@@tomatoway Take the tesselated mesh from each frame then show/hide the mesh corresponding to the simulated frames... fake it with the geometry you get from the blender sim
the first voice of blender that i hear was you ... i remember the very first time i was looking for tank track when i was very beginer in blender ... then i find your voice .... thank you for every second of your vidios man ... god help you
Hi, I'm a big fan of yours! I had watched all your videos in the channel! I'm using blender now, my ambition is animation I'm 12 years old from india ... I'm your greatttt fan! I'm eagerly waiting for your future videos! Thank you so much! You are doing great!!! ❤️
dont know why they dont have a standard "reset" on regular mantiflow. unless im missing something. im always having to flip settings around to force a cache reset. its aggravating. thanks for the vid. Also cant wait for the day they can get objects to be influenced by liquid.smoke sims. been faking it but never looks as good as it should
my water is just pasning tru the object, and i have set the object to obstical. does anyone know whats wrong? i also got another problem, when im simulating the water gets super big, is my addon broken? cuz nothing works properly
It's because it's good practice. Saving in separate files allows you to backtrack to a particular point if you need to change or correct something. If you just overwrite every time you do a save it can end up very messy if changes are needed.
@@michaelwaxter9622 cant remember if its FLIP or APIC thats the newest. but it was a few versions back. unless im missing something. "molecular script" is also an amazing add on. cant get by without it. insanely cool
It's possible to compile it for free, and it's not that difficult to do so. As far as I know, the only things you miss out on if you download the source code and compile that are some shaders.
blender should be a 3 thousand dollar program at LEAST, but its free. but you cant pay 80 bucks for software someone like you wrote with their blood sweat and tears? never understood this. I blew tens of thousands years ago to learn power animator on SGI computers because we had no choice. blender has become one of the most powerful software available, you pay nothing. unless youre truly poor theres no reason to not buy supporting software if doing a good sim is important to you. if youre just playing around you can do fine with manta flow, which by the way now has flip.

How adapt and export than for Unity3d?

Awesome tutorial!
Hallo, Is it also possible to just make water drops on a surface?
Good one. Can You please share the baking and rendering time? its also helpful..
❓ Thank you for tutorial. Is it possible to create a Water Domain of an arbitrary shape (for example, an octahedron)? Or just a parallelepiped?
I get the floor/background but my actual water doesn't seem to apply the downloaded textures.

Hi Olav, your animation is awesome! what kind of graphic card do you use to get such good results? Congretulation! René from Montreal

you are good!!!
@0:8sec. Are you saying flipflluid addon is better than Mantaflow?
Yes, bakes faster and looks way better.
@@Olav3D Wow!
I didn't know that.
did you use FLIP fluid addon?
i am getting traceback error
Can you make a similar tutorial with Mantaflow. Thanks.
they've got flip built in now. so it should be pretty straightforward

I love your videos but when you have to buy something then I am out. sorry
That’s fine. As I said you can make this with Mantaflow as well, but the result will not be as great.
