I think the perfect marriage would be CPS1 sound effects and music with CPS2 voices except for the announcer doing Guile and Sagat's special moves. Those can be the CPS1 announcer. Would have to make maybe a few other tweaks here and there plus use the CPS2 music for the new challengers (I know they went back and did CPS1 versions for the anniversary edition but they are not really better so would stick with the much more familiar versions)

The Sharp X86 version had higher-quality voice clips, some of which were reused for Super as well, these clips are higher-pitched than the arcade ones, thus some of the voices from the CPS1 version are based on the same source as the CPS2 version. The USSR dissolved in 1991, why didn't CAPCOM change it in SSF2 and SSF2 XBOX 360?
