    Greetings Boris, from Finland. I want to say do not lose hope. Our cat was missing for 6 months and we were devastated. After a lot of missing cat posters and grieving, she came home like nothing had happened. She looked dirty and scruffy, but nothing a de-worming round and a proper cleaning didn't fix.

    Don't lose hope; a cat of ours went missing for over five months, yet he returned even happier and fatter than ever. Perhaps Artyom is just taking an extended trip visiting, or hunting. I'm so glad you have Kasha.

      I'm betting Artyom have a feral spouse. This happens surprisingly often. Male house cat is far more protective of their litters compared to feral males (which sometimes saw them as meals) and they would move in with their feral wife instead.

    • @janitordel6296
      @janitordel6296 11 місяців тому +59

      @@ZeroXSEEDMy mother is a veterinarian and sees stuff like this all the time when people bring in strays to get fixed. More often than not, when a litter of kittens and mother are found in a town or city, there tends to be a non stray male close by as well. There's been times where a male house cat will leave home for one, two, maybe even three months solely to stay by the litter and then return home like nothing ever happened. That's sometimes how missing cats have been found, the male gets picked up too and it turns out to have a collar or be chipped

    Hello Boris with love from Turkey. Cats can find home basically from anywhere due to their high sense of environment, my cat was was stolen or thats what we thought when she returned back home around 2-3 months later albeit scuffed and thin but after few visits to the vet to get checked out and after some needed food and pets she was all fine and actually is still alive today at 14 years old. I would say do not lose hope he will most definetly return. Eventually that is. Again much love to artyom, kasha and you.

One day, he didn't meet me at the front door like he usually does. And then another day and then another. He never came back, we assume he got attacked by a fox that had moved in. Don't worry Boris, Artyom is out there living his best life as all good kitties do. Little man probably expanded his territory or found a colony of female cats to party with. There's always hope that he will visit home again, one family in the U.S. was reunited with their cat 16 years after the cat escaped; the microchip in the cat verified he was theirs. So never get down about the fate of Artyom, there's always another tomorrow!

I was lucky to find them hours away, scared, near my building, hiding in an old car tire that was left on the grass. I know it is selfish of me to think like this, but do not lose hope. I do not know if this will reach you, but I would at least try the following:
    Leave a pile of your clothes, that you have worn for at least an entire day beforehand, as well as a bowl of water, at the last place you saw your cat. It will smell your scent and the water will be welcome.
    Do not leave food as well, as it may attract other animals that can scare him off. I hope this helps.
