Man with the quality of this video I would’ve thought you’ve been making videos for years! Welcome to being a creator! Awesome video. Can’t wait until I get a model 3 performance!
Congrats on the first video! I drove the Tesla M 3 Performance a few weeks ago and it was amazing. As soon as i can afford to buy one i'll pull the trigger and get it. The price seem very affordable too, for a car with apple level technology in the infotainment and BMW M3 performance when it comes to speed. It was the first E-vehicle i drove and i'm very surprised how much i liked it.
Thanks!! Definitely the best bang for your buck for all the tech and performance you get! If you don’t get FSD and qualify for the federal tax credit (while it lasts) it can be pretty affordable! I just made a video on how much it costs me so you can learn from my mistakes lol
monthly payments: I am beginning to face this now as an 80 yo. How will I stop these payments when I die? Newspapers, magazines etc. and of course, Tesla premium subscriptions.
We recently purchased a used Model 3 LR AWD and we love it. The only thing I like more about the 24 is the ambient lighting and the automatic frunk opening.
thank you for the video I’m looking to also get first EV before the end of the year, have you experimented with using voice control for some of these things? Did you also buy the very expensive garage door electronics that require Tesla technician installation?
I’ve started using voice controls a lot more recently and they really do help. It saves time from trying to dig through the menus for a specific setting or function. I didn’t buy the garage door electronics, I’ve heard mixed reviews on those. If you’re considering getting a Tesla as your first EV, consider using our referral code in the description to save you some money!
I just got a Long Range in Red. And i love it. Although I really wanted the Performance, but the long range it's very fast too. I just really wanted the seats and the front bumper, but overall I'm so happy with it. I had it for about a week. I love the Panda Color. If you tint the headlights/tailights it going to look even more pandaish. Great look. You forgot to mentioned how amazing the FSD is. Its nice to be driven with minimal effort.
That’s awesome, the new red looks so good! Glad you like it! I’ve been thinking about tinting the headlights/taillights, but can’t decide. FSD is so awesome, I’m planning on making a video all about the driving (and being driven with FSD) experience soon!
Congratulations on the amazing quality of your work! Your channel has huge potential-great content and impressive video quality. Proud to be one of your first 100 subscribers. Excited to see what’s next, keep it up! 🙌
This really means a ton, thank you! I really appreciate you being here and this generous encouragement. Super excited for the videos that are currently in the works. Can’t wait to share them! More soon 🤝
Would be curious how other carmakers handle it. But I guess that someone has to pay to the cell network operator for the connectivity, when its using it for non-safety reasons. So that might be reason for the subscription.
That’s understandable, it may have gotten to the point with so many Teslas on the road that they needed to pay a lot more for cell network operators and started passing down that cost to owners
It’s surprisingly pretty comfortable! These summer tires also do a great job of handling bumps in the road too. I have a lot of thoughts to share in an upcoming driving experience video. Stay tuned!
As long as the monthly fee for Premium Connectivity stays at $10/mo or $100/yr (i think?) - I'm ok with it. Tesla has a lot of amazing app features that require a high bandwidth internet connection. For example, video streaming is something that has a pretty high bandwidth requirement. Other companies' "subscription" options are 100% cash grabs, for sure.
Agreed! Let’s hope they don’t increase the price anytime soon! The music and video is streaming is amazing, especially when charging at super chargers ⚡️
Do you live in an area where it gets cold? I’m trying to figure out if I should get all seasons or winter tires for my new M3P. I’m so torn up about it haha
I live in the PNW, we don’t typically get really cold winters but my wife and I do like going up to the mountains to hike and snowboard. It was a tough call for me too! Ultimately, I went with the summer tires and am saving up for those winter tires, might have to skip this snowboarding season lol
Great video btw, i have a question though What percentage level are your tints , it looks niceeeeeee! I have the same model/color except i have black seats & im looking at what percent i want on my tints, yours is perfect bro
Appreciate the support bro! I went with 15% but because I have the white seats it makes them look a bit lighter than that. Really like how they turned out, hope that helps!
Great video! I'm coming from a 2021 Long Range, but I just picked up a 2024 M3P. It is from Giga Shanghai. I miss my 2021 though. It went with me on lots of good road trips over the last few years. But the highland is so much more refined. I got a white one too, but with black interior. I hope you continue to enjoy it! I like the T E S L A logo in the back, but I haven't ever seen someone take it off. I have to say it looks pretty good!
Thanks, I definitely see myself enjoying this car for many years to come! I’m curious, what do you think is the biggest improvement going from a 2021 LR to the 2024 M3P?
@@Luis.Gonsalez It feels like a different car, but of course it didn't take much getting used to. The ride is much better, no rattles, feels more solid & quiet. Build quality seems better too. Agreed! Based off of what I had heard and read online I expected to have at least some rattles, but they’ve really improved the fit and finish for this refresh!
Good eye! We were driving through the area, so many beautiful places in Edmonds, especially by the water! Congrats on your new M3P, what color did you go with?
@@Luis.Gonsalez stealth gray, not my first choice but it kept it under the price point to qualify for the $7500 credit. All the other paint colors were extra cost and brought it over $55k, otherwise I would have got the quicksilver paint.

You’ve probably heard this already, but really take your time looking through the car and record as much as you can before you sign for it. I almost missed a small window crack on my Tesla!
Bro my car model y is also named panda lol. But it’s black exterior and white interior. And my tip for you with the glove box or anything hidden in the screen is to use voice commands
Subscription model is valid. Tesla is selling you a car. Not an internet service. Would you complain to the real estate agent that the house you bought has no free internet? For the lack of buttons buy sexy buttons from enhance. Otherwise great first video, way better than mine.
I see your point, but I think that a subscription model can be taken too far. Like BMW locking heated seats and other features behind a subscription, where before you would pay a one time fee. To use your example, I wouldn’t complain about no free internet in my house but I would if I had to pay a monthly fee to use doors, windows, or a garage that are already a part of the house. Hands down this is Tesla’s best car for the buck. The blinkers are brutal !! Unfortunately, with the 2024 performance model there’s an issue with the rear drive shaft leaking oil. Tesla now has a TSB out for a repair that looks like a shady MacGyver fix 😡
Subscription for premium connectivity is worth it because of unlimited data alone. It's really worth it for anyone who wants to use the internet in the car. If you don't want, just use mobile data, don't subscribe. Simple
That’s true, but my issue is with features being turned into a subscription model in the first place. Especially when Tesla use to offer all its connectivity features included in the price of the car. It encourages other manufacturers to turn what were once standard features into a subscription, like BMW asking for a monthly fee for heated seats…
@Luis.Gonsalez it's the world we live in. i agree, what other OEMs are doing is very bad. But remember this 6-7 years before Tesla used to charge for simple lane keeping autopilot now which is free and Tesla cut vehicle prices massively from 50k base model 3 to 38k huge difference with improved materials where other OEMs are increasing their price and can't ever OTA update. You have to go to the dealer to fix the OTA update lol. And all of the updates are free of charge also. You don't have to pay for your heated or ventilated seats. Base model 3 is the best value for money car in the world imo. My suggestion, never pay for a subscription anyway.
Unfortunately that is the world we live in! But that shouldn’t keep us from voicing our opinions. Completely agree, based on model 3 is definitely the best value for the money
@@Luis.Gonsalez I understand the concern, but when it comes to Tesla's subscription model, especially for streaming and connectivity, it actually makes a lot of sense. Tesla’s Premium Connectivity, for instance, offers features like live traffic visualization, satellite maps, and in-car streaming services. These are ongoing services that rely on cellular data, licensing, and server infrastructure, which come with recurring costs. By making it a subscription, Tesla ensures that only those who actively use these features are paying for them. It’s different from something like BMW’s heated seat subscription, where you’re being charged for hardware that’s already built into the car. A subscription allows Tesla to keep those systems up-to-date and running smoothly without burdening all owners with the costs.
@ It feels more like, don't you earn enough? It is the tokenization of everything. And in the end it is not even cheaper. People are getting fed up with it.
Agreed, it's really not. Simply sharing my experience, opening a car door is usually just as easy with your left or right hand. In the Tesla Model 3, the handles are flush with the door, making it easier to open with a different hand depending on what side of the car you are on

Me too! I’m not sure if Tesla has ever changed the headliner color/material in any the model 3s. That would be a sweet upgrade

@ It feels more like, don't you earn enough? It is the tokenization of everything. And in the end it is not even cheaper. People are getting fed up with it.
Yes, exactly!! I know I’m fed up with it

Here in the uk 🇬🇧 they are way too much money
Starting from £60k 😳
definitely not worth that much
and you guys get screwed in the power and performance dept vs the US.
@ yeh but they advertise that it goes 0-60 2.9 seconds here in uk 🇬🇧
In every video they never reach them times so that’s false advertising 🤷🏻♂️

If you've never owned a high-power vehicle at all, just get the RWD or Dual Motor.
Definitely! 4.9 sec and 4.2 sec 0-60 is still super quick
Did this guy just tell us which hamd to use to open a door? Its not that deep bro. It really isnt
Agreed, it's really not. Simply sharing my experience, opening a car door is usually just as easy with your left or right hand. In the Tesla Model 3, the handles are flush with the door, making it easier to open with a different hand depending on what side of the car you are on
