  • In this video we'll show you how we bead rolled sheet metal into floor pans using our motorised Baileigh Industrial bead roller, creating a complete removable rear truck bed floor for our VW MK1 Caddy Rabbit Pickup.
We include plenty of tips and tricks so you can learn how to bead roll sheet metal if you're a beginner to the art of metalworking.

    🛠 ABOUT ROTBOX
Hey! We're Mat & Len, a guy and a girl from North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. We love making stuff out of metal and building cars together.
What kind of cars do we build? We mainly work on modern classic cars (anything 80s- early 90s) and right now we're restoring and modifying a VW MK1 caddy pickup #thatslammedcaddy . We're down for anything metalworking related and always love to hear your suggestions for what DIY project we should take on next in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by, if you want to see more welding, grinding, hammering, plasma cutting, press braking as well as all the ups and downs of our fabrication projects make sure you subscribe by hitting that red button!

To stop oil canning/ warping you need to english wheel the panel the oposit way up to what the swage is going to drop. Only a very slight radius mind just a few passes. Ive Been doing it this way for more years than i know works every time.

Hold up...... Have i missed somthing? Have you changed your mind on the previous floor bed the diamond quilted one built a few months back? I loved the look of that version, any partucular reason for the change of heart? Keep up the good work and Videos. I look forward to seeing this beauty cruising round town. 👍🏼

Hey cheers for the comment, the diamond floor got ripped out in the bulkhead video. We did really like it but just decided it didn't fit in with the rest of the custom work and wanted to make it removable as well.

    Good day
    I want to ask
I deal on metal doors so is there a machine that can be used to clip two sheets to form a metal door ?

This literally the only YT in a while i actually watched and not at x2 playback speed. I have one question though that yellow 'welder' that did the tack welding. What was that?

Thanks so much for such an awesome comment! The 'yellow tack welder' is called a spot welder. Cheers!
