Most of what you showed I really don’t know about… but I always love how you manage to pull out an album nobody has ever shown before… so kudos to you for that Tony🤘🏻
@@marc.g.with.a.c. Oh, okay. Yeah, Liferuiner are/were a solid deathcore band and No Saints is actually really good. I recommend giving it a go if you're interested, Marc.
Nice pickups! I need to hear the new The Cure as it seems to be getting universal praise. I was a bit afraid to listen after such a long break, haha. Cheers Tony!
Amazing CD collection. Great choices with the Black Dahlia Murder, System of a Down, Iron Maiden, the Cure, Linkin Park, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Breaking Benjamin. Here’s what I got on vinyl and CD over the past two months: CD: Septicflesh - The Great Mass Insomnium - One for Sorrow Suicide Silence - No Time to Bleed Dethklok - The Dethalbum Vinyl: Armored Saint - Delirious Nomad Kraftwerk - Autobahn Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure
Thanks for watching! All great releases in my opinion. Nice that you picked up that Septicflesh & Insomnium albums. Woah, I didn't know you collect vinyl as well.
Cool update, Tony. A nice variety of styles. I forgot Black Dahlia Murder had a new release out. I think Emily has brought something a bit different to Linkin Park. Enjoy your new tunes, mate 🤘
Thanks for watching Sean! Yep, I like to keep it diverse. Definitely check out the new Black Dahlia Murder album. It's a vicious and satisfying release IMO. I agree, Emily did brought something different to Linkin Park. In my opinion, it's the beginning of a new era for Linkin Park.
@@HM2dylanpowell Yeah, Fear of the Dark is definitely one of Maiden's best. Awesome you got to see them in Donington 1992. That must've an amazing show! Thanks for watching Dylan!
Nice update there. The whole wife-murder situation doesn't sit well with me so I can't enjoy any Lambesis-related music anymore - not even Austrian Death Machine which I used to love. 'Fear of the Dark' has some good songs on it - in particular some of the deep cuts. I like that Linkin Park went for a woman to do the vocals.
Thanks for watching Kim! I completely understand. I couldn't listen to any Lambesis-related bands he was in because of those reasons. But for As I Lay Dying's Through Storms Ahead; I took a chance and surprisingly, enjoyed it for the most part. Despite the fact that album got quite a lot of negative reviews. Iron Maiden's Fear of the Dark is a classic that I feel should be praised more IMO. There's lots of amazing songs on that album. I like that Linkin Park went for a woman to do the vocals as well. Despite the controversy surrounding her; I thought she did a good job filling in Chester's role.
@@This-Is-Music No, she didn't try to murder someone. There was backlash against her because of a scientologist fiasco. I can't remember the details but if you do some research; they're explain it better.
So many of these bands were my gateway into metal and collecting again, although I don't really listen or follow them now I still like and appreciate most of the albums I have by them. The Cure I was never into but I find I like a bit of goth rock these days. I'll have to check out those vocals on Opera even though I'm not much of a Fleshgod Apocalypse fan. Cool collection update Tony! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@pieface8032 Thanks for watching Simon! If you're into goth rock these days, I recommend the latest The Cure album. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Check out Fleshgod Apocalypse's Opera as well. It's a good one.
I will do a collection update soon, as things are starting to pile up around here. Some good new additions to your music stack Tony. System are an old favourite for me and like you i'm trying to complete my Maiden collection. Got the X-factor the other day. Robert Smith I think lost two people close to him, so might explain the funeral nature of their latest. An album i have played quite a bit. " Hoobastank " has got to be one of the worst band names of all time.😅Cheers Tony mate!.
@@AttackFromDownunda Looking forward to that collection update Keith. System of a Down are a fun band. I don't think I need everything from Iron Maiden. Just the essentials for me. Oh, I didn't know that. Maybe that's why the new Cure album felt more 'personal'. I agree, Hoobastank is a dumb band name 😆. Thanks for watching!
Cool you got the new As I Lay Dying and Black Dahlia Murder albums Tony. Never really been bothered about Fear of the dark, I'm not a fan of the title track. Liferuiner peaked my interest, can't say much else did, that's just me though haha! 🤘🏻
Thanks for watching Josh! Liferuiner might be a band you'll like if you're a fan of Suicide Silence, Whitechapel & Despised Icon. A solid deathcore release IMO. Do give them a shot. Both the new As I Lay Dying & The Black Dahlia Murder albums are great. I've warmed up to the former despite the Tim Lambesis controversies. Iron Maiden's Fear of the Dark is definitely one of my favorite Maiden albums. I'm glad to have it now.
@tainted_lord87 You're welcome mate! Ah nice, yeah I do like those bands, I'll definitely have to give Liferuiner a go! Thanks for bringing them to my attention. Nice one, I'm glad you like the new As I Lay Dying. The previous one was really good too. Yeah, I can put it aside if the music is good, and it's really good! Can understand if people aren't into them because of what happened. Ah ok that's cool, fair enough man. Glad you have it in your collection now 😁🤘🏻
I think album that was released before this was quite good. For this I haven't got into, though I have listened it couple times. But I guess I need to buy it in some point. Did you listen lates Austrian Death Machine? To me System of Down is one of those bands that, it is good to have all of their albums. I love that album cover of Maiden. Yeah, Emily definitely brought her own spin to the new Linkin Park album. I've grown to enjoy it a lot more.

Through Storms Ahead is a solid album for sure and I have it. I’ll admit, Black Dahlia Murder is not really for me. That System Of A Down album is pretty good. I’ll always have a soft spot for System Of A Down. Great band and I have all their stuff. Fleshgod is another band that’s not for me lol. Aurora is alright. I have it. Hoobastank has one song I like but that’s about it.
@@mjnation7876 Thanks for watching! Through Storms Ahead is admittingly a solid album. System of a Down's Mesmerize is a good album for sure. Iron Maiden's Fear of the Dark is one of their best 90's output. I've seen people put Linkin Park's From Zero in their worst albums of 2024 list. I didn't think it was that bad. But whatever.
