In reference to your first note about whether or not the Swords should go at Tivit, you were actually right to not exile my Tivit because that would have been really mean!

awesome showing for our boy tivit! one note: that final turn you could have attacked with tivit before you started kitten looping. makes sense that you were feeling itchy to try to win with the forbidden tutor, if you didnt have a bunch of counterspells in hand from those clues then yeah, i would have done the same thing. sometimes the deck just draws, you know, lands and rocks :3

Technically doesn’t matter, you can target any creature with the untap, even if it’s untapped Ave there were plenty of other targets. All he wanted to do was get Rocco back in hand and the play was legal.

@@stevenlorenzo6540ept then he wouldn’t have the mana to cast Rocco with green mana and have green mana up to cast food chain.
Temple garden is tapped. So he uses command tower to pay the green for Rocco from hand to get eternal Witness. Now he has 2 plains but no green to cast food chain. 16:45

Cam untapped a land with Symbiote, you can't untap a land with Symbiote, and he didn't have the mana to win that turn I don't think
Would love to see some Tayam here for other 3 color deck pairings, been picking up steam lately its a sick deck to watch!
Tayam is a weird one. It is tier 1 if played by the people with a lot of experience and definitely in the top 4 3 colour decks rn but needs to be tested more before earning a spot. The other one that really was missed was RogSi which isn't great content but is tier 1 to tier 0
Loved the "yeah, I guess I could've, but sometimes it's just more work to say that", just like those moments when you ignore a few "may" triggers just because you really don't feel like dealing with them 😂
I love how absolutely tilted Dylan is by the sound of that mail coming in, and Cam's just like lackadaisical and like "oh mail"

16:52 - Cam can't untap the Temple Garden with Wirewood Symbiote cause its not a creature. As a result he wouldn't have had enough mana to combo off that turn?

Wasn't aware of temple Garden's innate creature-ness with a symbiote untap.... But a really fun game guys!
If Dylan is playing a variation of Shivers list he should of used the D. Tutor for Magda and used her to cheat in the portable hole. Then with the next pile of treasures he made he could grab Soul Guide Lanturn to exile Cams graveyard in response to the E.Wit.

In the turn Dylan killed the abolisher and douthi he'd have had 2 more treasures from the previous turn when mod sacd 2 clues to draw. Idk if it would've mattered or if he could've done more because of that, but it's at least worth the thought exercise.

I think tivit actually is even though it lost to an unfortunate event there, but would agree it is currently a top deck! I honestly believe three color decks are currently well positioned in the current meta! Just enough colors to be great but not too many to where you have to always worry if you got the right mana off of a fetch or not, or even if you tapped right when you tap your lands!

I'm new to cEDH, can someone explain to me why he died after casting Consultation naming Sevinne?
Consultation in short: "name a card, exile the top 6, then reveal and exile cards from the top until you reveal the named card".
Because the card he named was in the first 6 they removed, consultation is unable to find it and will proceed to exile the whole library.
Mod then took the harakiri way and sacced a clue to draw in an empty library so he losg
@@bugfi5h442 Oh I see!, but why he wanted Savinne at that moment? He was trying to win? I thought peeople use consultation only to name a card that aren't in the deck to win with Tasssa.

@@k4rps They had time sieve in their graveyard, so they wanted sevinne's reclamation to return time sieve to the battlefield and continue their infinite turns loop

Consultation for a card in the library isn't the normal usage, but is still useful. With 100 card decks, it isn't super likely the card you name will be in the top 6.
In this case he was going to get Savinne's reclamation to return time sieve so he could take infinite turns. If Savinne's reclamation was in the middle of his deck he would have won

In one of the later turns, a Jeweled Lotus is cracked for 3 blue mana that I thought you could only use to cast your commander...but the commander was already out...have I missed something there?

raffine typically runs more stax so less stack interaction. but yeah, unlucky. without looking at tylers list im gonna guess theres only 8 counterspells and then a bunch of haatebears

Love all of the content just have some quick feedback about some feedback. (Not in this video but figured to write here as you might see it sooner.) In some of the podcasts (including the previous one) it sounds like there’s some high pitched noise/feedback from Dylan’s microphone whenever he talks. Idk much about video editing but you might be able to pass the audio through a filter to remove the noise.

At 11:20 you should draw a card less because adeline died before conive resolved and so you only have 4 attacking creatures

I don't know if I'm wrong, but couldn't you play the demonic tutor with dauthi before it died, allowing you to get value out of it?
Dauthi casts still follow timing restrictions so you can’t cast a sorcery in response to removal.

@@BrassWhole Easiest way to remember is to look for the phrase "this turn".
If a card says you may cast/play it "this turn" then it obeys timing restrictions.
If it just says you may cast/play it then it ignores timing as it is cast/played as part of the ability resolving
