This man read so profusely until he became blind. And I remember as a child when the Black Panthers came to the Bronx around 1965 they refused to use the term Negro. And they explained their reasoning exactly like Dr.John Henrik Clarke. And I can tell you the first things the Panthers emphasized was that they were there not to preach hatred of the White man but knowledge of one's self and self awareness. The Panthers encouraged us youngsters to read the works of as many Black literary giants of the day.James Baldwin could run circles around any intellectual at that time. I loved Dr.Clarke& Dr.Ben Yosef. And thats just to name a few.

Some of his younger associates that he influenced such as Lenorad Jeffries, Marimba Ana, James Small and Asante etc. have continued aspects of his visionary Pan African thought, but Dr. Clarke is really hard to replace, because he read and brought together so many perspectives to the field of revolutionary Pan African/Nationalism struggle.
He was unquie and rare regarding the interpretation of African history.

Listening to his break down of history, he made it seems so simple, no mental gymnastics, straight to the point, what a wonderful gift he had.
There was even something more special about him, he never bite his lips to speak the truth, and that was always refreshing about him.
My favorite black Historian, because of his bravery, I have always painted a picture of him saying, I don't give a dam what anybody thinks, the truth was his shield. "The bravery of the man" what said about Alexander Greek, he was a drunk, that did it for me, that one was new to me. The European painted such a great picture of him, and the look on his face when he was saying that.
Is like he was almost about to say, he was an idiot, because he drank too much.

You will always be A black person, and that's what black people must focus on and begin to truly care about each other all over the world. This is the only way black people will ever come up, by standing by each other!!!! There's no other way family!!!!

That would be nice. But in reality. We are one race. As stated in the video, white people created the word race. To separate themselves from all other races. Think about this, who came up with the word minority and why? One race gets to say, we're the majority, and you're the minority. Where is that written in stone? The sad part is, that we accepted it as facts. 🫤

Tony Brown Journal was one of the greatest Black informative ever allowed on television , he might be the reason there hasn’t been another one since . WS made a great mistake letting him on , but it was too late because the wine was out of the bottle before they realized they were stinking drunk out of their minds . What minds they ever had , if they ever had one at the start . Need we say more ? B1 . Amin and Shalom .
