    I thought your brick walkways looked great last week, oh but this week they are AMAZING! Whose feet have tread these ancient paths and spent some quiet, in times past? And if you choose to sit a spell, will you feel their presence in shadows cast.... if you listen carefully will you hear a thought from long ago, left behind by someone you don't know? or is just a whisper on the breeze... gently swaying through the trees..... :) I LOVE this garden....

      Hi Annie! I hope all is well with you, my friend. This kind of technique is the result of a lifetime spent obsessing over these things, girl - while most folks were being productive citizens and having families, I've been relentlessly pursuing MAKING in all various disciplines. 😅 It's my joy to get to condense all of that learning into simple, easy to replicate methods for us ALL to use. Hugs! xoxo

    Thumbs up for this one. As I mentioned on FB, could have used this when working on theater, ah shucks, why am I complaining?? I did learn how to make brick work when doing the theater, right. LOL

    • @Thicketworks
      @Thicketworks  5 років тому

      Ha! Yep, well, if I had developed all of these techniques back then, we would have used 'em in that build, but I think the method taught in the course just gives us more options in the long run, my friend. So glad you are liking this approach, Lois - it's my favorite method thus far! xoxo

    Gorgeous Heather! I love it! I never thought about making bricks from craft foam. Slapping my forehead over that one. I usually use a mold and some paper clay, which is much more expensive. The foam must be nice and lightweight and not prone to cracking or chipping either. And I like how you emphasize the need for variation. It really does make for a more realistic piece.

    • @Thicketworks
      @Thicketworks  5 років тому +1
