- Loved ones gathered Wednesday to hold a bike ride in honor of Dan Frost. He was out on a ride early Saturday morning when police say a driver hit him and then left the scene.

many years ago a professional woman's cyclist was hit and killed by an illegal which had drifted onto the shoulder of the opposite side of the road around a curve at white rock lake and hit her head on. perp left his truck, made a run back to the border and i don't believe he has ever been caught. not safe from these clowns even biking at white rock lake.
I'm far away, but I feel the pain. So sorry for the loss of Dan. Here in Vegas the traffic deaths are very numerous.
The judges treat them like parking tickets and release most all the DUI and Hit & Run offenders, then probation.
At first, I thought he left the scene because he was drunk, but he returned a short time later. Was he given a breathalyzer test?
Cyclists should not ride two up, it's asking for trouble. If they need to talk, get radio communications.
