Never thought I would be looking at a mid-size truck until I saw the redesign 2023 Chevy Colorado! The older modes of the Colorado looked nice on the outside however it lacked any detail inside.. since Chevy finally did a redesign, I placed an custom order for a Z71! Can’t wait for it to arrive!!!! 😃😃😃
What's the wait time?
This truck needs the 3.0L diesel engine. The EPA gas mileage for the 4 banger is worse than the old V6!
The trailboss is my favourite but I can't believe it doesn't come with led headlights. Smarten up Chev.
Helpful video thank you
Just wish the Trailboss had heated seats and steering wheel. Here in most of Canada winters are darn cold and heated seats are awesome to have. Should have been an option
why not get aftermarket?
The death of the V6 makes me sad.
Just got confirmation that my Trail Boss is being shipped! I can’t wait!!!
How much It costs?
$43k drive out.
Congratulations
Awesome, have fun with it!
How long did it take to ship after ordering?
Good review! Thanks!
I sat in a Trailboss today. I like it better than the Z71 for sure, and agree it’s incredible value. But I’m also glad my ZR2 is on order.
waiting on my ZR2 too, super excited
Explain to me why you’d put a 4 turbo in one of these to get worse case mileage than the fuel injected V6
EPA regulations so they can say “look at all the four cylinders we’re making”
I like this guys commentary and pace of review. What's his personal review channel again?
Chevy did a solid on the redesign. ZR2 On order.
So the Trail Boss is 2" higher than the Z71? What if I want the 2" lift package on the Z71?
Does the HO 430ft-lbs torque engine come with a better transmission and shocks for towing?
If the trail boss had heated seats and steering wheel, it would be a best seller, yet that option isn't even available...
Last I checked
So Good Chevrolet
On the Chevy build and price section I noticed you can opt for 33 inch tires on the Trail Boss!
that's on the 20" wheel though... I say stick with the 18, then up grade to a larger tire afterwards, especially since the 33 Chevy offers is a Bridgestone Dueler which is ... fine. Save a few bucks by staying with the 18" wheel, then use your money later do upgrade to a BFG KO2 if you want a 33. Maybe burn down the 32s for a bit first though and see how they feel on the trail.
Is the pricing in America or Canadian?
How did you skip the whole interior on the z71 😂 its the nicest of the whole lineup
I won’t get either one until they do something about the disappointing power train that was put into them. So sad GM couldn’t do better.
It's full of so many great gizmos, but it's upsetting that the newest version of my own truck is almost an entirely different vehicle.
Trail Boss can’t have heated seats, leather, proximity entry or wireless charging. At the same price, as the Frontier Pro4X once a few packages are added, I’ll take the Nissan which has way more equipment
Also doesn’t have cruise control right?
Too bad the fuel economy and power of the Nissan isn’t as good as
If I were to get one, I'd spec out an LT 2WD with the plus engine in blue and only add the LT Convenience Package 1.
too bad there are already alot of issues popping up. It's a great looking truck.
I can only afford the WT, and I thought for RWD and no options, at 35k, the price is steep.
Thats the norm now..better be ready to spend $
@@fgonzalez78959 Yeah, I can go above that, but my cut off for out the door pricing is 35k. I decided to look at a 1996 Silverado instead. lol. About to pay cash, and be done with it.
It’s coming in two doors only??
Every truck company is missing the single cab game. These trucks are the size of old full-size trucks. People miss that and restricting to four door is a miss imo especially in worktruck trim.
Cuz only three people buy them. They're going to follow the demand.
@@docholliday6285 Fact
A loss configuration to be sure but they should provide it anyway, customer service is gone.
I agree, also no 6 foot bed is a real killer but seems the majority doesn't really buy these for actual work
@@docholliday6285that’s because they only build like three in order to force people into the higher trims giving people what they want not what they need and giving the company more profit.
None the zr2 bison is coming out 2024 2023 is crap compared to the zr2 bison 35 inch tires and that suspension sweet
"This 4 cylinder is a good one" 2 years from now.. Recall after recall. .
Hmmm not selling in 1/2 ton premium fuel or E85 and yes GM knows they have made a massive mistake once again. Worse mpg then a V8 and by not saying 4cyl they know they r screwed!! No other manufacture has a 4cyl full size or midsize for a good reason! $63,000 for top models is a complete joke. I’ll help everyone buyer beware
Tacoma and Ranger both come with a 4cyl
It gets better gas mileage then Toyotas v6 but makes A lot more torque
Settle down, Martin.
No one else?
Do you even look into things before you rant?
