Ep7 Namakwa 4x4 Eco Trail with The Runaway Blonde Part 2 ROAM Overlanding
Вставка

- In this episode we finish the Namakwa 4x4 eco trail, on possibly one of the toughest parts of the trail, putting the overlanding vehicles through their paces! We leave vioolsdrift and head into the Richtersveld world heritage site! This is a proper offroad adventure and even though you might not need a 4x4 you definitely want to be prepared! It’s a harsh and tough environment, which will test your vehicle. I was loving testing the terrain tamer pro shocks and adjusting them around to get the perfect ride! We camp in a cave called Brakkranse which is just a crazy cool overlanding experience! Emma and Nala her pathfinder, absolutely impress me with their determination and willingness to explore! And it is sad to get to Alexander bay and say good bye to them!

Wow, fantastic video job Adrian, Andy and Emma 👍 you can really see and feel in it, that you have been totally in your "flow" with love in Overlanding 🤠🤝 will be great to see Andy in the D-Max next to you in the future. You are rising to the top ✨
Absolutely stunning, can't wait to have my own overlanding rig and go on such adventures .
Awsome photography and filming..well done. The campsite was amazing thank you so much for sharing. Please consider not playing background music..the sounds of nature and the vehicles is far more satisfying to listen too.
Hi Adrian, that must be one of the best routes I have seen you on. Thanks for bringing it to my lounge, hopefully one day I can experience that in the flesh. Safe travels!
WOOOHOOO!!! great vid....tnks
Greetings from Down Under. Love your travels. Love your work. Takes us back home. Grew up in Botswana.
PS you are right, that landscape was like the Simpson 😎
Have to admit, Southern Africa offers way more for the overlander than Oz.
Today it's Monday, September 5th and I just caught up watching the last 2 videos. As you often say, "It has been epic!" I love watching every episode you, Andy and Emma have made.
Another interesting episode... Thanks for taking us along 😉😁
Epic Adventure! Awesome guys

Awesome adventures...Thanks for taking us along!
Really enjoyed visiting your trip, thank you for sharing your experiences with overlanding, this was an absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you again. Safe travels and journeys, Greetings from Florida and the USA.
Another great episode!
Great video Adrian. You must do a lot of setting up the camera, driving off a good distance, then having to ho back to collect the camera for the next shot. The quality of your filming is outstanding. One would think you had a film crew capturing your adventures! Your efforts are appreciated by all of your audience, I am sure. "Anyways" on with the next. Best wishes from UK.
Thanks! Luckily I have Andy with which helps so much with getting a more natural perspective of the journey and he can bounce between the multiple vehicles to capture the conversations etc 👌🏻 it used to be just me and my tripod, which was fun in its own ways but even just an extra set of hands helps so much! 👏🏻
Love this trip, following eagerly as its on my bucket list. Love the video photography.
Love the combo and content as always, thx
Another great adventure Adrian. Stunning landscapes and terrain. Keep up the good work.🇦🇺
Great job. Was a pleasure to watch!!
Nice video as usual. You forgot to sign in at the main Pectoglyph Rock as you pull into the Heritage section😜.
It was there 😂 but I didn’t want to show how upsetting humanities is where they’ve written “Karen Lief Jaco Altyd” over ancient bushman paintings
what an amazing trip, can't wait to do it... thanks for sharing your amazing experience 😎👌🌞
Our pleasure!
Absolutely amazing journey!✌ what a great ending experience.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Like this episode.
How does she look that beautiful camping.
The cave makes a lovely base camp. Wish you stayed a bit longer.
That was a fascinating leg of your trip.👍 Is Orange River the longest river in South Africa? It looks like it almost spans across the country from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean.
Yup! It’s 2400+ km long 😂
FILMING is absolutely stunning.
The stopping for every few hundred meters is a must for such beautiful place
Would you take another time to talk about filming gears suitable for mediocre to use when they travel?
Loved the Namakwa series and seeing so much beautiful scenery! Question: what’s the status of Andy’s truck? I feel bad for my guy just sleeping on the ground all the time lol
Hahha Sam! His truck is almost ready!! 😂 we will have him off the ground soon!
@@RoamOverlanding lol yessss - sounds good - I’m loving re-visiting SA and Namibia on your channel as well, amazing places there! Safe travels and I’m sending good vibes for Andy’s machine to progress nicely too! 🙏😄

Hi Adrian, what 2 way radio do you have fitted in the hilux.
Amaizing video, as usual.
How many km's does your hilux have on it now.
Thanks Lourens, sitting on 132k now :P Have put on almost 50k since I got it!
Hi Adrian, will it be possible to do the whole route in a high clearance 4x2 bakkie, and how many times did you use 4x4?
Great video, thanks.
You could probably do the whole thing on 4x2 high ground clearance 👍🏻 when my wheels are on gravel I am in 4x4 the whole time. So We did use low range a couple times but it wasn’t needed, just more pleasant to have the control and slower speed. Just go with a friend in case one of you gets stuck.
Thanks for the feedback, enjoy the trip.
Great footage and definitely ‘bucket list’ for our truck. It seems very possible for a 6 Ton 4x4 truck ?
It should be possible 👍🏻
Have you done a trip though Lesotho
I have but I havent filmed there yet; so would love to go back and do that! 2023 maybe?
Good morning, would you be able to share guidance on building up a rig or planning a trip
Hey Carl; I actually documented the whole building process of all my vehicles; you can check them out, and we have a new series starting soon too, building a Landcruiser 79series
@@RoamOverlanding I have a 97 terious
is the cruiser for you
Где джимни?
Hi I love you I'm subscribed I'm 10 years old
Help me...🤣
😂
Your channel really showcases the stunning biodiversity of our country and I look forward to exploring it for myself someday. Question: I see at 09:45 you spotted an old car and stopped. Did you get out and investigate further? It's a Ford Escort Mk1 and if it is a coupé (2 door) they are rather valuable should the body be solid.
We did check it out! It’s a sighting on the trail 👏🏻👏🏻 it’s covered in bullet holes 😂
Does Emma have channel to watch?
Nope! But she has Instagram
I Wanna Be Like You When I Grow Up

What we need is Elon Musk Space Internet on the overlanding.
