"He's never signed the #3 that I've seen...."
*Race worn Dale E. uniform sells at auction for $17,500 with a #3 signed by Dale*
TheR3aper5 i dont agree with him but if he said he hadnt seen it he probably didnt see the auction?
@Chocolate Button Especially in Nascar where having a number as part as your racing legacy was popularised.
He seldom did the #3 but he would likely add it to something like this.
@@davidlindsay9564 exactly, it's not like he had thousands of fans waiting for signatures, I think he likely did sign it, he seemed like the kind of guy that would

So this ‘expert’ can tell this is a fake signature without even having a comparison in hand? Ok. He must have masters degree in Dale Earnhardt Sr. signatures.
Personally I find this expert shifty as. And from what I've read he may be a fraud.
Either way, check out dale earnhardt sr autographs on google images. Yeah there's a chance that they're all fake. But check out how the letter D is on the tyre compared to all the google ones. It's completely different. Not even close. The googled ones look like the D is written in almost one clean motion. The letter a in Dale is also noticeably bigger than the letter l in the google ones contrasted to the one on the tyre.
There's a possibility that yeah not everyone does their signatures the same every time, and it could be from a different time/era.
I thought the certificate of authenticity would authenticate the signature. But again, who knows.
That being said, I'm not a signature/authenticator. Just a random sitting on youtube.
4Fatty4 That’s not Dale Earnhardt Jr’s signature it’s Dale Earnhardt Sr so of course they look different if you googled Dale Jr
This is no expert this tire is the real deal I got one in person similar its 100 percent authentic
@@4Fatty4 just by looking at some authentic signatures i agree this is a fake, most likely signed by one of his staff. all big sports stars get their mail delivered to an assistant, they'll only forward the mail to the star if it's something really important like a dieing kid whos wish is to see them etc.... not an old tyre lol
@@Writeous0ne what they are missing is that it is a giant signature. It's not the same hand motions, this could easily be real
I gotta feeling its a legit signature
We all do
And I’m pretty sure nobody can replicate a signature exactly every time
Agree I think it's real
I have a couple and this one looks different...the "D" in Dale looks wrong compared to my autographs....
mark douglas But what if.. yours are the fake autographs..? Dun dun DUUNNNN
The expert probably said it was fake and then in the parking lot bought it from him
Wyatt Nance nahhhh. That expert is a fraud just like that guy steve but steve is worse
Doubt it
The guy is making more for the TV appearance...He probably made 1000's to do that segment...Why would he mess that up to make maybe 1000?
I wonder if these so called experts are legit?
RaLLyKaTz OoO it’s been stated many times that the experts who come in don’t get paid. And that the only “payment” they get is their name and business being advertised.
Dale Earnhardt walks in himself. Hey I signed my tire and want to sell it.
Rick: I am not sure if you actually did that. Lemme call my buddy in to take a look at you.
Very original!😂
He could sign it in front of Rick and an expert would still be called in to verify.
Pornstars is a rip-off. David Taylor heart fan and that is Dale Earnhardt's to signature these people on new shows are a joke especially pornstars they want to rip people off
That is Dale Earnhardt's Tire off his car that is Dale Earnhardt signature I'm a biggest Dale Earnhardt fan.
I'll give ya $5
The signature is 100% authentic
Yep. I'm not even a professional and I've seen his signature enough to know that there is nobody that could duplicate his signature. the only reason one would be different than the other is on the speed that you write. There is no way Dale Earnhardt could write his name slow. It would be so bad.
@Justin Crock I think Rick's expert is a crook.
It doesnt matter, matters if he can sell it
hang on, i got a guy who signs things.
no it isnt lmao.
shows a certificate: "anyone can make that on a computer"
shows a typed e-mail to prove the certificate: "oh yea, okay"

Drew Max the authenticator hasn't been on PAwn Stars in years... It turned out that Drew has a horrible reputation. To the point that most auction houses wont even accept anything he authenticates.

Julian Potter Music thats why the other guy Steve i think it is, he's better.
That's an authentic Dale Sr autograph I know have another signed in person
Wow. So he has all signatures memorized and knows every detail about every signature he comes across. Neat. I’d get a second opinion
Most of what you see on this show (and every other like it) is very truncated and edited down. If the guy got called in to check a particular autograph, it wouldn't be difficult to familiarize himself with that signature before coming into the store and authenticating it. If you do a quick search, you too can spot the differences in this autograph that would make you question it.
Hi
@@twoblacklabs904 I don't have any expertise in this field but to me the T looks exactly like Dales T would if if we're written on a sidewall that slopes in right at that point and the D does look rushed unlike everything else but a rushed D for me doesn't mean it's not his signature and that's the only point I think is valid
“Blocking so is his kid could win a race”
I don’t think Michael Waltrip was his child...
Devin Coleman exactly what I was thinking
Same lol
Just because his son didn't go on to win doesn't negate Dale's motives. He was blocking for his son.
He owned both cars, so he was blocking for his son and one of his drivers
Charles Cass no he was blocking for his team
Not everyone signs the same way every single time? Wtf
Gerry.21. Exactly. My signature varies a lot but overall it's the same shape.
yea but most of the time famous people tend to stay consistent with the autograph they use
grumpy cat you said it "most of the time" but not all the time
My signature changes a lot daily... It also looks different when I decide if I want to use my left or right hand to sign whatever since I'm ambidextrous
I have a t shirt of mark hunt autograph and it looks nothing like he's other autographs. So weird. When he signed my t shirt all he put was hunt.

my father has a shirt signed by dale and it looks exactly like that with all the cross touching letters and the big signature 'T' at the end.
Funny how they always ask "did it come with paperwork?" One of the first people to flash some and the response is... "well anyone with fancy paper and a typewriter can forge one of those." lol why even ask then? Still had the nerve to ask if he had paperwork on the signature right after that.
They're looking for specific paperwork from well-known and trusted authenticators. If that guy had whipped out paperwork from PSA or something like that, then it would have been a non-issue. Notice that Rick says, "The problem I have with certificates like that..." He's referring to that specific type of certificate...a generic-looking document you can create in Microsoft Word in about 2 minutes.
I was thinking same thing
@Wade Yaeger no. Thay doesnt make a difference if it was legit someone would take it to a reputable place period why would they go do it at home what do they have to hide?
This show should actually be called
“ let me call my buddy”

wait here for a minute i will call a buddy of mine to check if that name could be used...
Yea it gets really annoying when they keep saying Let me call my buddy
Tire signed by Dale Earnhardt? I'll give ya 3 bux for it.
POP don't start the overused shark tank phrase. with that i'm out
This actually is a real signature. I don't think these guys are "professionals"
His signatures are also usually pretty squished and barely readable.
As someone who watched Dale Earnhardt at 7 years old Sign a trophy (my year 2000 NCKRA State Champion Glass Eagle) I still have it and I compared it to what I seen in this video and I am very confident that is a legit signature.
My trophy was also signed by Mark Martin and Bobby Hamilton (my two favorite drivers at the time).
My mother insisted on have Dale sign it. This was 2 weekends before he crashed at Daytona. I’ll never forget it.
That is definitely Dale's signature and he added his #3 on many of his signatures
What kind of an expert touches a signature with their bare hand? Either a) just point at it or b) wear a glove. Also, didn't compare to anything, no macro cam, no internet pics, no prints. Just the eye and his memory. Couldn't be less professional if he tried to. Let's hope this guy is just an actor and not an actual "expert" how ask money for his bad service.
but did he win the piston cup...?
The piston cup has no credibility . Anyone can join. Ps. McQueen is over rated .
how dare u, mc fucking queen isnt overrrated, hes tha shit

He did what in the cup?
I see what you did there.
I have a sign picture of Dale that he signed himself in Omaha when I was a kid and that looks identical to what I have.
Your right me too and I have a tire signed in person that's 100 percent auethentic
Legit it is.
It might've been signed by his assistant. I'm sure a lot of stars don't have time to sign every item that gets sent to their fan club
You should become Rick's buddy so he can call you next time he has a signature to look at.

Have a shirt from 1993 looks just like it with the 3 and I was wearing it when he signed it so I know it's real
that is Dale's sig. I have a picture of an autographed board that all the drivers signed on Busch Pole Dat at Dega in 85 when Bill Elliott broke the 212 barrier. Earnhardt's sig is on that board and it indeed has the 3.
we all know the expert googled the signature like previous pawn star episodes

I have 2 tires signed by him. We bought them at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Both signatures are a bit different. He also signed the dash of a car in front of us that we bought there. It was much neater...it looked like he signed it with more care. I absolutely think that is a genuine autograph on the tire.

From a quick search in the Internet Dale seems to sign quite differently every time. You can't tell it is not his sign just from one missing loop or something like that. That sign on the tyre looks legit to me. I am 90% sure it is his.
same. I have seen hundreds of dale signatures and I believe this one was real. He wasn't an A-list celebrity or anything so I can't imagine why someone would forge his signature.
Ain't nobody that can falsify Dale Earnhardt signature.
This guy said “ he added his number which I’ve never seen” In 45 seconds of googling I found 10 things with the number in his signature
I've got a shirt he signed in 1993 with it
Rick was right... he signed a tire.. not paper. My signature is always similiar but hey, sometimes I'm drunk, ya know? It's unavoidable
Dale did like his beer
“Let me call my guy he’s an expert in Dale Earnhardt signatures”
Paracosm lol right? He didn’t even compare it to another example. I’d seriously question this guy for that reason alone
Never tire of this one
I need to bring this signature expert with me to games so he can tell athletes how to properly sign their own names
Rick and big hoss are soooooo smart!! They know EVERYTHING about ANYONE.
Everything that is "off" is easily explained, I think it is good. Signing on a tire is NOTHING like signing a piece of paper.
his 1st name is signed way too small, 1st give away
A lot of Dale's personal helmets have his #3 on it. He gave Tony Stewart one that didn't have his signature on and he signed it in front of him adding the #3.
I bet he gonna call some type of buddy up
I KNEW IT
It seems real to me. I would've paid 1500 for it... 1500 for an actual race car tire signed by a legend is reall good price.
You can’t sign your autograph the same exact every time especially on a uneven surface with different sized pens and surfaces.
Dale Earnhardt and Mr. Brown got along famously and still are in heaven.
1:30 *tears welling up in eyes*
Seller: *hands Rick an ornate, framed CoA
Rick: "Yeah, but anyone can print one of these"

I’d give $1500 for that... incredible piece of history
Seems overkill. Dale Earnhardt used thousands of tires throughout his career.
Now if it was a tire from his wrecked car, that's be worth something
@@MikhailFederov but then it wouldn’t be signed…
William B ....I actually have a Dale Earnhardt tire with that certificate. . . I don't have his autograph though. That certificate is totally legit. As far as the autograph goes...Generally anymore I would have thought that the signature would have been accompanied with a certificate.
Anyways would you be interested in it for six hundred?
This show is great because it's educational, yet entertaining
2:21i love that mans smile
As many different signatures I have, if I ever got famous, no one would ever be able to verify my signature for authenticity.
they tell you when you get the signature to get a photo with the person
My own signature never looked the same, so this could be the real one, but a bit off because of writing on a rubber wheel...I think the expert was a fake.
He has since been exposed as exactly that
Just compared my own signature from 1990s 2000, 2010, and 2020 they evolve and all are little different. Biggest difference is first one to last one, almost like a two different people.
Some of an expert.. with shaking hands
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who signs things the same way every time
Yeah, it totally could have been his signature, different factors come to play with signatures, especially when signing on a tire... he could have signed while laughing his ass off, he could have tried and embellish his signature for the occasion...
I'm telling you right now people that normally sign autographs always sign the same way. It's the speed that they sign it in. the only way Dale Earnhardt signature would really be off is if he signed it real slow. That signature right there is a fast-paced signature.
I like how they mis-spelled 'there' in that letter.
I am an expert and it is absolutely Dale Earnhardts autograph !! And he very seldom "rested his hand " on anything he signed. That dude is no expert !!
I just saw a Professional Sports Authenticator Dale autograph that looks just like the one on the tire.
He died so his teammates can finish 1 2. Michael waltrip won the race he died in.
But he was blocking for dale jr even though Waltrip won
He was was killed by Sterling Marlin.
But what actually happened was the roof roll bar to his roll cage broke and struck him in the head and he lost consciousness and control of his car you can see it in his in car camera.
If Mr. Brown signed it, it would have sold famously.
That is the realest signature ive seen in my entire lofe
