The taking a video at delivery really helped! We noticed a ding on our MY a week after delivery and reviewed the video it was there at delivery. Filed a service request uploaded the clip and Tesla fixed it no charge
Just took delivery of my very first Tesla, a Model 3 Highland. And, I absolutely love it. I followed your instructions on the day of delivery, and am so thankful for it. This car is absolutely unbelievable in every way. Sure, it has some issues with the software, but that's the thing, it's only going to get better with time, which I'm completely ok with. Thanks for your videos!
What is the issue with the software you are talking about? I am also waiting for mine to be delivered in 6 days
@@CatsCatsMeow Nothing to worry about mate. Just the usual things like no Apple CarPlay, roundabouts are sometimes an issue with cancelling indicating upon exit, lack of apps in Australia vs the US, ghost braking intermittently - all of which I'm sure will be resolved in future software updates. Other than that, it is impossible to fault.

Hyundai however, didn’t think about activating the brake lights with the ioniq 5 originally. They would only activate if you fully lift off the accelerator. Tesla uses 0.2Gs of deceleration as the metric to enable brake lights, and Hyundai has adopted a similar if not the same approach. Side note: it was illegal in the EU for EVs to enable the brake lights with regen at all until circa 2017.

I am going to upgrade from a 2017 Bolt EV to a 2024 Tesla Model Y. I was sold the moment I sat behind the wheel.
Picked up my MYP yesterday and it included a Type 2 to Type 2 Cable and a home charger, not sure if its a UK thing or a MYP thing but was happy to see it as I know you've mentioned in another video that tesla no longer give you a Granny charger.
I believe there are EU laws about having to include a charger.
Hi mate, just so that I'm clear what chargers come with the car in the UK? I've just ordered one on my Salary Sacrifice scheme and didn't have any options to buy any chargers/leads. Many thanks in advance.
@@keithyp8427 I got a Type 2 to Type 2 Long blue Mennekes cable I've not meassured it but looking online they seem to be 7.5m worth £275. It just comes in thin clear plastic bag but I just keep it in the frunk, have litterally used it for charging once as most public charging I do is on CCS either Supercharger or a 50kW CCS public charger, although I did use it for the first time yesterday on a type 2 charger at the metrocentre which was useful.
You also get a Three pin plug to tesla cable which comes with a carry case this is worth £180. But is incredibly slow at charging, I'm moving house at the end of june so will buy a proper charger when I move house but the three pin can be useful in a pinch say I was staying at a friends house or an Air B&B with no charger ect. the only thing I bought was this toughleads.co.uk/collections/ev-electric-vehicle-extension-leads/products/ev-extension-lead as my outside socket is at the rear of the house and I didn't want to leave the living room window open.
just took delivery of my model y and caught a scratch. They swapped it out with another immediately.
I just found out that the new Model 3 (which I just ordered) eliminates "creep" and "roll." I'm wondering how people inch forward or backward 2-3 inches in tight spots . . .

Sadly, the screen protector is not compatible with the new refreshed Model 3 nor is the referral program. At least the LR model comes with cloth floor mats to get started.
Tesstuff should have new M3 screen protectors (front and rear) in 1-2 weeks

I like what you mentioned about the dash cam. Although I noticed in some comments, people wanting stuff for free rather than having to pay for the checklist. Clearly, these are not basic checklist and he mentions that it took him time to put it together. It sounds like a lot of people here are wanting people to work for free, that’s just comical
