5 Death Metal Albums I Would Save During a Zombie Apocalypse
You can’t go wrong with those three classics
@@MetalNeverDieswithMarkA Indeed. They're all amazing! Thanks for watching Mark!
A good overview there Tony. As long as you know where things are in the order then that's the main thing. I'm sure we've all been there with albums arranged all over the place.
@@GRockVC Thanks for watching. I'm sure we have. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Cool pickups Tony! Love those Megadeth and Morbid Angel albums, absolute classics! Never really listened to White Zombie. Nice one man 😁🤘🏻
@@JoshKeech Thanks for watching Josh! Yeah, you can't go wrong with Megadeth and Morbid Angel. Those albums from them are classics. White Zombie are an acquired taste. You really need to be in the right mood to enjoy them (At least, to me). But Astro-Creep: 2000 is also a classic from White Zombie.
@@tainted_lord87 You're welcome mate! Yeah, those albums are fantastic! Can't go wrong indeed. Ahh ok, fair enough. Yeah I'll have to try White Zombie to see what I think, if they'll be for me. That's cool though 😁🤘🏻
Nice finds, Tony!
@@n0s0luti0n Thanks Scott! All classic & iconic. 🤘🤘🤘
All classics Tony!
@@georgegsroomofrock9868 Indeed they are, George! Thanks for watching!
Nce pick-ups there :)
@@This-Is-Music Thanks Kim! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Classic albums there Tony Good stuff 🤘
@@metalmartymac Indeed they are, Marty! 😁 Thanks for watching!
Great update Tony; Megadeth’s Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying, Morbid Angel’s Altars of Madness, and White Zombie’s Astro-Creep: 2000 are all iconic and classic metal albums. I even got Astro-Creep: 2000 this year on CD and it’s an album I never stop playing.
@@mindful2864 Thanks for watching! Yes, all 3 albums are indeed iconic and classics. Everyone should already know about these albums. Wow! We both got Astro-Creep: 2000 this year. 🤘😁🤘
Nice update Tony! I have that Fear Factory EP CD too. Its great. I want to pick up that latest Stones CD sometime. Been waiting to find it used somewhere. Saw them live once in the 2000s and it was awesome! Great Maiden pick up and Depeche Mode. Classics for the collection.
@@LowNoiseJasonSkilz Thanks again for watching Jason! That Fear Factory EP is an underappreciated release. The Rolling Stones Hackney Diamonds album is surprisingly good. Yeah, that Iron Maiden and Depeche Mode are classics for sure.
Congrats on the new additions! Love that Morbid Angel album. And been getting into White Zombie too. Cheers man!
@@LowNoiseJasonSkilz Thanks for watching Jason! Morbid Angel's Altar of Madness is an undisputed classic! I'm slowly getting into White Zombie as well. Astro-Creep 2000 is definitely their most well-known album.
Everyone needs Altar of Madness in their collection Tony, mandatory, hehe. Do have on album by Rob Zombie, the one before that one you picked up. He does have his moments, some really cool songs, but some are just to weird for me. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@rogerkjorvik Thanks for watching Roger! I agree, Morbid Angel's Altar of Madness needs to be in every metalheads collection. I think you're talking about White Zombie's La Sexorcisto Devil Music Vol 1. I actually never heard that album. Rob Zombie does have some cool albums and songs for sure. Yeah, Rob Zombie's weirdness is an acquired taste.
Peace Sells is a masterlass in thrash metal. Even if you kept only the first two songs (Wake Up Dead / The Conjuring) and threw out the rest, it would still be, in my opinion, the best thrash album ever recorded.
3 classics alright Tony. Take care mate. 👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@theblackenedhymnschannel3985 Thanks for watching! Yep, 3 classics indeed! 🤘😎👍
Good to see ya back Toney all 3 albums good and solid Yeahh 😎 🤘
@@SamuraiRed-ui4ww Thanks for watching! Yep, you can't go wrong with those 3 albums 😁🤘.
Oh Powerwolf has released new album. Though it isn't my favorite one. I'll isten it. mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)
@@BadEnglishRecs It's still a good Powerwolf album. Thanks for watching mr. Finglish.
Great response there Tony. Good selection of styles. I think all the bands you've chosen would have had motorhead as an influence and Yeah Lemmy seems like he's been there from the very start, do definitely worthy of a place.
Good to hear about some new bands Tony. A few I've come across before. From what I remember of Danko Jones they were pretty good.
good response there Tony. Nice to see some more modern bands there and a nice mix of styles.
Good response there Tony. Can't argue with your choices, all great albums.
@@GRockVC Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Nice update there Tony. Cool to find Emperor, great find that. Enjoy the new music.
@@GRockVC Thanks for watching! Yeah I got lucky when I found that Emperor album 😁.
Good to see some Cradle of filth and system in there Tony, all very good albums.
@@GRockVC Thanks for watching. Yeah, Cradle of Filth and System of a Down are both great.
Cool update there Tony. I do like Sum 41 so it is nice to see someone showing their new album. I still need to listen to it in full actually, as you can see I'm a bit behind with things. Order in decline is a good album, picked it up when it came out. Solid Ale Storm album, t's what you expect of them, good album title, they weren't going to let that one go to waste.
@@GRockVC Thanks for watching! Yeah, Sum 41's Heaven/Hell is a good final album from them. Great way to end the band on a high note. Order in Decline is also a really good album from them. Alestorm 's Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum is a fun excellent album from them.
Really good response there Tony. All very evil albums!
@@GRockVC Thanks for watching! Indeed they are. 😈
The new Nile is fantastic! The Stones album is really good! Great update!!
@@georgegsroomofrock9868 Thanks for watching George! Yeah, the new Nile is a scorcher! 🤘🔥🔥🤘 I'm not the biggest Rolling Stones fan but Hackney Diamonds surprised me by how good it was.
@@tainted_lord87 me too!
I do like some cheese in my power metal🧀that " Powerwolf " looks the business Tony. I love the artwork for the " Nile" albums and have listened to their latest, way to heavy for me to get a lot out of it really. But I was surprised how much I liked the latest " Ulcerate ", as that was the type of mood i was in at the time. I have a lot of Rolling Stones releases but not their latest for some reason. I have been told it was a good Stones record. Cheers mate!.
@@AttackFromDownunda Thanks for watching Keith! Yeah definitely check out Powerwolf if you want some over-the-top badass power metal with a good amount of 🧀. You should give the latest Nile another listen. I promise you it's a grower. I'm not the biggest Rolling Stones fan but I surprisingly enjoyed Hackney Diamonds from them. It's indeed a good Stones album.
I still haven't spun the new Nile album. I do have all the early Fear Factory albums but haven't listened to them for a while now. Power metal is really hit and miss with me as sometimes I like some and most times I don't 😅 I've kinda got negative feelings for the Rolling Stones but never really listened to more than a few songs. I'm slowly getting all the 80s Iron Maiden releases and Piece of Mind is a good addition to your collection Tony! Nice update my friend 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@pieface8032 Thanks for watching Simon! You got to give the new Nile album a spin. It's so damn good IMO. Funny enough, Fear Factory's Fear Is the Mindkiller EP is one Fear Factory album I haven't listened too until now. It's pretty good for what it is. Yeah, Powerwolf might not be for you if you feel that way about power metal 😅. I only know two Rolling Stones songs and that's about it. I was never a huge fan but bought their latest album as a blind buy. It's pretty good I must say. Yeah, Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind is an undisputed classic! 🤘🤘
Powerwolf 🙌🐺🔥🙏🌕 Pow-wer-wolf👏👏👏 😂
Music for the masses is one of their best. Along with "Violator", "Songs of Faith and Devotion", and "Black Celebration"
@@CHUMP-CHANGE Indeed.
Cool to see the new Nile album in your collection mate, remember Mushroom head back in the day and never really got into them. Mad to think of all the Slipknot comparisons they have but musically, couldn't be more different haha!
@@TheDeathDoomMetalHead Thanks for watching Liam! Yeah, the new Nile is a ripper. I haven't listened to Mushroomhead in a long time up until I bought their new one. Yeah, the Slipknot comparisons were ridiculous.
Hi Tony, how are you? Nice update! I like so much Iron Maiden and Powerwolf! Cheers and hugs of Brazil!
@@montebugnoli72 Thanks for watching. Yeah, that Iron Maiden and Powerwolf are great.
Depeche Mode IS INDEED music for the masses! I actually don't have Fear is the Mindkiller and am generally more of a fan of their 90s era. Good pulls Tony… nice to see the Stones somehow are still able to do their things after all these decades. Piece of Mind was my introduction to Maiden, essential classic!
@@thedreadfulminutes Thanks for watching! Yeah, you can't go wrong with Depeche Mode. Fear Factory's Fear Is the Mindkiller EP is very different as it's a remix album that focuses on electronic/industrial music. It's hardly death metal at all. But it's an interesting release to check out. I'm not a Rolling Stones fan but I bought Hackney Diamonds out of curiosity. It turned out to be a pretty good album surprisingly. Oh awesome! Great Iron Maiden album to introduce you to the band. Piece of Mind is indeed an essential classic!
Great CD collection update Tony. Yesterday was my birthday. Great choices with Fear Factory, Nile, Powerwolf, The Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, and Depeche Mode. Fear Factory’s Mechanize is one of their best. Nile’s the Underworld Awaits Us All is I think their best since Those Whom the Gods Detest. Iron Maiden’s Piece of Mind is an absolute classic and one of their best. I got one CD recently and it’s SepticFlesh’s the Great Mass.
@@mindful2864 Happy birthday! Even though it was yesterday 😅. Thanks for watching! Fear Factory's Mechanize is definitely one of the best of the Burton-era. Nile's The Underworld Awaits Us All is my first real introduction to Nile's music. Even though, I had heard of them before. Such a banger of an album. Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind is a undisputed classic for sure. I'm glad you got Septicflesh The Great Mass. It's a good album from them.
I have owned the debut Fear Factory cd since it was released but to be honest I am not a big fan of it. Their follow up Demanufacture however was 1 of my favourite albums of the 90s. I may enjoy the remix of the songs from Soul of a machine if it’s more industrial like Demanufacture. I have been meaning to grab the new Mushroomhead as I really enjoy the female vocals on it. I much prefer Wake Up The Wicked than their last album. Much more memorable to me. Like you I am a big fan of he song Paint It Black but thats about it for me when it comes to the Stones. Piece Of Mind is the only Maiden album I am missing from their 80s catalogue on vinyl but will grab it eventually as the reissues are easy to come by. Great update mate😀🤘
@@metaldownunder666 Thanks for watching Nathan! Yeah, Fear Factory's Fear Is the Mindkiller EP is a remix album that's more industrial/electronic. That might be interesting to check out. The new Mushroomhead is a good album to check out. Powerwolf's Wake Up the Wicked is an excellent album. Definitely check it out! Yeah, Rolling Stones Paint It Black is one of the few songs I instantly know from them. But Hackney Diamonds turned out to be a pretty good album from them. Yeah, you should pick up Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind vinyl reissue soon.
My friends used to blast those Fear Factory CDS all the time, so many times in fact I don't need to hear them again. LOL, just kidding.. I need to pick up those up again one of these days. Nice mix of stuff here, Love the new Nile. Of course that IRON MAIDEN is a great album. Love Depeche Mode. Great CD collection update.
@@stevesekora Thanks for watching Steve! Yeah, those Fear Factory albums are absolute bangers. The new Nile absolutely rips! Excellent stuff! Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind is a classic for sure! You can't go wrong with Depeche Mode IMO.
Great update. It's a nice cross-section of genres. I would like to get Nile, Powerwolf and Depeche Mode on cd myself.
@@trinimetalgrooves Thanks for watching! Yeah, do check out those albums from those bands.
Epic update indeed. I've heard about Mushroomhead, but I've never actually heard any of their music. Seems to be the case with a lot of bands from that era. I guess it's a generational thing. I've heard the Stones album once, and some of the songs even seemed abit punky. 'Piece of Mind' is one of my favorites :) Love me some Depeche Mode. Nemophila did a pretty good cover version of Linkin Park's "Given Up". For a second, I thought you were going to show an album by the Japanese 80s band Presence.
@@This-Is-Music Thanks for watching Kim! Mushroomhead are like a blend of industrial metal/rock and nu-metal. But on Call the Devil; they lean more towards the former. It's surprising good....at least to me. I never heard any Rolling Stones album before Hackney Diamonds. But, I bought it out of a rim and turned out to be pretty good. Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind is a undisputed classic! 🤘🤘 You can't go wrong with Depeche Mode 👍. I'll have to check out Nemophila's cover of Linkin Park's Given Up. Sounds very interesting. Nope, this Presence are an entirely different band than the one you mentioned.
Nice update Tony. Diverse as well. You can't go wrong with Piece Of Mind and some Depeche Mode. The new Nile is a banger. Have fun playing all these albums.
@@WanderingSoulsWebzine Thanks for watching Mark! Yeah, I like to keep it diverse and interesting 😁👍. Depeche Mode's Music for the Masses & Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind are both 80's classics.
Good update Tony. A couple here you will never find in my collection, hehe. Need to get on the new Nile. Piece of Mind is my second favourite Maiden album. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@rogerkjorvik Thanks for watching Roger! I think I know which bands you're talking about and I completely understand 😅. Yeah, the new Nile is a ripper. Being my first Nile album; I'm kicking myself for not getting into them way earlier 😅. Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind is an undisputed classic! 🤘🤘
I love minutes to midnight album
@@bmas020 It's a good album for sure.
Overkill is so under-rated. Thanks Tony for the recommendation for "Wings of War". I had not heard it at all, I will definately track it down if I can. The last album "Scorched" is incredible in it's thrash power, and sounds like they are on a late hot streak. I feel out in the 90's and 00's with them, but they are making the best albums of their career right now.
@@H-mu4bo No problem! Hope you enjoy The Wings of War from Overkill.
Wings of War is fantastic! I don't own many Overkill releases but that one is by far my favourite. Haven't got any of the later Sepultura albums. You certainly finished with a strong one THWG is a great one! Cool stuff Tony! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@pieface8032 Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it Simon! Yeah, Overkill's The Wings of War absolutely annihilate! 🤘😎😲 The last three Sepultura albums were really damn good! Definitely check them out! Deicide's To Hell with God is underrated but an awesome album.
All these bands I know, but not listened to a single one of these albums! The ones I'd wanna listen to the most would be The black Dahlia Murder, Overkill, Sepultura and Deicide 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@JoshKeech Oh man Josh, you're missing out! You have to check out those albums I showed off! They're all amazing and worth your time.
@tainted_lord87 Yeah man, to be fair I am pretty new to all these bands. But I definitely will check out that Overkill and Sepultura, I have them on my list to pick up. I think I have that Black Dahlia Murder too! Yeah I'm sure I'll enjoy them, cheers 😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
Nice picks once again :)
@@This-Is-Music Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed them, Kim!
Saxon and Overkill are excellent albums! Not into Deicide but that is just ny taste. Good stuff Tony!
@@georgegsroomofrock9868 Thanks for watching George! Yeah, both that Saxon & Overkill are excellent indeed! Really? I actually thought you were into Deicide. I guess I was mistaken.
@@tainted_lord87 I've tried with Deicide but it just hasn't clicked!
I do like to listen to albums that fans of bands rank either in the middle or lower. I think some of these albums might fall into that category. " Wings Of War " I enjoy but not Overkills top tier for me. Those 90's, 2000's Saxon albums i need to investigate a bit more. I was playing " The Power And The Glory " by Saxon today and liking it. Both bands been around forever.
@@AttackFromDownunda I need to check out 90's and 2000's era Saxon as well. Yeah, you're right. Overkill and Saxon has been around for a really long time. Thanks for watching Keith!
It's hard to believe that Overkill was formed only 3 years after Saxon, so both bands has now been around for over 4 decades each, and Saxon quickly approaching 50 years of career. I am still behind on checking some of the later Sepultura albums lol
@@GustavoScafuro Yeah, that's crazy to think about. Even crazier to think that they're both been around for over 4 decades 🤯😲. Saxon approaching 50.....Wow. You should check out the later Sepultura albums. Especially the last 3 albums from them. They've brought the thrash back. 🤘🤘
Killswitch Engage i believe are the support band for Iron Maiden. So i will be seeing them live on Monday. I have listened to them a little bit , but not that album. That L.O.G album you showed is the only thing i own from them and your description is pretty accurate of their music. Nice plug for Enchantment and Marc G. Their next album i do enjoy. Cheers Tony mate🤘
@@AttackFromDownunda Awesome that you're seeing Iron Maiden live this coming Monday, Keith! Killswitch Engage are a interesting opening band. Incarnate is definitely a KSE album to check out. That's my experience with Lamb of God and Sacrament is a good album from them. Hopefully we get a 3rd album from Enchantment in the future. Thanks for watching!
Likeeee
Just looked up that Necropolis album on discogs definitely looks like a rare one as there's none for sale and it looks like only one has ever been sold (but I didn't check that). It says it's on Zap records which definitely sounds like a really obscure label. Super find Tony! Enchantment sounds like one to check out 😉😂🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@pieface8032 Thanks for watching Simon! That Necropolis album is super rare. I found that at a local flea market last year I think. Super glad I decided to buy it. Yeah, Enchantment are a awesome death/doom metal band to check out! Hope they put out a third album! 😉😎😈🤘
Amazing choices with Killswitch Engage’s Incarnate and Lamb of God’s Sacrament. Lamb of God’s Sacrament is a classic and Killswitch Engage’d Incarnate is my favorite newer album of theirs.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, both Killswitch Engage's Incarnate & Lamb of God's Sacrament are both really good albums from them.
