It turned out that Grad's "expert opinion" had cost collectors hundreds of thousands of dollars after he allegedly approved scores of forgeries as legitimate-and it gets worse: despite heavily implying that he'd been educated at the prestigious Columbia School of Journalism, further research determined that Grad had briefly attended Columbia College Chicago in 1993, but never actually graduated. In fact, during a court-ordered deposition, he revealed he'd received no formal training of any kind to back up his "expert" label. He instead credits much of what he knows to being mentored by the "King of Memorabilia" Bill Mastro-a man who landed in prison after being busted for various acts of fraud.
It’s amazing Steve grad is a hand writing expert and also can give fair and accurate prices on historic articles, toys, nascar memorabilia…. Wow. Nothing sketchy or greasy there

It's worth about $2K....but he wanted fast money and took $1200. I don't see a big problem with this.
Well it's a pawn shop and most go to them as a last resort when you can't find someone willing to buy your stuff when you need money.
Here's the problem with this: the valuation of $2000 was for the signature alone. This check has been framed with nice pictures and a period looking frame. The complete set should be valued for so much more. A lot Ricks arguments for items like these are that they need to be matted and framed with pictures, but the work has already been done.
Rule #1
Never tell Rick what you’re asking price is before the expert comes in. You’ll get swindled all day long
Or just ask 3x what you want for said item

i don't know. he faked his bio which happened years ago and was used only tonget employed and had one major a mediatised fuckup but on the other hand his record speaks for it self he is concidered one of the major signiture experts and you don't fire someone for just one mistake.

Madison actually brought up the amendments of the constitution that are known as the bill of rights. He also said that 6 dollars a day was too much for the congressional pay, when the average skilled worker was making about 50 cents a day.
