The mod used is called Imperium, it’s amazing for testing!
whenever i try and use imperium, the enemies hitboxes seem to turn off and become invincible, do you know how to fix this by any chance?

@@GregTashI had the same problem actually. For me, the solution was to turn off all other mods I had installed. If you already don’t have any other mods installed, then I don’t know what to do.

The jumping AI break should get fixed, but hopefully the first method will stay, since it's not really that cheesy and requires proper execution.

Using the fact their bodies rotate independently of their feet is such a fitting strat
I wouldn't be surprised if they get collision to negate the "jump through" though

i used to be all into nutcracker cheese, until i heard someone point out that fighting a nutcracker the right way is basically becoming batman. now thats the only way ill ever do it.

What is the "right way"
What's funny is that I tried to do the nutcracker cheese prior to the patch, and it never worked for me. But I had little issue fighting it the intended way.
@@epicgamerzfail4575 hiding from it, taking cover when it shoots, and attacking it when it's distracted or reloading and then getting back int cover
@@epicgamerzfail4575 baiting the shot while hitting it, disappearing behind a corner for the shot, and repeating as before, except when reload, then you can hit 2 times (or 3 if close to dead)

@fadedgames1 exactly like whenever we learn a way to avoid or kill enemies more effectively but it still needing to be not only hard to learn but takes skill to do consistently he takes it away it removes skill expression which makes the game less enjoyable

The "behind the legs" method feels like a completely fair cheese as it requires more awareness and control. I kinda want Zeekers to patch out the jump cheese, but I'd be ok with keeping the behind-legs one in.

This is really cool, I like people finding new tricks and I hope zeeker doesn't give up on trying to make the nut balanced
Facts. I think if there was 0 cheese method but nut could only see camera movement, it would be really fun to play around.
The Nutcracker is very well balanced currently, hard to kill, but the cheese methods need to be fixed.
@@call_me_bread Maybe it can't see crouch walking to give balanced movement but had no chesse would make it like eyeless dogs as they restrict but don't fully stop movement when you are near?

Btw, ghost girl comes out of vents that’s how she spawns atleast in v50, just letting you know you probably did. A vent opened next to me, nothing came out, then 5 seconds later lights started to flicker
Pretty sure I remember she spawned from the vents since version 49, I was testing the minimap mod and I saw an opened vent and saw nothing in the minimap and several seconds later I saw ghost girl
@@sheesh6936 im reasonably sure she's always spawned from the vent, as she counts as an indoor enemy, and all indoor enemies spawn from vents

Next update zeekerss makes the shotgun shot hitbox as wide as the entire map. And yes, it would reach outside the facility
Lmao. That’s all he needs to do tho is just make the hitbox extend below the shotgun
I prefer classic. 1 hit to aggro, hide behind something, 2 hits on reloading, hide again, 2 hits on reloading.
Barely used crouch method because I knew one day Zeekers would fix it.
From one side it's good he's fixing bugs, but from another side he only fixes bugs that are helping players. Most of it were a very interesting unique features.
Occasionally you will get shot while doing this even though you landed your last hit due to host lag. It’s quite annoying

hey so quick thing I found out how to phase out of the ship with the filing cabinet and immediately fall the second the level loads before the doors open and for some reason you don't take fall damage. which is a great time save on somewhere like artifice if you aren't using a jetpack. I don't know if other people have found this out but Im happy to show you. also thank you for sharing/perfecting this the regular method is so tedious and geographical rng dependent
At this rate, Nutcracker is going to be turned into one of the least cheese-able enemies with how many times Zeekers got to patch him. 😅
I kinda liked the old cheese since it was very risky to do. Now they just added several even easier exploits.

My favorite part about fighting a nutcracker is when a coilhead appears out of nowhere and kills me in the middle of the fight
Bread you can just crouch and circle the nutcracker, he can't touch you and don't know were to go (i'm french sorry for my english)
So Zeekers make the nutcracker a collision and make it so it is able to turn and kick at them if they were too close after shooting or before. This is just if you don't want the exploits happening.

I feel ai bug and heel crouch will be patched out, since they are in-universe illogical. the upper body does a full 360 so it shouldn't matter that you are at his heels, and like, the ai literally deactivates.
however, it is possible to kill a thumper slowly without it ever seeing you or changing up it's pathing, so, there are times where living enemies don't "turn on their ai" in response to damage contact with players.
the timed jump method could go either way...
- "jumping over the monster" feels not plausible since it's rather tall.
- but if you think if you are "jumping over the shotgun" to evade the circumstances of their aim, then that seems a bit logical way to dodge, especially since the timing of the jump matters.
Since they litteraly ate their legs maybe we can consider thumpers have lost most of their reactions to pain ig

Quick question: Can you use the first jumping method to bait the 2 initial shots and then use the reload freeze method, or do you need standard bait for method 2.
If I phrased this weird, I can elaborate.
yes, you can. i just tested it, however it doesn't to be as consistent or reliable as baiting its shots (though this has yet to be thoroughly examined)
Although it’s cool theres a new cheese, Ever since the last cheese patch, I been practicing and can consistently kill nutcrackers the real way but it’s nice to know theres an easy way incase if the nutcracker is in an open room!

@@Icedonot average balance supporter vs average exploit enjoyer, i think it is fun to abuse exploits. No one is entitled to dictate a play style on players except devs since, they develop. It is sad and nice to see useful exploits get patched. I always try this things have my fun and go back to intented way of devs.

I thought the shimmy walk WAS the patch; making it a risky play but still viable

Cool strats. I know these will get patched in a few weeks (maybe months), but since I had to learn how to fight them glitchless and no crouch strat since last patch, I now have a degree in killing those bastards, so I'm not really worried
(I HAD to become an expert in killing them since none of my frienda know how to, and now they are always amazed by how I kill them with ease but in truth it is not even that hard if the conditions are optimal... I mean, no coils, bracken, thumpers or whatever bullshit the game decides to throw just when you are about to fight a nutcracker, and sometimes these enemies arrive when you are already fighting and screw everything)

try researching crouch sprinting. It got fixed but not fully. Now it requires something like pressing crouch and sprint at the same time but it's hard
