@Debbie I'd say it's hard to accurately measure the amount of "good" vs. "bad" cops in a given country, let alone even a state or county. Some cops run into the line of danger to save people, and some shoot dogs just because they run at them. They should be judged as people by their character rather than labeled as a whole simply determined by their profession.
@@multihorse If someone shoots a dog because they ran at them and there's video of it you can sue the cop/police and win because the dog has to pose a threat of great bodily harm to someone before they'd be legally okay to just shoot it. @Orphs Cookie I think most pet owners would agree no amount of money can replace a part of their family (their dog). It shouldn't happen in the first place unless it's a 100lb pit bull owned by a drug dealer as an attack dog.
This cop with the bodycam is a consummate professional. Policing without anger or emotion. Treating suspects with respect and decency. Excellent work, sir.

@Truth Crime Absolutely. There are some bad apples out there in law enforcement without a doubt and they should be dealt with. I think for the most part most cops have the desire to show compassion. When they're having to fight with someone who is struggling and yelling and kicking or they're being surrounded by a group of friends and bystanders while trying to arrest someone, they' can't let their guard down to have a chit chat until they are 100% sure that they have the situation under control.
Just came from a video where cops in Knoxville TN ridiculed and tormented an elderly lady in the middle of a stroke who then died in their car. A grim contrast.
This video was amazing. Officer Ryan is the ideal LEO imo. No arguing, no anger, no aggression. It was shocking the see him put his hand on the suspect's back and thank him for stopping. Most police are like this unless, there is a tiny minority that cause the issues that the media and racial identitarians focus on to push a narrative and spark strife and chaos where none needs to be had. Most people including police just want an easy job, to get through their shift safely and collect their paycheck to sustain themselves and their family.

Why would these people deserve respect??? They were trying to kill people.
7:17 was absolutely the single best moment I've ever seen from a cop. After ensuring there's no danger and the situation is taking care of he instantly makes sure the guy he was just chasing is okay and was extraordinarily polite with him. I don't think I could ever have that level of cool in my life.
Gives his name and speaks so clearly to build a productive engagement. Takes care of business and does it with a sense that there is real concern for the community and the people that are in it.
There are more good cops than bad. We only hear about the bad ones because people love to read it !! Sad
And in most cases I've looked up just now (which might be effected by my search terms) even when the officer claims the dog was lunging at him with intent to cause great bodily harm the family still wins the cases after showing bodycam footage.

Amazing how an officer is able to be compassionate when the criminal complies with instructions and doesn't try fighting with the cops.
It changed the whole scenario. What could have been a dangerous arrest involving resisting was instead calm and quiet. They need to show this video to cadets. Please keep Officer Ryan safe so he can teach others. He's an example to all.
He was so busy patting the perp on his back they forgot to take the perp to jail. Nearly kills somebody and wastes taxpayer money leading a dozen patrol vehicles on a high speed and then foot chase. WHY AGAIN was Deontae not taken to jail?

Wow, that guy is a repeat hit and run offender, and he never got taken to jail. The only thing that stuck was a not wearing a seatbelt infringement. Talk about Afro privilege. Running from the police (resisting arrest), undertaking on the shoulder, speeding, dangerous driving none of them crimes were even charged against him. And American Blacks still think the system is against them. Imagine if a white person did all that, causing all that carnage and waste of police resources, they would be up for a two three year prison sentence minimum. That would be as a first time offender, too. Never mind a repeat hit and run offender.
You know she understood how serious everything was, based on how she instantly complied, and didn't argue or get loud.
I know she couldn't keep the cardio up, hoped to avoid any responsibility, and didn't attempt to convince the other piece of human trash of how serious everything was. If she understood how serious the situation was, she would have been waving the officer down in front of her natural habitat while talking to the driver on the phone, not relaxing in an appropriate place for her to live out her days.
@@iloveallthepeople Maybe you should change you name... It sounds like you despise these people.
@@SirHorned19 i agree, that was obviously racist. 😢
@@SirHorned19 I see where you are coming from, but they are not condemned to stay trashy, and I'm sure she's done plenty of good. The concept that "she understood how serious the situation was and instantly complied without [having a tantrum]" is just a little bit gross to me.
It seems like OP is saying "because she didn't act the worst way she could, she's a good person" and let's be serious, she didn't act responsibly about putting lives in danger. It was moreso juxtaposition for the comment than how I feel about the woman in the video.
Also, just because you disapprove of someone's actions, doesn't mean you disapprove of them. And just because you don't think someone who acts terribly should enjoy the same luxuries as an outstanding citizen, doesn't mean you dislike them. It just means you appreciate the good work others do
What I did? What I do? Sheeeet
Bro...I could never be a police officer, just the thought of hitting someone with a car and fleeing makes me sick to the point where I could not have been as polite as that cop. Amazing work.
incredible how these officers handled this entire situation. HUGE props to them.
This police officer, I just can't find the words to describe....there are just too many. Polite, considerate, wherever he's from, he represents well.
I watched the whole thing, wow. The woman police officer that did the search for the phone, nice job.
This officer needs a medal! So others can learn how to conduct them selfs professionally A+!!! Well Done!! Thank you for your service and keep doing it!!! God bless!!!
Let's major criminals go with tickets no jail
Cmon You act like every cop is bad or can’t communicate or do their job professionally. You only see the crap ass videos that are posted mostly cause there’s issues . You don’t get to see the every day all the time videos.
The punishment is a joke and explains why criminals keep doing this.
Love this officer! So much compassion.
He’s on tv.
Why waste compassion on these lowlifes?
Lot of comments of how well the guy was treated. Now, imagine this guys running just killed your wife and newborn.
I really like this officer, he’s a shining example of how an officer should do their job. Hopefully he becomes a trainer.
These officers were so professional. You know it's bad when the expectations of both sides are to be completely awful. But once they surrendered even the perps were respectful.
For some of them, this sort of thing is a common occurrence, unfortunately.
The judge and/or prosecutors that let him go so easily should be charged with felony failure to properly charge and indict a repeat felon. This is so messed up!
We have the Democratic idiots to thank for the coddling of criminals..
Their woke so 😀
I agree, but Wisconsin University hands out law degrees to liberal, left wing, flag burning,Communist that are running the state. New York City took over Wisconsin fifty years ago.
Wisconsin for you.
The judge and prosecutors did not give the citation, the police did that. This video did not post the sentencing given by the judge.
That cop’s stache is divine. True 70’s pornstar stache. My dad would be proud.
Wow. Officer Ryan should be a training officer if he isn't already. The way he handled himself given the circumstances was extraordinary, or rather, how all officers should handle themselves and citizens. Lots of other officers out there would have attacked him, called him names, etc. This was great to see and makes me proud to live in Wisconsin, but extremely sad to see the guy who did this got a $5k cash bond when he's a repeat offender and almost killed a bunch of people.
The Northwesterners Common Sense.
I was thinking the exact same!!!!!
You sound like a weak meat bot.....
Yeah, it's super important to treat someone who is a "a repeat offender and almost killed a bunch of people" with the utmost respect. We wouldn't want to hurt his feelings or bruise his ego in any way. He's just a hard-working criminal out doing his job....
I think the lesson which you missed is treat everyone with respect and things don't have to go sideways. Might be time for you to grow up
Props to the female suspect she made it very easy on herself.
but she costed the tax payer hundreds of dollars asking for unncessarry ambulance, that's blk for u.

@@jahshjahsh2002 Well I don't think its unnecessary if our Emergency Responders and Doctors are being paid more. Plus who knows, maybe when they hit the car they were jerked and maybe she did have to get treated. Be a bit more compassionate.
@@lavorien1587 ok
Officer Ryan needs to be recognized for this, thank you for posting this. Cops are people too and lots of them are just doing there jobs and helping people and the world just needs to understand that.
