      Thanks for watching man I really appreciate it! Next April will be 10 years of ownership for me with this XJ. It seems like completely stock XJ’s are getting rare to find and get. I really appreciate it! If we’re every in the area I’ll reach out 😊

    I have been using instant coffee for a while now and I agree. Saves space and time. As much as I like fresh ground coffee, I try and find ways to save time so we can relax longer. I have been looking at getting a tire table for the longest time.

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  Рік тому +1

      This is the first trip with instant coffee and I don’t think I’ll go back 😂 over the years of camping I’ve been learning that with food prep and camp setup quick and easy is the best. Less dishes and packing up means more time to relax 😊. We got the tire table a few years ago and it’s been great. We paid a little extra and got the aluminum one over the steel to eliminate the chance of rust and have a lighter weight setup

    love yall hole set up it very simple and reliable, looking to make a few trips in my 2003 silverado that ill be SAS swaping one day for a real trail rig and to camp and cooler sites. iv always loved XJ i just never fit in them, i also rock crawl a big ole k5 blazer for my extreme wheeling but im so into camping and fishing right now. =0)~ San Antonio TX here brother happy camping and wheeling

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for watching man! A Silverado would be great as a camping rig you have all that room in the bed for gear! The xj works for us since we’re pretty minimalist with what we take but it gets filled with stuff fast for longer trips.
      I love K5 blazers! They’re worth their weight in gold out here in az but an old squarebody wheeler is awesome!

    Really nice setup guys. I agree with the instant coffee. There are some really great options out there. Do you change your setup when summer rolls around?

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  Рік тому +1

      I really appreciate it thanks for watching 😊 the setup you have in your Comanche is really squared away too. Very capable and practical. Natalie ordered some stuff from Vietnam we’re trying for overland expo and I’m hoping it’s really good!
      For summer our setup changes up just a little. Mostly we downsize the amount of blankets we take and definitely bring more water for showers and to drink! We also change the time we leave for trips to avoid the hottest time of the day. We either leave really early in the morning or we’ll leave later in the afternoon a couple hours before sunset so we’re not baking in the sun on our drive.

      Yessir always need a few 2a items on the trail! You never know what’s out there in the backcountry 👀. Natalie knocked it out of the park with the food selections for this trip!

      Background noise to help you sleep? Like an AC being on or the fan running. Unless you’re one of those people that sleep in total quiet
