I never realized for the longest time that if you startle a girl real bad, she'll involuntarily pee a little bit. I can understand now why they'd get so mad when a boy'd sneak up in back of them and light off a firecracker, like if they were on the swings or something. Remember "torpedos"? Little bits of gun powder wrapped up in tiny paper wrappings. You'd throw em down on the street and get a very small explosion. Like a little cap gun sound. Back when my Uncle was a kid, 1930s-40s, the "torpedos" were MUCH bigger. Like half the bang of an M-80! I remember him bragging about throwing those out his window at girls on the street. They'd go into a rage like wet hens!

Itching powder was horrendous stuff, really not a good idea. Chances are it got in someones eyes. I feel sorry for kids today in general but i think its a good thing if no kid ever has to endure itching powder ever again.
At least Florence Henderson and Robert Reed's daughters had some acting talent. Much better than the girl who played Marcia's friend in another episode, you know, "Linda from Se-ATT-tul". That girl had to be related to one of the producers or writers, how in hell did she pass her screen test?
