you still stun me with what you create and what you share with us to learn, you are amazing Heather , and your voice is soothing and just makes it ... and you do step by step and tell us what products you use with the links,,, many would not do that so thank you and love your work xxx
Dear Sue...well, you certainly know how to make a girl feel awesome! Thank you...I try to imagine the information that I want to know when I watch tutorials, and I'm grateful that it is helpful, darling. xoxo
Absolutely stunning miss Heather!! Your attention to detail is exquisite darl'in, tsmfs!
Have so much to learn, girl - but I'm loving the process, for sure, Laurie. Thank you for watching and leaving such a kind message, my friend. xoxo
Wow! It's so beautiful and perfect, great job!
Beautiful and a realistic secret garden just stunning Heather xoxo
Cindy! Hello, my darling...there are many things that I've learned so far with this build, and many more that I have yet to learn - but we're getting there, girl! xoxo
@@Thicketworks I know you can master anything and you inspire all of us xoxo
You are the layer QUEEN my friend!!! Love love love it! And those exact vines are going on the Addams house... they are just what I want (but dead and with no leaves ;)
That is going to be an AMAZING addition to your siding, Ara - I can hardly wait to see the final effect! xoxo
Seriously so so beautiful. This is just spectacular.
Oh, this message warms my heart - thank you, @Year-round Krampus! xoxo
Everything is looking so Inviting and Magical!!!! Loving the ivy vines coupled with the roses too!
I had no idea how much I would enjoy this process, Elizabeth...but once I got over my terror of tiny flowers, I'm having a ball, girl. Thank you for being here, my friend. xoxo
@@Thicketworks Your work is incredibly inspiring and I will soon be making a version of my own "secret garden" and I will be referring back to your videos, especially your painting and aging techniques..
Oh, Elizabeth - I'm so frustrated...for some reason I'm being denied permission to access your blogger page. I've tried everything I can think of to rectify the situation, to no avail. Is there any possibility that you could either send me the pics here: heather@thicketworks.com or that you post them on the Thicketworks Facebook Page? I'd be ever so grateful, girl. xoxo
The Secret Garden was a fav book of mine as a kid. I adore this whole series, I hope you do another book inspired theme!
Yay! Another Secret Garden fan! I have so many cherished books, @melisseus - which story would you most like to 'illustrate' like this? xoxo
@@Thicketworks hello! Ive been thinking about this all week. I know its overdone but i think with your style of decay and victorian beauty, a dark Alice in Wonderland would be awesome! The queens garden with the roses maybe? So many options. Thanks for the reply!
@@merswolf - I agree with what you're saying: the Alice Thing is done to death...and yet, it remains so compelling. I think the themes and inventiveness of the story speak to something very primal in the human Spirit. Don't know if I'll ever 'go there', but I can see the potential power of the thing, for sure....hmmmnnnn....pondering. Thank you for your thoughtful response! xoxo
That was so wonderful again and I would not mind that your secret garden is soon finished. The attention to detail is really worth it! I have rarely seen anything better. Thank you for the beautiful inspirations. ❤👍 Crafty Hugs vom Tinchen
Dear Tinchen: you are unfailingly kind, and I know that you are also honest: thank you for both qualities - they are precious and rare! I admire SO many of the great diorama artists, and am striving to teach myself how to become better. xoxo
@@Thicketworks Thank you very much for your nice answer. For me you are one of the greatest artists in this direction. Of course we all want to get better but I love your work very much! ❤👍
Love your Aging techniques! Keep up the great work!
Well, thank you kindly, Seán. I appreciate that. xoxo
Stunning... such talent and patients for excellents
Although I’ve been playing with crafts for close to 50 years-If asked what is the best craft tip you’ve learned- it’s gotta be your PAUPERS BONDO that I just learned after finding you on YT a few weeks ago !! What a mixed media dream!
Isn't it fabulous? I can't recall where I first learned of this method - I think it was on some model making forum. Once I tried it I was hooked! And I don't think we've even BEGUN to explore it's many uses, @JuJu Crafts! xoxo
Absolutely stunning! !!! So realistic. Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing!!!
Hi Sarah - I'm thrilled that you like it, my friend. As someone new to miniatures and dioramas, I'm still just trying to figure all this stuff out! xoxo
Absolutely gorgeous!
Hi Cathy! And thank you, girl. I'm loving this process. xoxo
Exquisite! I'm already walking through and sitting in that garden in my imagination! Thank you!
Then I'm satisfied, girl. Just a few more touches and this little world will be complete. Thank you for being so supportive of this project, Daphne - that means the world to me. xoxo

It is coming together so beautifully , as I knew it would, because all your projects come together beautifully. So much talent in one little girl, lol. It's perfect, Hun , so gorgeous!
You are SO kind to believe in me, Anastasia - and I'm so grateful. This was a nerve wracking 'segment' for this build, but I'm pleased with how it came out. Blessings to you and yours, girl. xoxo

Heather! Heavens, my darling, I get so excited when I see your videos come up on my notification bar! I now have a "Do not disturb, I'm drinking coffee and watching Heather" ritual haha.
I just thought of how the #QueenOfCrafts tag does you a huge disservice. It should at least contain the title of artist. Brava once again, m'lovely, have a great week and I'll see you in the next video! 💖💖💖
It's Ophelia! Hello, my darling...thank you for the delightful chuckle, girl. You always bring a smile to my face, and warmth to my heart - big hug! xoxo

So awesome Heather...love the vines in particular ❤❤❤
Hey Roz! Making those vines is one of the messiest AND most satisfying processes EVER, girl! 😂😘
Awesome Heather! Beautifully detailed. Thank you
Awww...thanks, my friend! Thank YOU for being here. xoxo
Me encanta!!!!!
Oh gracias mi amiga... Este proyecto es cercano y querido para mi corazón. xoxo
Wow. That must be so satisfying. Watching the final result start to come together shows that its somehow so much more than the (stunning) individual pieces that came before. I think I may have to build some walls next, just to enhance that motivation. Beautiful job Heather! I can't wait to see the rest.
That's the perfect descriptor, Heather: satisfying. I've been dreading this part, thinking it could ruin everything...but it has turned out better than I could have hoped. Just goes to show ya: if I can do it, ANYONE can! Huge appreciation for your kind heart, my friend. Thank you. xoxo

Abrazos. 💗
Absolutely awesome..... Love your creations... Little touches like crumbled lavender 💜💜💜 I am a tad concerned.... The travel agent is unable to locate this address 😉 my bags are packed xx
Uh, oh! That travel agent must be a tiny bit confused - one needn't purchase a ticket to The Secret Garden - it's nestled softly within your own precious imagination, awaiting your arrival, Faith. 💗
I definitely have to say I really don’t mind the circuit work. But I do love your original. Why not just glue the trellis instead of the pins? I have to say this is my favorite diorama so far but the Victorian funeral comes in a close second! Do you watch Luke towan here on yt? You guys share similar ideas for miniatures!
Hi Neta! I'm glad you like the work (the Victorian Funeral was SO fun to do!)
I chose to pin the trellises because the backs of them were quite uneven - pinning seemed more secure.
Luke Towan is the creme de la creme when it comes to diorama tutorials - he uses the Anycubic Photon 3D printer for lots of his pieces. I have my eye on THAT machine, too! See, I'm interested in the results, and technology (when used creatively) only adds to the fun!
I chanced upon a hidden path
on the edge of a shady wood,
I walked in silent reverie
until before a door I stood;
The walls appeared ancient
all covered in vines and moss,
and at it's base was scattered
years of decay and dross;
I stretched upon the tips
of my toes so I could peer inside,
and reached out my hand
to twist the knob and push the door aside;
Cautiously I stepped inside and
could hardly believe what I saw,
for hidden away from prying eyes
the most magical place of all;
I held my breath as I began to
explore, up and down each path,
I seemed to lose all sense of time
just wanting this wonder to last;
The sun began to set behind
the trees as the twilight fell,
I found a bench beside a fountain
and decided to sit a spell.
I let the quiet and solitude
fill my soul with peace,
and felt the troubles melt away
as the tinkling of the fountain
bid them to cease.

What else can I say? other than I LOVE everything about this garden!
Shirley Ping just love your words!💜
@@faithw9387 Thank you! :)
Shirley...oh how enchanting! May I include this beautiful poem in the final blog-post about The Secret Garden? Of course, you would be credited. It would mean so much to have your gorgeous language gracing the finale. Please say yes, darling! 💗
