking industry before covid. There’s a lot of reason trucking company need drivers and it isn’t cuz of covid.

I recently changed my trucking job and this new one is so much better. You never know unless you try. No good being loyal to these companies mate they don't care most of the time.
