We saw George in the ‘90’s. Venue closed at 1 but they just kept on grooving till 3:30 am Venue finally had to put the house lights on. Was as funktastic night indeed! 🔦🎶🎤💃🏼💃🏼
The song is called Knee Deep made in the 70’s by Parliament Funkadelic
Parliament back in the 70s helped to set a new standard of entertainment by mixing music with some wild outfits that if you happened to be stone it was like "WOW Man" but if you never have been stoned then it like "I must be stone, on second hand pot smoke."
😂
IN FUNK WE TRUST 🤘🏿
Beat don't fail me now🎉😂❤
Dawn, Lynn, and Sheila 😍😍😍
👑 Funkadelic 👑 My Favorite Funk Band Big Respect To My Idol Mr George Clinton Dr Funkenstein ♥️ 🖤 💚. One Nation under A Groove My Favorite Song P-Funk All-star
Wow what a band. Eddie Hazel, Bernie and Junie on the same stage
Pretty sure my sisters n their friends were there... they’d always come back from Parliament Funkadelic concerts so damn excite and talk about it for days
6:31 Lynn Mabry sounds so good. George looks like he’s been up since 1976. Without Glenn, Bigfoot and some of the others, the funk was struggling. Sad how quickly success and drugs took down the greatest band ever
I had a good laugh at George looking like he's been up since 1976, imagine the psychedelics and cocaine consumption.
@@brötzmannsax enough to fuck up a small country or continent 😂
Or at least One Nation, ha.
I love Lynn and Junie harmonizing by the piano
Lynn and Dawn giving somber energy in the back of George
Do you have any footage of the animated sequences that used to play before certain P-Funk concerts? I've been trying to track down those cartoons, since they're very valuable as Black cartoons and early afrofuturistic media.
Make my funk the p-funk!
