Thanks for interviewing and spotlighting one of my favorite living Tempts. I hope he finally is on the road to getting the recognition that his talent warrants. Glad he is betting on himself! The Tempts on Sinbad is a great display of his talent. I have got to find the other one.
Greetings brother and another great interview! My only question would be why did Theo replace Richard, and is there more to Richard Street’s story. The man spent over 20 years in the Tempts (only Ron, Melvin, and Otis went longer), he was on their second Grammy (Papa Was a Rolling Stone), however, he is seldom mentioned by Otis or most Tempts historians.
I was fortunate enough to sit and chat to Theo, his wife Daphne, and Harry, for a few hours after a show in Manchester. Theo was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to talk to. I also happen to think he's an amazing singer with an amazing voice.

Peoples did the lead on STAY! TEMPTATIONS back on the map hit! but was not on the CD cover! GC cameron nephew took that spot who now sings with the Stylistics!
Okay this is what's NOT gonna happen. One: Melvin was aware of Ray stepping in for him to finish off the shows and that national anthem appearance Two: Otis his family and Smokey were the ones who knew just how worse his health had become to where whether he had passed or not. He was retaining too.much water and his system was on the downside it gotten to where there was no way he could've continued. Third: Melvin was at home when he fell into a coma and never regained consciousness. And the day he passed The Tempts made it to the hospital, but he was already gone. So. Nobody spoke to him in the hospital Fourth: it was always acknowledged that the scene of his passing in the mini-series was not depicted how it actually happened. Otis has been said interviews AND in updated version of his book in CHAPTER 10!!!! So let's get some real clarity here

Ever since I can remember I have been a fan of the Temptations. In my opinion the Temps haven't any equal in any genre of music.
