You have a very hypnotic voice. Beautiful work.
Thank you for your kindness, Mitchell - and thank you for watching.
I enjoy your videos so much . You have a calming speaking voice . I like how you dive right in to the project . You keep thing simple easy to understand . Thank you so much for inspiring me .
So glad that you find them easy to understand, Elisabeth: this is something I'm always trying to improve! Thank you for your kindness, my friend. xoxo
Oh Heather this is absolutely the cutest thing well done xx
Thank you so much!! Your kind words are appreciated, my friend. xoxo
This garden will be so peaceful, surely a little magical too. A happy place for sure. 💜
It's Edwige! Hello, darling. Yes: a happy, peaceful place for us to rest and relax, with a dash of happy magic thrown in! 🌷🌿💗
Thank you, again and always.
Thank YOU, Ruth - you make it so fun to share! xoxo
Great technique all that glaze layering! TFS
Glazes are so versatile, @Natassa Blazaki! I love that we don't have to wait for days for them to dry, like we used to when they always involved oil paints and petroleum products. Thank YOU for watching, girl! xoxo
@@Thicketworks yes that's true. I love working with glazes too. I really liked the way you built that old distressed stone look.😍
You rock woman. This is awesome 😍
Ha! WE rock, Kitty! Aren't minis delicious? Hugs! xoxo
Your voice is so soothing. I watch as much to hear you as I do to learn from you! Thank you!
Wow Heather, fantastic job! Great idea on the paper template to make the project easily replicated for us. You're painting was fantastic! Great techniques that I'll definitely be putting to good use. I feel my painting skills still have a long way to go yet and your tips in the video are really going to help with that. Awesome results. Dried cilantro leaves, definitely will be giving that one a try.😎
BTW going to be picking up the Secret Garden to read to my boys. We homeschool and are all about the classics. They're definitely far and above what seems to be out there today as far as real emotion and relating to the finer, fuller details of life, which is what I love about them. Great work Heather, looking forward to the upcoming vids as you build up this series!
It's Neil! Hey, dude! As far as I can tell your painting techniques are awesome - all of your builds fill me with awe.
I have TONS to learn about everything - which makes life super-satisfying...learning new techniques, like your AMAZING Ocean Wave (truly the BEST ever) gives me such joy. Thank you for being so generous with your tutorials - THIS is what makes UA-cam the best....channels like @Real Terrain Hobbies!
I am so impressed (and glad) that you and your wife home-school: that is love in action, my friend. Your boys will grow up so much more prepared for good lives. The Secret Garden is such a profoundly wholesome story, but not sugar-coated at all: it takes a long hard look at the ways we can become distorted, AND points us toward solutions that make sense, and involve deep compassion and honesty. I'm so happy that you will be sharing this experience with the boys. Thank you for taking the time to stop by - I know you're busy, and it's much appreciated.
@@Thicketworks Thanks Heather! We have much to learn from each other and I agree, learning new things is definitely the best and definitely instills in me a certain zest for life. And thanks, yeah deciding to homeschool has been the best decision I think we could have made. So many positives.☺️
As for The Secret Garden, just ordered it. It sounds really good and I love how these classics approach life and it's deeper inner workings. Sounds like something right up my alley and an excellent teaching tool on the realities of life while not trying to, as you say, sugar coat it and hide these realities we all encounter. And, how to approach them in a healthy way without trying to hide from them.
Sorry again for the late replies! I really need to get better at responding. Funny enough, I'm just not a big social media kind of guy yet decided to have a UA-cam channel.😅 I'll get better Heather, you'll see.😉
Thank you for sharing your Talent! I really needed this until I can get my daughter to help me for the Secret Garden.
Oh, you two will have such memories to share, @Betty Boop 63 G! There are several non-Cricut Maker tutorials to get ya started - xoxo
@@Thicketworks I made this one. I am waiting for her for the path ...walls..and tools. lol
@@cakefiend1 That's fabulous, my friend! It's beginning to come together - feel free to share pics on my FB Page (hint!) facebook.com/thicketworks/

Beautiful!!!!!
Oh, thank you, Debbie! I hope you have a wonderful day, my friend. xoxo
Wow! Love the benches. They look so real! I can't wait to see the next part of the garden!
Hi Daphne - I am super excited about this project - AND a little nervous about being able to pull it off to my satisfaction. Gotta try, though...the concept won't let me go until I give it my best shot! xoxo
I love and enjoy this secret garden project so much! It's like remembering a wonderful dream...
I feel much the same, my friend. This Secret Garden project is stirring memories of a time and place that never was, but that lives and breathes in my imagination. xoxo

LOVE "thish"
Utterly amazing! Thank you for sharing and for your generosity.
Sharing this stuff is a total joy, @therettavad - Thank YOU for taking the time to watch and to leave such sweet encouragement, my friend. xoxo
♥️♥️♥️ so adorable,! thank you heather! You’re magical
Ha! We are ALL Magical, darlin'! That's the secret nobody talks about - and that's inside of YOU, girl! xoxo
I’m making an outdoor medieval/gothic mini garden and plan to build the witches cottage and all its little accessories and a tree castle around the other side of the tree... I want to build stone steps that curve around the tree to a grand doorway, but no idea how to build that stone castle stair! Help!? ;-)
@@jme_klein9566 - your project will indeed be Magical! Here's a video by another creator that outlines one simple method using cardboard: ua-cam.com/video/jGHobSevzao/v-deo.html
Heather Tracy thank you doll!
Lovely!!! Love your videos!
Oh, thank you, @PossumLady8262! That means the world to me, girl. xoxo
Love love love this series! 👏👏👏😘
Yay! That is so encouraging, girl. Gives me the mojo to carry on, in spite of not being sure I can do it justice. Thank you! xoxo

Love, love, love this. Your work is amazing as usual.
Oh, thank you, my friend. Learning my way into the magical world of miniatures, @FolkFaninMA - so much to learn, so much fun to be had! xoxo
Heather, you're such an inspiration. I've started making your little sinister monks and I'm loving the way they're turning out. I really want to make the fountain and benches in these videos.
Yay! Aren't those monks SO fun to create? I hope you do make these garden pieces - it's definitely satisfying, @spg35fem! xoxo
Love this design! And the glaze hack is brilliant thanks for sharing that!
Hey, Neta...I am so pleased that you like this design - we have these types of benches (full sized) in our garden, and I have always appreciated the classical harmony of their presence. And YAY for glazing hacks! I remember when glazes required petroleum products and days to dry - it's so fun to find ways to glaze without the fumes and bother. xoxo
I get so excited when I see that you've made a new video. Totally amazing, as usual!
Anastasia! Girl, it's always a thrill to hear from ya. So pleased that you like these little guys - I'm in mini heaven with this build! xoxo
Love,Love the benches😊 Secret Gardens are my absolute favorite.Heather thanks so much for sharing with us. I will definetly be giving all these a try.😊🤗😍🌺
That makes me so happy, Lisa - thank you for loving Secret Gardens! xoxo
I am thinking of retiring to live in your secret garden.... Love the story .... Need that space 💖💘💖
Yes! Let's gather together in this quiet, peaceful place, Faith. We ALL need that space to reflect, dream and heal! xoxo
❤️ I am really enjoying your garden and I can’t wait to see what comes next. If I were a fairy I would definitely visit 🙂
Yay! I'm so happy that you are enjoying the Garden, Donna - it's a true labor of love. Fairies are ALWAYS welcome around here! 🌿
Wonderful! It's going to be a great set in the end! I want a real stone bench like that, and I don't even have a garden... I'd put it in the living room and hope it won't fall through the floor to the neighbor underneath!! :-)
I don't blame you one bit, girl! We have a full sized set of these, Fran, and if we ever have to leave the garden, the benches are coming with - even if we end up in a tiny apartment! They aren't very comfortable to sit on, but they are a joy to behold. xoxo
Heh, for a stone bench as pretty as that... I'd sacrifice comfort!! :-) Style over spoiled bottoms :-D
Increible!!!! como siempre. Cada vez más asombrada por las técnicas que usas. Gracias por compartir cosas tan lindas
Muchas gracias amiga mío. ¡Me alegra compartir estas visiones y las técnicas utilizadas para darles vida!
OMword!! Thank you for this! You are so generous to give your templates to us! Thank you for the great links for the molds! I’m SO excited to make this my first build!

This is great and I will definitely need a couple of these for my Addams graveyard!!! I will have to keep an eye out for ground cilantro ;) And Yes YES YES to a Secret Garden project!!! I love that story as well!
Hi Ara! (I always get such a thrill when I see you here!) It doesn't surprise me that you are a Secret Garden lover - and YES to adding a few crumbling stone benches to the graveyard: perfect! xoxo
@@Thicketworks I will def make sure to give you credit for the bench tutorial if I get them put together ;) I originally saw the movie before reading the book. I immediately connected with the little girl because of those little elephants she had. I collected them as a child :)

I really don't know how you do it, great projects and perfect nails! My hands are a mess!
Ha ha! 😜 keeping these damn nails in shape is a full time job, @MissGroves! But, once I started realizing I was asking folks to watch my hands all the time, I had to do something about the fact that my nails were always grimy looking 😱...so, I bit the bullet and trained myself to do gel manicures at home. Ugh. On the bright side, I get to use the UV lamp required for the manicures for a ton of UV resin crafting - so there's a silver lining to every cloud, girl! 😉😘
@@Thicketworks hahhaah I get you! My mum is always coming over to borrow my resin lamp for her nails...
Well you have achieved, your hands look lovely!
Omg I fucking love you - I’m so stoked I found you and your diy’s. Thank you !!!
Hey there, @The Three Little Peas! Thank you for finding me - it's always a good thing to connect with others who GET it! 😉😘

Oh, I hope to be able to realize all the crazy ideas I have for this one, Sarah! It means the world to me that you like it - thank you! xoxo
Also do you use a glue to apply the air dry clay to the bench?
What kinda floor wax,? cleaner,? Polish? I adore when we can just probt somethibg since i dobt have a cricut...yet
Wonderful! Thank you!
I unfortunately do not have a printer 😢 could you please tell me the measurements. I'm hoping to wing it.
Again, thank you!
So cool. Where do you get the molds? Thanks!
So glad you like it! Thank you. You'll find all the supplies linked in the description area, my friend! xoxo
@@Thicketworks Thanks!
It was such a muggy day as I headed out of the city to try to escape the heat and the never ending hustle and bustle of people in constant motion.. I decided to go in search of a little quiet and solitude. As I walked away from town I stumbled upon a quiet dusty path that led through a copse of trees arching gracefully overhead and beckoned me to enter into it's cool relief. I stepped onto the path and followed it until the undergrowth became more pronounced and it became cooler and the air was filled with the damp smells of decay and something else.. could it be the faint scent of roses? I continued to follow the scent until I came to an old stone wall that had a few straggling roses clinging to old thorny branches of what must have been a beautiful climber, which even though it was now struggling to survive, had somehow managed to produce a few still beautiful flowers. I reached out my hand and touched the cool stone wall and continued to follow it until I stood in front of an old rusty gate. As I pushed on the gate it open with a loud squeak in protest and suddenly I was transported into another era...... Oh Heather.... your artwork gets me every time.... xoxoxo!!!
Dear Shirley...that faint scent of roses finds us, even whilst sitting in front of a computer, in the dead of winter. Your beautiful vision has transfixed me, yet again. I'll meet you in the garden, at the bench by the fountain. We'll murmur gentle secrets together, as the long afternoon fades to evening, and the birdsong slowly fades. 💗🌷💗
@@Thicketworks I'll bring a pot of tea and a biscuit or two, to ward off the chill in the air as we linger for a while in this peaceful sanctuary tucked away behind the lichen covered walls... :)
Amazing idea!!!!Although i would prefer you nail polish would be more ................Rock style...:)..i hope i made you smile...:))))
Ha! Oh, I've thought about all of the crazy finishes that could go on the nails, my friend - 'stone' would be fabulous! Thank you for the smile, girl! 😘
@@Thicketworks ''stone''and as we are fans of rusty things why not?..wow...why don't you try a tutorial about this idea...?Is it possible.........never thought about this until now.............:)
