This is very helpful for those of us with this type. I often wondered why I looked not so good in this style of clothing when they look great on others. Thanks!! ♥

Thank you for explaining about symmetry/asymmetry! I’ve never heard for rounded/romantic which is better but it makes complete sense what you said about it.

Honestly, 23:30 can't agree on Rs looking bad in anything asymmetrical. Pure yin type in kibbe's book is described as someone who is not looking symmetrical in the first place, so asymmetrical lines in clothing would actually play the same song with your facial features. I myself as a pure romantic always get more compliments on my looks when I wear something that has an interesting asymmetrical cut in necklines or overall silhouette

That was interesting to me. When I wear soft fabrics off the shoulder/one shoulder, I always get compliments specifically on my “softness”, shoulders, necklines. It emphasizes the romantic vibes.

You may be getting those compliments because the asymmetrical aspect is calling attention to itself (and distracting from you). I do believe in the book, oftentimes Kibbe will say 'symmetrical' but he means 'symmetrical between yin and yang' so in that sense, romantics are obviously not at all 'symmetrical' because they fall so far yin. but that doesn't mean literally asymmetrical left to right. Sometimes he does use the word symmetrical to describe Classic faces though, but then again, he said Meryl Streep is SC and she isn't particularly symmetrical......so I do wonder if even that is just that classics *are* symmetrical between yin and yang, not literally symmetrical left and right.

The clothes reviewed look quite old-fashion, I can't relate to any of it or maybe it's the styling.

It’s about the silhouettes, not necessarily the style
