"Her name is Kasha, not her real name but she looks like porridge so i call her porridge"
Authentic cat owner
reminds me of yet another person (or catperson) that is named porridge in her native tongue
@@kuronoch.1441 Oh yes, that one who is friends with Doog
@@kuronoch.1441In Brazil we have a very popular children's comic that has a cat named Porridge (in portuguese, of course) as well. It's adorable that people do look at cats and think "yeah, you look like porridge".
The first thing i instantly thought of when i heard Kasha is to hold my urge to call her 'Orin'. Being a female cat just brings it even closer to the reference
Mine is Potato. Hello fellow certified cat owner
Don't lose hope; a cat of ours went missing for over five months, yet he returned even happier and fatter than ever. Perhaps Artyom is just taking an extended trip visiting, or hunting. I'm so glad you have Kasha.
Maybe he just has a few more families, as adventurous cats usually have.
I'm betting Artyom have a feral spouse. This happens surprisingly often. Male house cat is far more protective of their litters compared to feral males (which sometimes saw them as meals) and they would move in with their feral wife instead.
@@ZeroXSEEDMy mother is a veterinarian and sees stuff like this all the time when people bring in strays to get fixed. More often than not, when a litter of kittens and mother are found in a town or city, there tends to be a non stray male close by as well. There's been times where a male house cat will leave home for one, two, maybe even three months solely to stay by the litter and then return home like nothing ever happened. That's sometimes how missing cats have been found, the male gets picked up too and it turns out to have a collar or be chipped
Or perhaps he is cheating on babushka. With another babushka!
@@ZeroXSEEDyeah because cats often take on personalities of humans when living with them so would make sense, if they had a bond with a human, that they think is a cat, they would be more empathetic to csts?
I once discovered the pet cat of mine run over and dead by the side of the road. We returned and buried my pet cat in our garden outside of the house. Once we came back in from the "funeral" we discovered a tail in the window from behind one of the curtains. Turns out we buried the wrong cat and that my pet cat was fine lol.
Atleast you gave that one a burial
😂😂😂
plot twist of the fucking century
this made me cry. We had a cat missing for an entire year once, and then one day he returned. So do not lose hope.
Artyom will always have a place in all of our lives.
Da...he's the Komrade Kat we all love and know. ❤️

Greetings Boris, from Finland. I want to say do not lose hope. Our cat was missing for 6 months and we were devastated. After a lot of missing cat posters and grieving, she came home like nothing had happened. She looked dirty and scruffy, but nothing a de-worming round and a proper cleaning didn't fix.
This. A friend of mine who lives in the country also thought her cat was gone. Imagine her surprise when the little furry vagabond showed up at her door one morning after missing for THREE YEARS. (And he even meow'ed happily and walked in like he went out just the evening before)
i hope comrade cat comes home
VAT THE BYLAT???@@renatodenis1467
Man I owned a Maine Coon and he did exactly that. disapeared for 5 months then came back with another cat. He eventually died of old age but the cat he brought with him is still alive and chilling as an inside cat.
We found a stray kitten and took care of him for a whole month before a friend of the previous owner came across him and we gave him back.
Wherever Artyom is, I'm sure he's conquering the lands with Ghengis, my own country cat. Fifteen years gone now, but someday he'll return as a hero.
May Genghis and Artyom conquer the mice in the world and get every single bit of good food they can get. Wherever they are and wherever Genghis is, in a way they'll be free.
I reunited a cat who had been missing for just under 3 years with her family a couple of years ago, he might still come back Boris, my fingers are crossed 🤞🏻
Пожалуйста, возвращайся скорее домой, Артём ❤
How does Vadim afford to follow Boris around? Constantly moving to be Boris's neighbor. It's crazy.
I've always thought of Vadim as a way of life, not a person. If you have a neighbor that does x\y\z, they are Vadim. :)
Thats because vadim is not a person but an organisation of like-minded individuals, all hell-bent on making their neighbors lives the worst possible.

I'm really sorry about Artyom. I hope he comes back. I lost a cat that way too once. I think he went to go live with the neighbors but we never saw him again. I like to think he went to live with the neighbors, then at least I believe he was happy.
Anyone who’s lost a pet knows how heart wrenching that can be. Many years ago we lost one of our cats in a blizzard and he was gone for about 7 days, then he came back alive. If Julius could survive that there is hope.
Artyom was a good cat, he defended the motherland and sausage from Vadim, and now he is off to find his own adventure. Artyom have fun, you will never leave our hearts and minds. За тебя товарищ!
Artyom was always destined to leave the metro, it's his calling to go out and find that there's more to life than being strapped in the tunnels of Moscow
Well said
It was his own fault for naming him Artyom, it’s like he never even played Metro!
Artyom had his 2033 and Last Light these past years
It is now time for his Exodus. How fitting how poetic
lmao
I just hope he finds his aurora
Oh, Boris. I have tears in my eyes. Artyom is with you, and us in our hearts forever
I'm right there with you Boris. One of my boys didn't come home one day. It's been a few weeks now. Wherever our boys are, I hope they're happy and doing well. We now have his older brother inside and he occasionally goes out to roam, he's enjoying it inside too even though we have dogs and can't roam the whole house. He still has a pretty big section of the house though.
Artyom was this channel's legend, honestly

I'm so sorry for your loss Boris. I too owned a cat that has a wanderer's soul. What can we do but be glad they stopped to visit us along their journey? ♥
Im very sad about artyom. But im glad boris stayed strong, dont give up hope, he may turn up. Love you (in a fan way) boris, keep it up
"Babushka is waiting" - This brings tears to my eyes. I have no babushka's anymore. I hope Artyom is safe wherever he is.
No no comrade, babushkas are always waiting, no matter where or how, they might not even be your biological babushkas but they'll wait
Always hope for kitty
My boy was gone on a 5 month journey, goodness knows where but came home the day before his birthday
And a friend's cat was once gone for **9 years** and came back like nothing happened

After 9 years, how can you even be sure it was the same cat?
The cat went through one hell of an arc that's for sure

You're a good cat-dad Boris. One of the best of the good. It takes an unselfish heart to let a cat do all the cat things that a cat wants to do.

At the end of this video I said to myself “ don’t tell me that Artyom passed away” . I cried for 3 whole minutes.
He didn't, he went missing.

This is probably one of the healthiest "animal goodbye"-videos I have seen. I deeply appreciate that you kept it as a simple explanation with not overly-emphatic music in the background. No trying to milk the sadness. Sometimes, this is just what happens with country cats - and as you said, we understand.
I hope his bed is warm and the mice are plentiful, too. And if he ever comes back, the pets shall be, too.
Goodbye Artyom. Whether you’re on adventure, with new family or you’re already happy in heaven. I’ll miss you my comrade kat. And Kasha, a good companion to Boris.
it's actually pretty common for outdoor cats to be taken in by a new family mistaking them for a stray. Sometimes they don't let them outside.
Do not give up hope Boris! I left to the Marines and my cat left home. He returned 5 years later and is now with me! Artyom will always remember you!
Artyom is out there, hanging with the loners, bandits, even monolith. With his trusty Makarov at his side, and a guitar. He has a whole adventure out there. One day, you would come back and share your story dear Artyom.
I'm sure Artyom will be back eventually.
Carrying a tiny cat-sized acoustic guitar, and a little backpack full of artifacts and gear from his adventures.
Да, i hope so too.
And he became big like how a typical alpha cat would be!
Aha, Artyom was just training to be a Prowler, like in Monster hunter. He will be fine.
Having little stick'n'poke tattoos on his kitty knuckles, and having a giant dog friend wearing a bandana
That is poetic. Thank you
Artyom basically has been ranked up from a common security of HQ to the head of field patrolling protecting the most secret facility which is having the code name “house of babushka”. Congratulations, Major Artyom!
I suppose calling a cat "Artyom" is only waiting for him to seek adventure. :)

Only two months is still a good sign. I've had three adventurous cats that have gone missing for months and came back home! One was gone more than a year but she found her way. I know you're preparing for what is most likely, but he still might show up randomly.
One time, a neigbouring farmer's cat went missing for almost 4 months. Came back with some scratches, a little thinner, but healthy. Nobody knew where he had been, but he never went away for more than 24hrs at a time afterwards. Hopefully, commrade Artyom will return, with stories that he'll only tell some fellow cats.

Hello Boris with love from Turkey. Cats can find home basically from anywhere due to their high sense of environment, my cat was was stolen or thats what we thought when she returned back home around 2-3 months later albeit scuffed and thin but after few visits to the vet to get checked out and after some needed food and pets she was all fine and actually is still alive today at 14 years old. I would say do not lose hope he will most definetly return. Eventually that is. Again much love to artyom, kasha and you.
I put off watching this video for months because I was terrified that something horrible had befallen Glorious Komrade Kat. Even with over 2 months of prep this still choked me up.. and I laugh at people getting unalived in cartel beheading videos.

Hello Comrade Boris,
I have been an avid viewer of your channels for at least 4 years now and I have loved every second of it. Many years ago my parents went on a holiday that lasted 6 months. They had a cat at home who went missing the day they left. She came back they day they got home. I have faith that Artyom is just off protectiong motherland in some way shape or form. He will be back do not fear.
I know that feel bro. I lost a cat who was very similar to Artyom, and I just wish I had one more chance to say goodbye. His name was Toaster, bc he sat like a toaster.
Artyom will probably return. One of my two cats once dissapeared for the whole summer and came back like nothing happened.
I didn't know cats also had a little bit too much fun on a Saturday night
We will miss Artyom
He was a free spirit of adventures like Boris said
I know from my heart he's ok, somewhere in the wild, living his life well.
5 days ago one of my strays passed, and before that on July another also passed. They both only stayed with me for only a bit but they will forever remain in my heart. I hope Artyom is happy wherever he is right now knowing you gave him your best Boris.
I am sobbing. Your video introducing Artyom was how I found your channel. I showed my dad the video and he still to this day asks how little Komrade Kat is doing. I hope he's just having a grand kitty tour and will be home soon, with Vadim's fingernails or some other present.

Hello Boris. I am sorry to hear about Artyom, but there is a chance he will come home, small, but it there. My house got broken into years ago, and my cats at that time ran out of the apartment. I was lucky to find them hours away, scared, near my building, hiding in an old car tire that was left on the grass. I know it is selfish of me to think like this, but do not lose hope. Thank you for sharing your story, Artyom was a big part of the channel, both in good times and in bad times, and he made us smile. Take care, and much love from Romania.

The world is a little colder without his presence, but I'm glad you allowed us to cherish him with you. Thank you, Artyom, and thank you Boris. You both helped me through a lot of very tough times.
This is the most heartwarming sad story of a pet owner that I've ever seen. As a cat owner myself and that has lost 2 cats whom I sought as because of them following their free spirit.
Boris, from one cat owner to another, i hope he comes back. Thank you for this amazing video, for sharing your emotion about it, too.

I’m sorry for your loss Boris. I’ve had many outdoor cats not come home, it’s always sad, like STALKERS they crave adventure of the outside but the world is full of dangers for them.
I missed Boris, I miss Artyom, welcome Kasha! I am an adult, but i remember when my cat (exactly the same as Artyom) went on a forever adventure. I still see a cat resembling him from time to time, and i always think he made a family over those years and lived happily. I live with my Ramses now, house cat, not letting him out. I remember watching him as a kitten and growing up. Reminds me of my old cats. I hope he is somewhere catching mice and having fun.
This one hit me pretty hard. One of my cats, my first cat actually, suddenly passed away earlier this year without warning. He was only 6 years old at the time and seemed healthy. It's been almost 9 months since he died, and it still hurts to think about. I hope no matter what Artyom is at peace, and I hope you're doing alright Boris.
I'm sorry, friend
I had a cat like Artyom. He was the neighborhood gangster. He'd come home with scratches and tufts of fur missing. But, he'd stay for a few days, cuddle, sleep and be a cat. One day, he didn't meet me at the front door like he usually does. And then another day and then another. He never came back, we assume he got attacked by a fox that had moved in. I hope Artyom is safe wherever he is. I'll pour one out for Artyom, Boris.
I had a cat much like yours, getting into fights all the time. Being as powerful as he was the other cats and animals couldn't take him down (believe me they tried). It turns out the only thing that could take him down was himself (Blood clot in spine turned heart attack).

how time has passed, i remember when you first got Artyom, I even remember that a viewer suggested the name Artyom, i remember when you made an ushanka for him, great times....better ones to come! I've been following your journey boris for a long time now and right now it feels nostalgic. Thank you for sharing.
My kitty also escaped exactly two months ago. She was happy with us but she always wanted to go out and explore, and after she got out one night we didn't find her, so you saying goodbye to Artyom made me very sad because I miss my cat a lot. I hope they are both healthy, safe, and getting fat on mice, wherever they are.
My dad lost a cat for 2 years while he was growing up. Just reappeared one day demanding food. A few people in my home town post their missing cats and months go by with nothing, then all of a sudden, they appear, skinnier than normal but relatively healthy. Keeping Artyom in my thoughts. May the ground tremble as he walks
You gave Artyom his freedom and to have the adventures he wanted to have; to hunt, to play and explore, and he always had a safe place to come home to. Wherever he is now, you and your Babushka gave him a good life.
Artyom, a free spirit. A traveler and a philanthropist bringing happiness wherever he decides to visit after his adventures take him there. Even if he may never come home to babushka, you know he's okay for he is trained to withstand anything.
Although it is sad it is what artyom deserves, I knew a dog of a friend, a samoyed to be exact and as a puppy he was happy. But as he grew older he needed more space, more space than my friend could provide. Everyone loved him but as he grew older we knew that he needed to live happy as well as everyone else. So with a heavy heart he was given up for adoption, although it was sad. He was happy.
I still remember you, Snowy. I hope that you’re living well and happy.

Man, you gonna make me tear up. I have three cats and it is sad when they leave as you don't really know what happened or if they're okay. But there will always be another.
