Does the performance model 3 have the summon feature. I have the model 3 highland rear wheel and this model does not seem to have this feature. I was wondering if the other models in the 3 category do?
@@wowdude1008 Honestly for me it''s perfect. I drive pretty fast on the freeway and they help me a lot since I don't have to keep moving my head too much to the right or left to see it. It's at the PERFECT angle for me literally. Makes me a lot more focused on the road
But the blind spots in the mirrors are ugly & distracting and half the Tesla users don’t even use the mirrors usually so the blind spots in a position where you don’t have to turn your head is good and some other brands do it that way too
Yeah if you turn on dark mode (auto off) and auto brightness off and set it to 100% it works pretty well but they should definitely fix it in software or do flashing red for blind spots and green for regen etc
Yes but it dims again if you put it in drive, I tried this last night. So dumb and I hope they fix this because it's not that bright anyways to the point where it would "distract" or "blind" you. I've had a mercedes before with ambient lighting EVERYWHERE (stock) and it was wayyy brighter. Had no issues driving at night.

In reference to the dome lights this is why I turned the setting off when getting in the car I don't want people to know my business or draw attention to myself and I have limo tint all the way around my refreshed M3 LR and yes I absolutely love this car!!!
I love my new Model 3 Ludicrous, too. While I waited for delivery, I ordered after market stuff to fill in any potential Tesla omissions, including a set of winter tires mounted on UP-03 wheels. 😂
I agree my turn signals are getting stuck as well. Everyone is complaining about these turn signals getting stuck. I think there may be a re-call as this is a safety issue. Tesla needs to address this asap ! Other than that & beside the panel gaps 🙄 the car is amazing 🤩⚡️

After driving my 2018 M3P for 6 years I just upgraded to the 2024 M3P. * I agree with almost everything you mention in your 2024 M3P videos except I'm not having problems with the turn signals responding...you should get the hardware checked out on yours * I AM having problems when my hands aren't at "10 and 2" (like they teach us in driver's Ed) and need to activate the turn signal (like after I've just turned and need to make another quick turn...seems like a design flaw and potential safety issue). * I used your advice and videoed the entire car before leaving so I had evidence of what it looked like.
Is the ride quality really better than the LR? Im torn between the 2, only because i assume thr LR would have a much better ride. I did drive both and couldnt tell a huge difference but curious what others think
This is actually my first venture into the EV world. My previous car was a Chevy TrailBoss 4x4 that got like 9MPG. I love everything about the new Performance. The 0-60 is truly “insane.” Getting rid of the stalks really brought the minimalist look to a whole nother level. The sound system is better than I would expect for this price point and speaking of price point, my buddy had the previous Performance. He paid more for his 18. For what I got, I really believe this thing could have been in the mid $70’s to $80k. What really put it over the top for me are the new seats and really the whole interior. This is a performance car. The interior should look like one and now it does. The only take way, though it isn’t easy to come up with any, I thought the 24 would have had more of a re-skin. The improvements are nice. But, it’s not that much different from the last gen. I am afraid there will be a complete remodel in the near future and I will be caught in no mans land. Also, why do you have to buy and install homelink? That seems like something that should be standard equipment. My other car is a 991 and It’s going to get a lot of garage time for the foreseeable future.
I just got mine. Not a fan of the high beams button. You have to hold it down 1 second to activate, the thumb position is not natural, and if you push too hard you activate the blinkers. Eliminating the stalks was pretty stupid actually.

@@jeffvanderwyst422 overall yes, super fast around town which is most of my driving, surprisingly fun to drive, can really do some precision driving with the instant torque. it's not the autobahn missile the m340xi is and i don't think anyone expects the interior quality to be at the same level (sound system is up there though, perhaps even a bit better!) i love never visiting a gas station anymore, charging at home works really well
Appreciate the honest feedback on the 60-70+ acceleration, and explaining how it isn't necessarily all just about numbers and winning races... I'll stick with my S Plaid 💪
The '24 M3P looks gorgeous. I agree the LED internal lights need to be shown at the brightness when choosing the color in the first place from the color palette. I really like having that light as to not feel so claustrophobic at night (with having no heads up display). I haven't had any issues with the turn signal buttons on mine. They have been consistent and reliable. Might be luck of the draw.

Getting rid of stalks was a big mistake if you ask me. Nobody was complaining about them and the car is “touch sensitive” enough. It’s ok to have physical controls for the main controls that are used frequently. What’s next? A touch screen steering wheel? Bring back the stalks please.

I ordered my car last week and I'm conflicted on if I should cancel it and get the Long Range version what are your thoughts on this for other people. I do love the performance more I am just wondering if the 10k price jump for it is worth it compared to the long range.
That sounds like a choice you need to iron out. Each buyer will have different needs and likes. This guy likes the speed and does not mind tire swapping and the general headache of it all. Think about what your expected needs will be, and go from there.
My favorite thing is getting the EDD pushed back and back again.....While some west coasters order later and get there's way sooner alll to make quarter numbers. Come on Tesla, you are going to loose customers,. Don't push a estimate when ordering just to make the quarter. There are other players in your sandbox now, If EDD for east cost is 3 mo later state that when ordering. don't bait and switch.
Is the USB stick under warranty? ... the old one (in my TM3P 2022) wasn't and it had it written right on the body. Maybe it varies by region Europe, America, Asia. The old one(original) stopped working for me last month so it didn't even last 2years.
Turn signal is a Major issue. I've driven the 2024 Model S and Model 3 and the signal capacitive button gets stuck. Not only that at time the other direction signal goes off. Imagine going right and the left signal goes off... 😬 This is a major Hazzard

Hard for Tesla to give you a reason to buy a Plaid with the M3P so good and so cheap. The M3 is 90% of the car for 60% of the price, plus eligible for the tax credit, or at least until it gets eliminated.
Q: how long tires last with the staggered config doing the side by side rotation? any problems with hydroplaning with those summer tires knowing that you previously drove the previous M3P. Thanks.
Staggered setups tend to not last as long as square setups especially when you’re a little heavy on the pedal. As for wet performance, they were fine on my old 3 so i expect them to be fine here.
and you will end up with scuffed paint around the lip because Teslas have the absolute worst paint in the auto industry. We have a 2020 M3P and it looks like hell around the latch. Just wait 3 seconds.

9:40 The new red dot for the blind spot is perfectly fine honestly. I think a light that is flashing would be really distracting
Or they could have done it like any other car and put it on the side mirrors which would have made them more useful

The audible is nice on my wife's Honda. Turn the signal on and if the blind spot is occupied it will do a quick beep beep.
FYI: I heard If your screen / display brightness is maxed ,the led strip lights are get brighter

I did 🤷🏻♂️🫡it is a big improvement in most areas. The trunk opening ticks me off as I have bumped my head a couple times

just got a LR, here in Canada the performance is 15k more as it doesn’t qualify for 5k tax insentive
Can you dim or change the brightness on the light strip?
Have you seen anything about 18” tsportsline wheels fitting these model 3 performance brakes?
They fit, the current fastest 1/4 at 10.75 was actually done on a set of 18 TS5s
