  • In this video i am, demonstrating how to bead roll triangle recessed areas into an aluminum panel, then adding a quilted pattern inside of the triangle areas. this give a really neat effect to panels that can be used for interior work, floors and other visible panel work

    The apparent ease with which you did this establishes your expertise with this machine, the result is outstanding!
    Many (including myself) will aspire to create such neat bead rolling results.

    Very nice bead rolling. I like that design, and it’s quite neat. I’d use it in a custom seat configuration.

    I need this machine! I really want to incorporate some metalworking into my furniture making hobby.
    And this video gave me some great inspiration for just that. I'm thinking about a desk with quilted metal siding or something like that

    Those are the most ridiculously over built, ginormous, bohemian bead rollers ever made. And I love that. Lol. Never know when a guy may need to bead roll some 1/2 inch plate.

    Why would you not use a slip roller to straighten /flat the panel?

    • @deckmonkey1459
      @deckmonkey1459 3 роки тому

      I would imagine it will damage the bead. Check Lazze on UA-cam to see how prestretches the panel on the English wheel so it stays flat.

    My question is how come no warp after the triangles and before the quilting stage. If this is 3003 h14 grade what is the gauge. Thanks

    • @cornfieldcustoms
      @cornfieldcustoms  Рік тому

      Warping is controlled by depth, pressure and tool offset. Material thickness is .063
