- Hello Friends! Welcome to this 30 min animal moves yoga flow where we mix mobility, primal movements, and yoga. You'll do some new transitions and moves you may have never done before - get ready to have some fun! 🐆🦍🦎
This is an active and energetic class where we'll jump, twist, crawl, and explore new mobility movements for a full body stretch. We'll move into space outside of your mat with a sense of playfulness and exploration - so this is it's not your traditional yoga class.
At certain points during this yoga mobility class, it'll feel like a yoga workout, while other times will feel like a yoga meditation - I encourage you to allow the practice and find your wildest movements. :)

Double hops!? I love it but I BARELY hopped at all this time - much to my chagrin. It felt like I was flying high, but alas, I've lost my ape skills. 😅🦍

Ape jumps are the best! Question. Do you know/recommend the best moves for locked up hips? I used to be flexible and doing great. Always on the move/rocking/low yogi, now it feels like they are very tight in any of those moves and losing strength. And I do Yoga every day. Thanks again. You're the best.

I'm only sorry that the painful tendonitis in my knee forced me to do a simplified version of skandasana.

So glad you listened to your body, keep your knees safe! Question, does cat cow make your knees speak up, or only when you're knees are in flexion over 90 degrees?

Awe this is so FUN ! This is my favorite session with you so far. I love the freedom and the reminder to play within my practice.
I feel I sometimes get stuck in the same movements/practice and need the inspiration and simply reminder that it is okay to just move freely without so much structure or focus on correct technique.

Full transparency, I also do weight training in the gym. It helps. My main movement is yoga but I cross train with hiking, tennis, running, gym, whatever I can. Motion is lotion. I'm 34 :)

I am 26 and looking at ur videos cant wait to get up early and start should qe do yoga on an empty stomach first in the morning and can yoga fox far sightedness?
@@radhakrishna-ls7sq love that you do yoga on an empty stomach - it's very traditional and helps to drop in 🙌
I don't have anything for far sightedness on the upcoming class board but I can definitely incorporate some eye/sight drills in an upcoming class

Thanks for the always-great class! I enjoyed the "Hopportunity" afforded by the ape jumps after watching my nephew play a Seussian "Wickersham" in a high school play last week where he, too, had to jump like an ape. I also enjoyed the skandasana challenge but fell more than a few times. 🙂
