@@pakyu1050 Wagakki are an equal to B-M in my mind, albeit there's more people in that group-po, and their sort of more Folk-Metal, but unlike Babymetal (BM, not B-M), both Wagakki & Band-Maid can play their instruments, and don't have such strong rivalries in the core trio.

After decades of being involved in a wide breadth of heavy rock and metal, without pomp or pretences I can bravely and genuinely say my discovery of Band Maid has been the most momentous experience in my life of music. And I know there are hordes of similar people across the globe having the same catharsis. Irrespective of technicalities and musical jargon, the experience of listening to them just purely comes down to a life affirming joy. Wow, maybe their world domination is upon us. Bring it on, the world needs it.

I totally agree, and I do my best to support Band-Maid here there and everywhere. I hope they will reach their goal of world domination, they deserve it. For the survival of RocknRoll they have to succeed. For ages I thought Rock was dead and buried until last March when I discovered the most interesting music I've ever heard, coming from 5 young women in Japan, Band-Maid. They left me speechless, moved to tears and most of all very happy. What happened I can't describe with words and I have never felt anything like it with other bands ever (maybe The Beatles way back.... noooo forget it they do not come close to Band-Maid). I've heard and seen too many Omajinai's from Miku to ever recover from her spell, neither do I want to, I belong to the Small Pigeon forever.

Sometimes your favorite part may not be an essential part of a song. On this song I absolutely LOVE Misa's "Youoooop" then later "Ooooop." The rest of the song is awesome too, but for some reason Misa's little vocal bit is like icing on the cake for me. ❤

I don't see how you can compare their level of songwriting to Band-Maid, who have them easily beat in all departments, especially musicianship. I love Akane's mid song Drum refrain 2:28 building up (into the 2min 40's), back and forth in headnodding steps alongside with Misa's licking Bass, & Saiki's (& Miku's) emotive vocals, all together imparts a heavy-metal vibes of a building anticipation of insightful knowing, understanding ..of sorrow & hope, pain/struggle & a readiness ..to answer the signaled call to action.

過去には日本人も無理に英語で歌っていたが、どうしても越えられない言葉の壁があった。
しかし、今は「日本語」で歌うことに価値がある。

ミクが「策士」と言われるのも納得です。
なんだろ？この今までにない斬新なメロディと歌詞。彼女たちにしかない、完璧な世界観に 引き込まれてしまう至福の4分54秒でした！
Mag sein daß es noch bessere Stücke von BM gibt - dieses ist aber immer wieder faszinierend. Der Kontrast von Rockmusik und traditioneller japanischer Kleidung macht es wohl aus. Über die musikalischen Fähigkeiten der Band erübrigt sich ja wohl jede Diskussion. 🥰

My thoughts exactly. I've come to hate April 1st and it's stupid childish fake stories and unfunny pranks ... that they went to this level of effort and creativity to give something wonderful to their fans speaks volumes as to the awesomeness of their character.

I love April Fools and all the jokes. There are always a few that are very well done. Of course I don't make life so serious I can't enjoy a joke. A lot of them have led to actual things, too. 😂

I just let YT autoplay about half a dozen Band-Maid MVs back-to-back and was about to finally go to bed...but then I saw this was next. If I'm lucky, I'll have dreams that are influenced by watching it yet again.
I think the Band-Maiko is my favorite complete album. Its just really good. The tradition instruments encorporated in the music is very cool.

The contents of the lyric are the same, but it was rewritten as a Kyoto dialect. And this Kyoto dialect is a special social dialect used by Maiko.
