I for one really love these old episodes. They are so much better than the new ones in my opinion. Keep them coning back so a new generation can enjoy them.
48:05 Quick question. Why did you not explain how that kick-arse shed got built? It was either constructed before the track got abandoned, or the boys from somewhere boated/barged the steel and iron in. I'd love to know.
20:00 There'd be people at Coen or Lockhardt who would know the history of that bull catcher. I'm enjoying seeing you travel to areas that I know. There's a lot of unknown to most tracks up that way. I was told of a track that runs from Stewart River, south into Lakefield, and through to Hopevale/Elim Beach.
22:40 In 1982 I lived in a camp between Black mountain (Kalkajaka) and Trevathan Falls (which I'm sure you blokes have been to before). The camp was originally a tin miner's concrete slab for a caravan and annex (50s and 60s). We set up a big camp there and it was beside a branch of Trevathan Creek. There was a natural waterhole that had been expanded and rock-dammed by the tin miners, making a deep, wide pool for bathing and swimming. We had a population of Sootys in that pond that we'd feed. There was always water flow through the rock dam, so the water was always mountain fresh and oxygenated from the drop down Trevathan creek from the falls. It was an awesome spot to live for a while.
Aboriginals realy like there smoke. i met an Aboriginal lady at a camp site once and i commented on how the smoke from the fire kept blowing my way no matter where i moved and se said smoke follows beauty.
Princess Charlotte Bay ... dunn me fuel pump on my hilux up there ... had to do 500 odd km with a 20L drum strapped to the bonnet lol .... thank fuk for 22R .. oh and little half arsed fresh water creeks do have 4 metre plus croc's in em
Can anyone tell me anything about Stu's Mitsubishi, what model mods etc.... I'm thinking of grabbin a used Mitsi for some outback adventures myself - Cheers.
I'm lost here... did you guys start another channel? This appears to be an older video? I heard Graham say "Shauno from 4WDAction"...? I stopped the video and scrolled down to see the posting date... 3 weeks ago. I'm confused... more than usual lol What gives?
Originally the guys were part of the 4wd Action team and this resulted in monthly dvd releases with the magazine purchase. At the time, “Kings” was the major sponsor and essentially owned the rights to the movies and trips produced as they funded them. So given the dvds and magazine is no longer a thing, atleast not produced - this channel is uploaded the old content (check out some of the Roothy content, before Shaun was even around). It provides a great insight into what these guys were about, long before being heavily sponsored and just essentially; go out, break em, fix em, repeat.
So now we got to ask to drive on Australian roads don't you think they been giving enough shits me a most other people be the last of your vids I watch

So much more focus on the area and history, rather than just tough tracks and breaking shit.
@@KarlEller i dont think breaking shit is on their list hahaha
I'm unsure if your aware, but a channel called 4WD 24/7 has a lot of these episodes (and a bunch more subscribers)
Great episode, love it 👍
It’s phenomenal mates, indeed lovely adventure
Oh back when they were doing it in the 4bees that we can all afford and drive.
There's always someone who hates others success lol.

Eycurumba when was this filmed? Loving the long hair & babyfaces! 😂
Hey Graham, what's with the baitcast reel on a spin rod lol. 😜
Great video.😍
(25:34) ROFLMAO crikey Graham talks out his rear LOL Had nothing to do with driving its where the soft sand sent him *sigh*.
Great trip guys. Hey what year is your Prado? Exhaust sounds great...what brand and size?
Its a shame that connection between them and Kings/supercentre went south,i suppose money controls everything..
What happened?
Bro they probably just found other brand and tried them out and liked them more
25:30 “skilfully brought the back end around” .. almost hits a tree and hits deep sand 🤷🏻♂️
Old Shauno's cab wasn't even mic'd up properly in these old ones. Back when he was the apprentice
Was the words Mitsubishi or Triton used at any point?
Man I should try campfire pizzas this summer. I'll buy premade crust tho, lots of space in the 22ft trailer. (Not an off road trailer)
They're all so young. I wonder what year this was.
It’s bizarre ae! Ha more raw of an episode aswell.
What pocket knife was that?
Can someone tell me what year this was filmed, please 😊
See! Graham is proof that homework... Will cost you some pretty good adventures!🤣
Back before the entire episode was flogging merchandise for an our straight
What years is this
Is this company part of 4wd24/7 cuz this is their video
8.03 ????

The worse video quality should be a dead giveaway eh?

While warming his feet the guy on the right just looks bored or he is really tired at the start of the vid
Have a drink every time graham says “mighty dmax” and you will be an alcoholic before you know it…
"9 out of 10 Toyota's on the road aren't there anymore."
Cuz they all made it home?
Nissan getting used as a bull catcher because the old fellas knew Toyota was no good.
Shaunos not as talkative in this vid , just wondering whats the go with that. .
You are right
So now we got to ask to drive on Australian roads don't you think they been giving enough shits me a most other people be the last of your vids I watch
