Another good episode. If new to 4WDing, and would love to do more of the harder & technical tracks but you don't have the confidence, then I highly recommend joining a 4WD club or do a 4WD course. It's amazing how quickly you realise how little you know in the beginning. A couple of years ago, I accompanied a friend new to 4WDing, do a 4WD course (I was her +1), and even I (a seasoned 4WDer), learned a tip or two. 👍
It's nice to see all types of vehicles in that training is very-important to learn from experience people who have been there and done that, because overlanding is not something you just wake up and go do it, needs proper guidance and most of all safety comes 1st. Thank you very much again for this video tutorial.
You don't need an electric blanket (sure it is nice) ...but you only need a nice and fluffy duvet in the back of the bakkie bed ... and you are sorted. ... of course some sleeping socks won't hurt ... and neither would a cotton fleece beanie ... that's what I use.
Been to Quick Pitch earlier this year with the Suzuki 4x4 club. It was amazing!!! Brilliant bunch of guys running this outfit. Dedicated to teaching with passion. Frikkie is a trustworthy broker and I need to get in touch with him soon.
This was an amazing weekend! I’m for sure going to join the next one!! I’m moving over to Frikkie soon. Thanks for adding my Gv. Amazing video Adrian!!! Well done!!
Very interesting video! We also did this trail earlier this year. Did you go out to the rocky section? Also very interesting. Will be great to join on a trail in the future.
Please do you plan on coming to Uganda? It’s a good destination for overlanding and I do drive a Subaru Forester there! It takes me anywhere however much it takes a lot of precision! Though I would love you to enjoy the beauty of overlanding across the country of Uganda
Adrian thanks so much for that amazing video, very much educating, fun and it also reminds me of the beauty of overlanding and 4x4ing.Adrian is Ralph's Hilux a legend or a legend rs?
Thanks so much for the reply Adrian, so which means the roller shatter on the legend RS can be removed, when you want to fit a canopy as he did...The reason why am asking is because there is also a legend only that does not come with the RS.so that's what I thought, that's what he bought.
Nah not many. I see more dusters for MTBer and stuff like that, you won’t see many doing proper overlanding, more weekend exploring and General adventure like hiking etc
I hear ya... toyotas are the best for overlanding but overall cost and fuel prices here in EU ...ill opt for duster...poor man's landcruiser 😄😄😄 ...there are manny fans of duster here in eu for off road and overlanding...streets and mountin roads are way more narrow etc... it might get you a few more views and supporters😄😄
That’s what Frikkie drives, and he is loving it. We did all the obstacles in it just like the other vehicles 👌🏻 get what you like and what you can afford and build your adventures around it
Hey Lawrence; yah this was a good couple months ago! I can confirm the truck is now in good running condition and has done its first trip. The new episode will be out in a month or so, so stay tuned to follow its journey 👏🏻
Don't recommend Cross country to any of the overlanding guys. Honestly the worst Insurance you can get, I followed your advice but they give me more shit than any insurance I have ever been with, they have allll this fine print and always have excuses when it comes to paying out!
Hey buddy, do you mind passing on your number to me over on instagram as a DM and I can get Frikkie to give you a call and maybe see if he can help you 👌🏻
What a privilege to be your Broker and Friend....can't wait for the next get together....
Andy is Top Class 👌🏿👏🏿👏🏿👌🏿

Great video, back to the basics. People forget the basics sometime. Good to be reminded of them every now and again.
Can't wait to own a bakkie.
Fantastic video. Entertaining and extremely informative. What a great community!!!
This looks like a lot of fun. Its a must have experience
Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻
Training and exercise/practice is always a good thing with 4x4. I will definitely like it to join in a GTG next time
Andy seems like such a nice guy

Thanks Okeri, he has a Legend RS its quite a beauty!

His was quite a special one; it had all the RS features like Radar and the upgraded sound system but no Roller shutter. even though its actually an RS
awesome
Awesome video....question😄.. do your crew use dusters for overlanding?its quite popular so it would be cool to see duster on your channel...tnx

Great video nice
which exhaust is on that GD-6
We use Viper Exhausts on our vehicles
Hey, what do you think about the Mahindra Pick up? Do you think it will work just like a Toyota? Or any other 4X4 vehicle?
That’s what Frikkie drives, and he is loving it. We did all the obstacles in it just like the other vehicles 👌🏻 get what you like and what you can afford and build your adventures around it
@@RoamOverlanding thank you so much! I enjoy so much your videos. Cheers, from Guatemala 🇬🇹
👍👌
Isuzu is amazing without 4x4
🤙👍
HI
Andy's Izuzu broke down AGAIN?!?! Does anyone there know the first thing about repairing a truck? Or is this another trip to the dealership? Sad
